• Margherita (10/5): - This place is situated just inside the famous Porta Navona arch. The very old building was confronting at first, but my third floor room was roomy, modern and immaculately clean. Excellent bathroom. The WiFi was very good. My balcony overlooked the bustle of the markets, and I loved the earthy character of the local area. Truly Napoletana! I had fresh air and sunshine, and a fascinating view of local life to enjoy. It's an easy five minutes walk from the train station. There are many reasonably priced restaurants all around, plus the metro nearby. There are three flights of stairs to get to the room. But I'm a seventy year old woman on my own, and I managed to haul my case up the wide stairs ok. Ignore the grubbiness of the common stairway; you'll be delighted when you step into the room. The host kept in excellent contact and always responded immediately to any questions. He also gave me a later checkout time on request. I would stay here again. Such a great place for a truly Neapolitan experience.

Gentilezza e cortesia del gestore, disponibile a tutte le nostre richieste Quartiere malfamato. Spaccio di droga sotto casa. La sera, al rientro in appartamento, non ti senti sicuro. Peccato.

Letto comodo, doccia ampia. Onestamente non ho sentito rumori dalla strada, quindi silenziosa Mancava l’acqua dí benvenuto L’asciugacapelli era rotto (e non dovrei essere io a farmi carico del nuovo acquisto) I sacchi delle lenzuola dei precedenti ospiti sono rimasti all’ingresso per tutto il tempo della mia permanenza L’elettricità della camera è regolata inserendo la tessera in camera. Se esci (con la tessera) non puoi lasciare a caricare apparecchi elettronici Il quartiere è multietnico e ha i suoi difetti (Non ho avuto problemi di sicurezza)

• Christian Kurt (7/5): Gute Lage, aber Bahnhofsviertel einer Großstadt. - Die Nähe zum Hauptbahnhof, war für Ausflüge sehr praktisch. Das Zimmer war sauber und gut ausgestattet. Im Flur zu den drei Wohnungen hat es streng gerochen, nicht aber im Zimmer. Das Viertel der Wohnung ist sehr dreckig und in der Nacht fühlt man sich nicht sicher aufgrund von Dealer, die allerdings einen in Ruhe lassen, wenn man die Geschäfte nicht stört. Die Müllabfuhr kam alle zwei Tage nach 23 Uhr.

• Vivien (9/5): - The accomodation was really nice and clean, we did a self check-in and check-out which is better and more comfortable for us. Enzo was really friendly and when i texted him he replied really quickly and helped. The first you get to the accomodation or the street it is a little scary and chaotic, but then you get used to it, one of the best trips i had! Like in the previous reviews, the accomodation is in a really dirty part of the town and there are always many people on the streets selling something. Thats the only bad thing, also the rooms are on the 3rd floor but when you enter the building there are no windows on the 1st and 2nd floor, it's a little scary.

L’appartement est tout juste propre lit parents ok lits enfants un peu juste pour adolescent et quartier très sale et inquiétant. Le petit dej est dans un café mais c’est un peu juste pour un petit dej, une boisson et une seule viennoiserie. Cafetier tout juste aimable
• Bohumil (10/5): Velmi milý a komunikativní hostitel - Dům je ve starším stavu, ale samotný byt, kde bylo ubytování bylo po nedávné rekonstrukci v dobrém stavu. Lokalita je blízko vlakového nádraží, kousek od letiště i historického centra města. Lokalita nám přišla bezpečná. Součástí ubytování byla snídaně v nedaleké kavárně, kde byl na výběr croissant + káva nebo čaj. Hostitel Enzo byl na nás velmi milý a přátelský. Enzo je komunikativní a je možnost se na něj s čímkoliv obrátit. Zjistil si, kdy přilétáme a odlétáme a sám nám navrhl možnost bezplatného dřívějšího check inu už v 10:30 dopoledne a možnost pozdějšího check outu až kolem 20:00 (pokud pokoj nebude vybookovaný na daný den. Tohoto kroku si z jeho strany moc vážíme a moc děkujeme. Příště si v Neapoli určitě vybereme stejné ubytování a rádi doporučíme pobyt dál.

