• Mayu (6/5): 安かろう悪かろうです。エアビ(民泊)みたいな感じです。まともなホテルに泊まりたい場合は他を当たった方がいいと思います。 - ベネチアにしてはお安く泊まれて良かったです。タオルはふかふかで清潔でした。キッチンも自由に使えて良かったです。 ジャグジー付きでしたが、写真で見たものよりも古めかしく、使う気になれませんでした。 部屋の鍵が開けづらく、特に外から2番目の鍵は内側から鍵なしで開けられず、チェックアウトの際に苦労しました。

• Patrick (8/5): Good Apartment, Good Location, but pack light or hire trolley service - The location was close to transportation hubs. The kichen was pretty complete with full size appliances, and very neat and clean.I loved the private bath outside the room, it is surprising how many noises you hear from the bathroom when room is small, so I actually liked having the private bath outside of the room, and no smells.....YAY!!!! ALso, there was a whole dining table area to have a meal with friends if you wanted. Well, the only way to get to unit was to walk from bus station because even a taxi could get you closer due to canals. So, there are two small bridges you had to climb up and down!!! With our considerable luggage we were worn out and pissed. If we were told there were people we could have hired to bring our luggage over the bridge this would have been o.k. but we did'nt find them until the last day. thankfully they came to take us after check out. The host should have alerted us to this fact, because this made us start off tired and stressed.

• RIPERT (8/5): - Le logement est idéalement situé à l'entrée de la ville, dans une rue calme en bordure de canal. L'appartement est très propre et dispose de tout le confort nécessaire. Petite terrasse permettant de prendre le petit déjeuner dehors. Très appréciable. Le propriétaire à pris le temps à notre arrivée de nous donner un certain nombre d'informations sur le logement et sur Venise.

• Steven (8/5): Well located and comfortable but maybe too many rules - Location was great with secondary passageways and alleys getting you places without the same crowds. As well as being not too far from transport train/bus hub. Ample dining close by and supermarket. Room was spacious. Private bathroom was well appointed although not ensuite. Jenny was very pleasant and helpful. Kitchen was there to be shared. The bedrooms were connected to communal dining and kitchen but we seldom encountered another guest. However, there were rules associated with noise in stairwells and closing doors in particular (even though it was probably children from other apartments playing in hallways and making stairwell noise. Microwave was okay to use but not stovetop. There was a flimsy outdoor furniture table and chairs in kitchen which looked like the place to sit and not dining room. On first encounter with chair in kitchen, one of the slats broke under me. I brought this to attention of managers and the broken chair was replaced with a bit better outddoor chair but the other dangerous one was not. I could have gone right through. The feeling I had was that you are welcome but not too welcome. There were four keys needed from the front door into the apartment and an extra one for private bathroom. Good for security but several of these were modern secure ones that made noisy double clacking when opening or closing meaning that going to the bathroom at night meant that your partner was woken. I took it that there were complaining neighbours which made it a bit delicate when entering or exiting.

• Cristina (9/5): Great stay, I would choose this apartment again - Jenny is greating, she let me makes the check in early, so was very nice, she gives you a lot of tips about Venice. Very easy to get there from the train station, like 12/15m walking (or more, because you gonna stop to take photos, ahaha). The kitchen have coffee and tea facilities, have fridge to put your things if you want (was nice for me because i eat fruit and yogurt for breakfast), you could not cooking, but have a microwave... The entrance to the building (the first one to the courtyard, then there is another one to the apartment, there is an elevator) doesn't look good, but Venice is full of buildings like that, it's part of its charm...don't be intimidated. Is a safe street and quiet but you can easily walk to everything. My room was number one, the one with a red painted wall (the bathroom is more far away from the room, side the kitchen, but already know this, no problem at all, you have a bathrobe, and this bathroom is newer, big, very nice)... The only thing i didn't like, there was a smell of damp, in fact there was damp behind the heater next to the window, if you have respiratory problems, choose another room (the others don't have, Jenny say they try to fix, because there is a problem in the terrace, and Venice i know is very humid, but the smell bothered me a lot, and only in my last day i discovered where it comes from, and i stay there 4 nigths),that's because of this i don´t give 10...but everything is cleaning, the room is big, have air conditioning and two wall heaters, a very comfortable mattress and pillows. I recommend the neighborhood, is quiet, safe, more local people, few tourists, nice places to eat in Campo Santa Margherita, dinner, breakfast, have a drink...In Dorsudoro at the end of the day people go take some aperol spritz and eat some cicchetti (go to Osteria Ai Pugni and Cantine del Vino già Schiavi-enoteca, outside is writen Vini al Bottegon, this ones have nice prices and they are very good). They helped me get from the airport and a late late checkin when the airline c - This was a lovely, clean, and quiet property close within walking distance to St Marks Square and many other sights. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. I highly recommend staying here and I would come back when in Venice again.

