- Dean (9/5): I wish we could stay longer - This place was an oasis of quiet and peace yet still walking distance to the main area and beach. Henri is a lovely man and made us feel very welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and relaxed which is exactly what we needed. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all the necessities. Even the frying pan was really good.

Incredible host: Henri hosted a delicious BBQ so we could meet the other guests. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we wanted: good coffee, yoga mats, books, transport to Samara & 3 lovely dogs to play with. Nothing
- Sophie (10/5): The host Henri and his super friendly staff are what make this place so wonderful. - This was such a great place in so many ways. I can’t imagine I would rather be anywhere else. It is in Norte, but not on the main drag, so it is quiet and has spacious grounds. I feel it has a lot of character with its winding white gravel paths surrounded by flush green plants spotted with deep pink leaves. The pool is a quiet oasis within an oasis. There is a common hexagonal palapa which has a barbeque and tables. The little Casitas have all you need plus an outdoor covered patio. There is a feeling of community here, with a weekly barbecue potluck for all the guests! Where do you find that these days?! Frankly, I can’t think of anything!

I expected the good location, the accommodations, etc, but was pleasantly surprised by - It came stocked with basically everything I needed and felt like home almost immediately. The owner was very friendly and accommodating and even had a BBQ where I met many of my neighbors. A peaceful and serene escape despite being only a block from the nearby tourist hangouts.

Comfortable beds, strong AC, kitchen with everything you need to cook. Property felt safe and secured. Pool was also nice for a dip to cool off with outside shower. And to top it all off, Henri is a wonderfully gracious kind accommodating host. And also extremely funny! If you want awesome vibes and be close to beach with all the amenities definitely stay here. Nothing

- Coco (7/5): Short and sweet - It was clean, simple, pretty quiet. Barking dogs and they stopped at night. Ease of in and out. Henri, the owner, was very nice. I left before breakfast. If you are staying for any length of time, the kitchenette seemed fully stocked. Seemed like those staying there for a length of time were like family with dinner together. I prefer to be out in nature more without walls. That said the gardens and plants were lovely

If you’re fortunate, you might even get to try his homemade burgers at a community BBQ. The incredible staff goes above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect, nestled in the heart of town near shops and restaurants yet set back in the jungle for tranquility, and only a short walk from the beach for wave checks. I’ve stayed in many places in Nosara and this one is at the top of my list.

- Andrea (10/5): Easy access to beach, yoga classes, restaurants, and transportation. - As a solo female traveler, I was very happy to feel safe and welcomed at this property. The cabin was well stocked with supplies for cooking. The AC worked beautifully. The host exceeded my expectations, by helping me in every way that he could. When I had a problem with my ATM card, he helped me to get cash. When I needed transportation, he arranged it. The property is within walking distance to the beach. There are several returning customers and people rent for long periods of time. There is a small grocery store within walking distance. The owner throws a weekly dinner, where he grills delicious meats, and everyone else contributes to the meal. Of course, this helps to create a warm and friendly atmosphere. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone that prefers comfort over luxury.