Compatibilmente con le prenotazioni ci ha concesso di lasciare i bagagli in stanza l’ultimo giorno per permetterci di girare la città senza il peso delle valige nell’ultimo giorno del nostro soggiorno. Abbiamo gradito tanto questa gentilezza non dovuta. La camera è spaziosa e accogliente, pulita e dotata di comfort come aria condizionata,tv,acqua calda. Con delle piccole migliorie interne,relative a dettagli,il soggiorno sarebbe assolutamente perfetto. La zona di alloggio è nel cuore di Napoli,a due passi dalla stazione centrale,ma è una parte antica e il palazzo è a dir poco vecchio e non dotato di ascensore. Sicuramente non adatto a chi ha esigenze particolari.

• Tanya (10/5): - We absolutely loved our stay! Claudio, the apartment manager, was incredibly friendly and welcoming — he shared so many great tips about what to see and do. The location is fantastic, right in the center and close to everything, including the train station. Breakfast was tasty, and overall everything felt comfortable and easy. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely come back!

• Sabrina (10/5): - Mi sono trovata benissimo, la posizione è ottima sia per visitare la città, ma soprattutto per chi come me prende il treno: sia per arrivare, che per visitare Pompei, Sorrento e Salerno. La stanza è pulitissima e molto grande, completa di tutto. La comunicazione con Claudio è sempre stata rapida e gentile, pronto a darmi consigli e soluzioni a qualsiasi problema. Lo consiglio e sicuramente tornerei qui.
• inge (3/5): Ok. Nicht zu empfehlen für Alleinreisende. - Der Kontakt war unkompliziert und freundlich. Als glutenfreie Variante hat Claudio für mich extra Kekse ins Zimmer gestellt. Das war wirklich sehr aufmerksam! Danke! Mir wurde netterweise angeboten, mein Gepäck noch im Vorraum zu lassen bis ich abreise. Das hat sich für mich aber leider nicht sicher angefühlt. Die Straßen sind gut beleuchtet. Das Café für's Frühstück ist nett. Die Gegend hat leider gar keinen guten Ruf. Insbesondere als alleinreisende Frau habe ich mich sehr unwohl gefühlt. Es gibt keine wirkliche Haustüre und in der Nacht saßen Personen im Treppenaufgang, (?) rauchend. Das Bad wurde einmal stylish renoviert, fällt mittlerweile aber leider schon auseinander. Fazit: Es war ok. Funktional. Ein andermal würde ich in einer sichereren Gegend buchen.

• Sandy (9/5): Chambre sympa et moderne mais partie commune delabré - La chambre est super sympa, bien équipé et moderne mais le quartier et l’immeuble font vraiment peur. Quand tu te balades dans le quartier ou que tu montes les escaliers, il n’y a pas de fenêtre, c’est sale partout, tu te sens vraiment pas en sécurité. Mais dans l’appartement ça va ( à partir du 3eme étages)

• Emma (10/5): A great value and convenient stay. - Claudio was an excellent apartment manager - very friendly and helpful. He met us when we arrived and gave us lots of great recommendations. The place itself is very conveniently located by the main train station and circumvesuviana, so was a short walk when we arrived, departed and visited Pompeii and Ercolano. The room was very clean, spacious and tidy. The free breakfast at the local cafe was delicious! I can understand some negative comments about the general area. However, there is a key to get into the apartments and then a key card for the room so we felt very safe.

• Raymon (10/5): Central, authentic with a lovely host - Centrally located in a very lively part of town. The room was spacious, clean and up to par with a lovely view. My host Claudio went out of his way to accommodate me and was available for questions, tips & assistance round the clock, which made all the difference. Free Italian breakfast was offered at a cafetaria at a stone's throw away. Wifi was functional but could be faster. The neighborhood is gritty with plenty of local character which can work both ways depending on your preferences.