• Vincent (8/5): Very good - The host was friendly and very welcoming. Location was great, close to the train station and to the main path going from the station to Piazza San Marco from the south, but at the same time the building is accessed through a more quiet street. There were plenty of breakfast options nearby and Campo Santa Margherita was only five minutes away. Getting to the property, the apartment and finally the room took some getting used to and a lot of different keys, but that was fine once we got the hang of it. We were not surprised by the separate bathroom, having read reviews here beforehand, but what we didn't really understand is their choice in assigning the bathrooms. All of the rooms have theirs right across the corridor, except ours - it was at the very end of it! It also meant we had to pass in front of the kitchen to use it... far from ideal. We also were lucky to only have one other couple staying at the same time as we did, as all the back and forth in the corridor (and the doors opening, especially) was extremely noisy.

I tried every restaurants and sightseeings that she recommended and I really loved them all! Thanks to her, I could enjoy Venice more. Great location. It’s close to the station and famous places. Nothing but great memories! I highly recommend this house. Nothing.

Location was 5 mins walk from main bus station. Best of all was the communication with host. I arrived late at night because I had to deal with my lost luggage at the airport. I didn’t have time to buy a local SIM card. I communicated with host via emails. She was worried about my travel from the airport and collecting the keys to the guesthouse after hours. She went out of her way to place the keys in secure location for me and provide additional instructions. Much appreciated. None

Would be great if the external toilet is closer. We stayed in room 1, external toilet is around 3-4 rooms further.

• Lucas (10/5): Close to the stations and really spacious - We decided to stay somewhere close to the bus and train station because of how much you'll need to carry your luggage around, and it was definitely a good idea! The building is in good shape. The room is a great size and the bathroom was more than enough space for the two of us. We also really liked the orientation that Maximo had given us when we arrived- we could it super helpful! We liked having the private bathroom. It was clean and there was so much space. However, we did have to walk down the hallway in order to get there from our room, which wasn't ideal. but overall had no issues

The host was extremely accommodating and talked us through a 2 day itinerary of Venice with recommendations - what a great stay! the bathroom was down the hall from our bedroom but in all honesty this was not a problem for us!
• Jacqueline (10/5): We would definitely return here for a future stay - All the rooms in the "apartment" were nicely decorated including the bedroom which was large. There was no breakfast included with the room however we had access to the kitchen and the necessary to make tea and coffee. We also could put our items in the fridge. The private bathroom outside of the bedroom is just a bit inconvenient but it was of a decent size and very nice also. We were well received at the time we agreed upon and the host spent some time going over the local map with us. The location is great because it is not far from the vaporetto and bus station and you only have two bridges to cross to get to the apartment if you follow the instructions they provide. The only thing we didn't like is that the floors are really cold so keep your shoes or slippers handy.

• Kendal (6/5): Great location and host - - Location is really good, 5 mins from Piazzale Roma - Jenny is a great host and gave us some great suggestions of places to visit in Venice - As some others have written, the walls in the property were thin so we were kept up at night by noisy guests staying in the room next door. - On one night it was windy and there was a lot of noise of banging metal outside the apartment which made it impossible to sleep. - Had there not been a noise issue we would score this accommodation 8 or 9 out of 10.

