• Csilla (1/5): Scammed - Extremely concerning experience. After booking, we were asked to transfer a £120 “security deposit” directly to a personal Revolut account outside the Booking.com system. When we refused and requested that all payments remain on-platform, the host refused to accommodate our stay. As a result, we had to urgently find alternative accommodation despite already paying through Booking. Afterwards, we noticed multiple reviews from other guests reporting similar off-platform payment requests. Everything has now been reported to Booking.com with screenshots and evidence. Be very careful before booking here.

• Adris (9/5): - Excellent value for money. Room and facilities are nothing fancy but more than adequate. Great location for central East Dulwich high street and only a 10 min walk from the station. Clear good communication from the host. Deposit was fully refunded on the same day of checking out.
• Tony (1/5): Obscene Deposit required. Did not check-in. No refund given. - Nothing to say. I didn’t stay in the property. I booked it last minute as it was available for £30 for one night. However, be aware - the host then asks you for a deposit of £429 to be sent via bank transfer. Bare in mind I booked at 9pm, and was due to check out the next morning at 9am. Their policy is that they would refund you deposit the day of checkout but it is obvious they will delay sending it back. I do not trust sending payments via bank transfer either. I got in contact with the host and they did respond swiftly and did offer to reduce deposit to £100 - however for a budget property like this, I found it completely unnecessary and did not check in. I asked to cancel and for a refund however their policy prevents them. Essentially - if you are happy to pay a deposit then you can book. However is £429 suitable for a shared room when there are a ton of better options in London? On first look, I did not imagine a deposit is required, but I will admit fault, they do mention they require a deposit. In the end, this is just and advice for you to be pay attention to the deposit amount required.

• AndyP (1/5): Upfront costs are higher than the room cost. - Didn't get to stay for the 1 night that I paid for ( £27 pounds) because of the extra cost of £100 pounds deposit ( In case of damages ) required refund of room booked, request denied. So for this reason, I wasn't happy.

They will send you a message after booking, demanding a €500 deposit, to send to a random “secure account”, of which I refused to do and asked for my money back 3 minutes after the booking. They didn’t cancel and marked me as a no show so they took my money. No compassion when I spoke with them, no care, not helpful. Avoid being scammed. Don’t book! I don’t like being scammed

They ask for £500 as deposit and they didn't have any available when I arrived and anyone to welcome the customers.

Furthermore, without paying this deposit you are not given the full address or the access code. On top of that, the accommodation and towels smell of mold, with an overall unpleasant odor. The toilet leaks, leaving the floor flooded. Overall, the experience is not recommended.
• Pilar (1/5): Decepcionante - Nada Te piden fianza de 500€ con antelación, sin posibilidad de chequear que dentro del alojamiento todo está bien, por lo que se recomienda hacer video exhaustivo con todos los detalles tanto a la entrada como a la salida, para que así no te puedan acusar de haber algún desperfecto y evitar una posible estafa. Si no envías ese depósito no te dan la dirección ni la clave. Lo colchones son horribles, te clavas los muelles, y hay un olor muy fuerte a moho en toda la estancia. Al devolverte la fianza te cobran 15£ aunque dejes todo impecable. No lo recomiendo para el precio que tiene!!

When I got there, there were 2 other confused and worried guests waiting outside also unable to get in. None of us could get through by phone. I suggest that this is a scam and the reviews are fake.

I was woken by another Guest who was outside and couldn't get in, even with the key from the keysafe outside. I have no problem with Him, but I couldn't unlock the door from the inside either. No 4 had two men in who also tried and couldn't get the door to open. We were all in The London to Brighton Bike Ride early the next morning. The 18 year old boy was left in the property after 5.45 when I left the property. The door barrell (lock) seemed to have failed locking us in and the new Guest out. Booking.com have agreed to reimburse the three of us locked inside.

Very pleasant 20 min walk to Loughborough Junction then 15 mins to Euston St Pancras International. Five mins walk to big Sainsbury’s supermarket. Negative points: no very close by pubs, cafes, corner shops. They were also 20 min walk away.

They sent me a message that booking time check in time was 1am . I sent a message to them and booking.com that I need my refund. All they did was to apologize.