• Rachele (5/5): Non mi sento di consigliarlo - Quello che ci è piaciuto di più della struttura sono i mq della camera e del bagno che comunque sono molto comodi e poi l’host. Una persona squisita, sempre disponibile e di una gentilezza unica. Inoltre L aria condizionata era ben funzionante. Parto con quello che non ci è piaciuto partendo dalle cose più soft. La camera non ha una vera e propria finestra ma una finestra che si può aprire solo a ribalta e questo faceva sì che nella camera ci fosse sempre aria viziata in quanto non c’era ricircolo d’aria. Il materasso rumoroso e poco comodo. Inoltre come pulizia non capisco come la gente abbia fatto a mettere 9,4 come punteggio medio quando nella camera c’erano ragnatele agli angoli e per non parlare del bagno con la muffa nella doccia (allego foto). Anche la colazione ha lasciato a desiderare in quanto il servizio al tavolo non era incluso o almeno così ci é stato detto dal bar, per cui dovevi sbatterti a destra e sinistra per portare tutto quello che avevi preso al tavolo, sperando che nessuno ti rubasse quello che avevi lasciato al bancone o al tavolo. Quello che poi non ci é piaciuto per niente sono state le condizioni del palazzo dove si trovava l’appartamento: portone d’ingresso rotto, palazzo per niente curato, vecchio, sporco e non erano presenti neanche le finestre nel disimpegno tra un piano e l’altro, quindi tutto aperto, per cui non oso immaginare il freddo d’inverno. E per non farci mancare nulla 3 piani a piedi, ma il peggio non è questo. Il quartiere non è per nulla indicato ad un soggiorno in solitaria (soprattutto se siete donne) e neanche tra amiche. Mi sento di sconsigliarlo a prescindere. La sera il quartiere si trasforma e nei dintorni ci sono sempre persone poco raccomandabili. Noi non eravamo tranquilli quando tornavamo a casa e non abbiamo fatto mai troppo tardi proprio per questo motivo. Peccato per l’host perché è davvero una brava persona.

• Tanya (7/5): - Once you get past the sketchy neighborhood & dirty exterior of the building, the rooms are large & clean with basic Italian breakfast provided at a cafe nearby. Easy check in provided & owner responded promptly to any questions we had. Very close to Napoli Centrale station, as well as the many historic sites of Napoli. Easy pick up location for the tour operators we had booked for Pompeii & Amalfi. Location is a bit sketchy, on a garbage strewn street, and people constantly blocking the main doorway, sitting & smoking on the front steps. Stairwell littered with cigarette butts & dirt.

We were given one room, the window didn’t work, the shower was broken and the air conditioning was non-functional. We moved to another room where the windows worked, but everything was still a little worse for wear. Everything was a little bit dirty, including the bedding.

• Alexandria (8/5): Authentic, comfortable and great value - The room was in a building that is a bit gritty and run down from the outside, but once inside the property it looks newly renovated. It's in an authentic location that immediately presents a characterful essence of Naples. A market happens on the street, which might be intense for some people but it is safe and very quiet at night. The host was very friendly and great with communication! The breakfast included is at a great cafe around the corner. It's a classic Italian breakfast, a coffee and sweet pastry. Unfortunately the air conditioning wasn't working on our first night which left us with a very uncomfortable night's sleep as the room was very hot. The host quickly fixed it in the morning.