• Ariel (10/5): Wonderful place, highly reccomend. - The facilities were very clean and comfortable and decorated very nicely. The location was very nice and easy to get to even with luggage. My only complaint was that the walls were thin and the living room and kitchen areas were shared spaces. We had a loud guest next door but it was not that bad.

A comfortable and spacious room and a modern bathroom. Friendly and flexible host who took the time to talk us through a map of the city. Nice to have a kitchen, which had sufficient equipment for us to use. The room was a bit warm so would have been good to have a fan.

Very close to the train and bus station. Wonderful bed. Hosts are fantastic. It would be a bit difficult to enter and find, especially at night if not met by hosts due to the need for 3 keys and location that requires entrance to the outside and inside buildings.

He gave us detailed suggestions to do in Venice, thank you very much for that. the room was very spacious and you had the opportunity to do everything in the kitchen(coffee, etc,). Being able to leave our luggage after checkout allowed us to enjoy Venice comfortably.

They provided clear directions to arrive from the airport and depart from the train, and it's convenient also the the Vaporetto stop to get around, the train station, and the transit center. They provided us with a recommendation for the nearby Rio Novo restaurant which was lovely, too! We stayed in the "Moon and Lagoon" room and it was a comfortable, clean room. We were looking forward to the jacuzzi tub after a long redeye flight but it was smaller than it appeared in the pictures and very noisy so we didn't use it. Other than that minor detail, everything was great and we'd recommend this as a great, budget friendly and convenient option!

The room was clean,beautiful, comfortable bed, ample space to move around. The kitchen is stocked with basic stuff only but is clean and has a variety of teas. Jenny is approachable and can be reached on her phone for doubts. She sat us down and told us about where to go in Venice, where to eat etc. Loved the experience, full 5 star, going to come back again and stay here

From advice on where to go and where to eat to keeping our luggage safe and making it so easy for us to drop luggage off/ check in at awkward times. Comfortable beds and everything you need for a stay in Venice, ideally situated close to bus services and within walking distance of everything else. Extremely pleased with this find.

Allowing us to check in early and giving us hints and tips for the local area. Has a kitchen dinning area. Each room has there own bathroom. All rooms have keys and safes. Great place to stay.

Food was lovley service was first class. All very friendly. And very reasonable prices. Best lasagne iv ever had.
• carrons2019 (10/5): Amazing home base to explore! - I found Rio Venice on AirBnB and the Red Emotion room my husband and I booked was the most amazing place we stayed on our mini Euro-trip by far! You can use the kitchen, your bathroom is private, and the vaparetto & bus stop is like 5min' walk away! There is also a Prix discount supermarket one street over so we saved a lot of money by making our own food and grocery shopping there! 10/10 would recommend to anyone who asked for an affordable but beautiful and perfectly located spot to stay in Venice! Venice has my heart forever, and I'd definitely visit Rio Venice again if I ever found myself back there!

The bed was extremely comfortable, and everything was spotless. A very cozy and spacious environment. The hostess even greeted me at the door for check-in and gave me suggestions as to what to see in Venice based on my personal interests! I cannot recommend this location enough!!
• Meg6264 (10/5): 1st Timer for AirBnb! - Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Venice! I travel for work, so very picky on accommodations. I was very leary of doing an Air bnb, but couldn’t find a hotel I wanted to stay at. I feel like I hit the jackpot! Super clean rooms and private bathroom. Massimo met us upon arrival and told us what to do for the 24 hours we are here. He responded right away to any questions and has been very accommodating to our travel plans. Highly recommend Rio Venice Guesthouse. It’s quiet, easy to get to,close to great restaurants, and super clean! Also,very secured building.
• dbtgo (10/5): Very cozy place in a quiet neighborhood - Stayed here for 4 nights. The couple who owns this place are very welcoming as they immediately took us in after our flight from Rome. They gave us suggestions on what to do and where to go in Venice and it was very helpful. The place has 3 rooms with 3 private separate bath rooms. Our room was large and a lot of space to move around and it was very clean. It is very easy to go around with the bus and vaporetto stations a few minutes walk and about 15 mins walk to Accademia.
• CMAS_Chicago (10/5): Great spot to stay before a cruise - Why drag your luggage all over Venice, up and down the bridges, when you can stay here, drop your luggage, and go off to explore?! We had never done an AirBnb before and were not sure what to expect in terms of sharing space with other travelers. But everything was excellent. Massimo was so helpful with communications and directions. The pictures online are identical to what you will see at Rio Venice. Our room and bathroom were private to us and both locked. Both were very clean and modern. Great quiet location close to train station, cruise port, and a quick 8€ ride from VCE. Away from some of the craziness of the tourists! Massimo will give you specific directions. All in all a great stay!
• RickT862 (8/5): Great Food - Enjoyed a lovely meal and beer here. Easy access excellent variety and awesome ambience. Meat dishes are superb. The menu caters to all tastes. Price wise, the steins are expensive.... though the beer is very nice... thirst quenching.
• N1369QLjasons (10/5): Rio Venice Review - Fantastic host, Great location, Very close to the train station. The beds were very comfortable. And the suite was very clean. Our only complaint was that we were eaten alive by mosquitoes. But I don’t think it has anything to do with the Air B&B. There are also some pretty good cafés in the area. We would DEFINITELY stay here again!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Venice!!