• Grace (6/5): Close to central train/bus stations. Difficulty getting into apartment building. - It was close to the central train and bus stations. The room was clean, and the bed was comfy. They let me check in extra early, which was fantastic. Shower water temperatures were good, the pressure was okay. Breakfast was supplied by a Cafe down the Street; one bakery item and one coffee. Downsides: The lock to the first gate/door to get inside was very difficult to use - 2 out of 3 times I could not open it - leading to feeling very unsafe trying to get in at night. This was only remedied by other residents coming out and letting me in. They had told me about this, but didn't tell me how best to jimmy it. When I brought it up, they told me it does work with some effort, and I was just unlucky... It would have been good to have a kettle in the room; there were no cups or cutlery. There was a small fridge and they supplied bottled water. I would not recommend the general location. It was dirty, and there were a lot of people hanging around at all hours of the day and night. The only area that seemed kind of nice was around the main tourist area on Via Toledo.
• Barbora (9/5): Superb - The guy who looked after us was very nice and helpful. He asked during our stay if everything was okay, he was in constant contact with us and nothing was a problem. Everything about the accommodation was very fine, exactly according to the photos. We had room no. 3, where unfortunately the window was darkened and could only be opened for ventilation - so there was no daylight and no view outside. The accommodation is not in a nice building, the access is a bit crazy and the area around the central station and accommodation is a bit scary, especially at night, but we expected that.

The room and bathroom was very spacious and clean. 10 mins walk from the main train station. Complementary breakfast in a nearby cafe was quite nice. The location around the property is a bit unclean due to a market which is there during the day. WiFi could be a bit better.

The toilet was clean, but had a stain on it which was a little off putting For 2 people it would have been helpful to have 2 keycards for the room as we didn't stick together all the time Location is good for connections to the centre and out of Napoli and it's a safe area. However it's a little run down sadly and can be difficult to notice lots of people living rough at night, especially by the station. This is an issue is with Napoli more generally

• Maria (7/5): Good - The host were very kind, the room was clean and comfortable, The breakfast was good! But the room is on a 3th floor and there is no lift therefore it was very complicated if you have heavy baggage additional the key that open the front door didn't fit right the lock so you have to spent couple of minutes trying to open the door.

• Lan (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely modern room in an apartment next to the train station. Extremely convenient place to stay. Closest you will feel to living like a local.
• Anamarija (10/5): You can see the real Naples through scary street, bad building and great room - The room is amazing. The building is horrible and scary, but when you enter the room it has everything you need and the bathroom is really big and amazing. We had a problem with the key which was our fault, but the owner helped us and it tourned out okay. The building is scary and the street at night is not so comfortable, but during the day it is okay.
• Katherine (10/5): Exceptional - The room was conveniently located and comfortable. The host, Enzo kindly accommodated us for an early checkin. The room was spacious and clean with air conditioning, which was much appreciated!

• Monika (10/5): Great one week :) - Claudio was super nice and helpful. He also got us an iron on the same day as we arrived. This place is close by to the train station and porto too. The area looks strange but its safe. We have been walking home late night nearly everyday. During the day there is a market on the streets but you can’t hear anything from them. • Jan (10/5): I highly recommend this accommodation👍👍👍 - The accommodation was clean and in a good location. Everything was close. We really liked the attitude of the owner, who was always available and gave us useful advice. Nothing was a problem, communication was great and he helped us with everything. We felt at home. Absolutely exceptional service.
• Razvan (7/5): Decent stay, can be improved - The location is close to everything, a bit shady in the night, but this is normal in Naples. The room is quite spacious and the bed (mattress) is comfortable. The bathroom is well equipped. Breakfast is at a bar nearby and you can choose a drink and a pastry / desert. There is no reception, but a friendly staff member will meet you and check you in. No one serviced the room in a 3 nights stay, no new bedsheets, towels or cleaning the floor. The room had no natural light, the window can’t be opened nor closed fully, therefore it is a bit noisy. The pillows are like a sheet of paper.
• Karina (9/5): Superb - The accommodation is great. Very modern and clean. We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment and it is centrally located. What I would have liked: glasses and maybe a knife, fork and spoon. The air conditioning was great! What I didn't like: The breakfast. With a coffee and a piece of sweet. I am absolutely not a sweet person in the morning. Unfortunately there was no other choice. Breakfast should be organized differently. The apartment is great, clean and Claudio took great care of us and was always available for any questions.  Thanks to Claudio, you are doing a great job!  What we didn't like was the area: the smell of fish from the daily market right outside the door.  We did not like Napoli in general. Very dirty and lots of garbage.