The room is extremely clean, exactly as pictured and well located for sightseeing. Valentina gave excellent directions, received us at the house and was extremely helpful- giving us a walking itinerary we followed to a T! An absolutely amazing experience! I highly recommend it!!

• roosebeckd (10/5): 100% happy - Very clean, large, modern place, super comfy bed. Pictures are a very accurate reflection. As a woman travelling by myself I felt very safe in the area. The apartment is excellent if you arrive by bus/train. I loved that it seems to be one of the few spots left where there are more locals than tourists (especially students). Great for going out for dinner or a drink at the end of the day and not paying your typical tourist trap prices. Would 100% reccomend!
• The_Reids79 (10/5): Gorgeous room, fab location - This is a high class guest house. 3 large, light and spcaious bedrooms (with your own key) tastefully and stylishly decorated, each with their own lockable bathroom (just down the hallway). We stayed in the Red Emotion room and it was gorgeous. The dining room and kitchen are shared with the other guests - hostess lives off-site but attends every day. the kitchen is very generously supplied with a range of teas and coffees including filter coffee, milk, iced tea, fruit juice and biscuits. It is not possible to use the gas hob (for safety reasons) but there is a microwave, toaster and electric jug. Everything is modern and spotlessly clean. Jenny is a brilliant hostess - so friendly and willing to offer advise. She gve brilliant directions for finding the place and for the best way to get to the Cruise terminal. Location is brilliant for arrival on the train or bus. You do get a bit of a shock when you arrive at the outside of the building and wonder if you have made a dreadful mistake as it looks very neglected, but the building is actually one back from the frontage. Highly recommended. Would stay again in a flash.

They really went out of their way to make sure our stay was the perfect beginning and end to our vacation. They were very attentive and responsive, making communication between us very easy. They gave us recommendations, helped with getting around and were just great to talk to. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone! The location is amazing - right next to the bus station, train station and boat station (super easy to get there). Our room and bathroom looked just like the pictures, which was great. The hosts were amazing - Valentina knows like 6 different languages!! We thank all three of them for an amazing stay. PS: we stayed here twice and can't wait to be back!
• Djbillinghurst (10/5): Lovely apartment and great value - We stayed here on the 4th of June for one night and must say it exceeded expectations. We were struggling to find a decent place to stay in Venice with a private bathroom within our price range, then we found Rio Venice. As it's the only one we could find maybe the standards wouldn't be high but we were very wrong. Firstly the owners (Chiara and Adriano) were very helpful. The week leading up to our visit we had a whatsapp conversation with them telling me all the info I need before our stay. Nice, spacious, clean and air conditioned room. Bathroom was clean and modern. The kitchen was stocked with teas, coffee, cereal, fruit as well as many other bits and bobs which we didn't expect. There were only two other rooms so it was nice and quiet in the living spaces. If we go back to Venice we would definitely rebook here. Recommended