• Massimiliano (7/5): Good - the property is very welcoming, clean and tidy, the neighborhood is quiet, obviously at night you have to be slightly more careful. the organizer of the guest house was welcoming and always helpful, however someone made a mistake in assigning the room, initially we were offered a quadruple room (double +2) and we also had to wait for the cleaning lady to finish her work , once we entered after about 10 minutes we were told that they had made a mistake and had moved us to a double (which had not yet been cleaned) so we waited another 10 minutes before entering, the room in question had a problem with the air conditioning didn't work, even though we had been warned of this, they didn't even give us a "small discount".
• Melania (10/5): Awesome acomodation - This accomodation was one of the best. Spacious room, comfortable bed, big and super clean bathroom. The location is close to the train/bus station. 7 min by foot. Also, Claudio, the manager of the apartment was so nice with us. Also there for us for anything. He also gave us some recomandion for restaurants and places to visit. If i will ever come back to Napoli, for sure i will come back to Sppra Le Mura.
• Stefan (10/5): The host was very kind he told us a lot about Naples and near by places. Also he kept our language in the apartment afte - Nice and very clean!
• Daniel (7/5): Good - Place well located in the city center. However, we found some mold stains on the curtains of the room.
• Naomi (7/5): Great location and friendly hosts - The host was really friendly and helpful and the property is in a great location. The room was clean and modern in the historic building The bed was very firm and not very comfortable to sleep on
• Vladislav (1/5): They had to stay for 4 days. As a result, they moved out after 2 days, but the staff refused to refund the money for the - Nothing. I do not recommend these apartments. Everything is bad. 1. The area is very dangerous as there are many refugees and homeless people in the area. It is dangerous to walk in this area after 4 pm. 2. The apartments are located in a fish market, so get ready for a pleasant smell and a lot of garbage. 3. There is no elevator, so you need to walk up to the fourth floor. This is a real problem for families with children. 4. The bed linen was dirty and the whole room stank of tobacco. Imagine being in such a room. The staff just said it wasn't our fault, it was the past tenants. Are you serious? 5. The bathroom stinks of sewage. It is impossible to be there. 6. There are no household appliances (for example, a kettle).
• Csanyi (5/5): Passable - Good location, a bit sketchy at night. The staff was friendly. We had no window in the room, it was pretty disappointing to have no fresh air or natural light in the room. Especially in the morning because it was always dark.
• Jorge (8/5): Very good - Location near markets, bus/train stations and metro; very clean; calm Erratic or no wifi in room, small breakfast
• Anna (9/5): Perfect location,ideally for money and city break staying. Good luck for Claudio for a future. - Perfect location,nice breakfast(coffee and croissants)at the nearest cafe. Clean,modern room,absolutely fantastic owners very helpful and friendly. Contact with Claudio by WhatsApp. Area wchih hotel is located doesn't look good,market Outside,but people are friendly. You might heard noises from market or when is bin day. No kettle,glasses or plates at room. Rooms are on the 3th floor and there is no lift.

• Clarisse (8/5): Lovely stay - The room was really close to the train station, very confortable and big enough for 2 The neighbourhood.. people were nice but by being 2 girls alone there, especially during the night it could be scary regarding the reputation of Naples.

• Rosstopher1234 (8/5): Great stay in Naples - Friendly and very helpful host. Very clean and modern apartment with great air conditioning Water wasn't hot, however it was fine because the weather was really hot.
• Ivana (10/5): The best accommodation so far - The room is large and well equipped (fridge, air conditioner, hairdryer, large mirror), the bathroom is also and very clean. Great location, 5 min walk to Garibaldi station. Enzo was very hospitable and ready to help. We had a flight later in the afternoon, he allowed us a late check out. I will definitely choose this accommodation again on my next visit to Naples
