• Eccard (6/5): Achtung diverse Zusatzkosten (teilweise optional) - ● Die Schiffstation "Guglie" ist in unmittelbarer Nähe (50 Meter), von dort kann man ohne Umsteigen zum Markusplatz oder zum Zug- oder Busbahnhof fahren. Die 1/2/3-Tageskarte kostet 25€/35€/45€ (Stand 05/2026). Die Biennale ist auch ohne Umsteigen erreichbar (ca. 35 Minuten) ● Das Zimmer hatte sogar ein direktes Badezimmer obwohl als "extern" gebucht ● Die Zimmer haben eine hohe Decke, nachts ist es ruhig trotz geöffnetem Fenster ● Beim Check-In muss man viel Zeit mitbringen, es wird erklärt wie die Türklinken und Schlüssel funktionieren und welchen Schlüssel man wie verwenden darf (den Zimmerschlüssel darf man nicht mitnehmen, der Hausschlüssel muss immer dabei sein) und noch einiges mehr. ● Das in Plastik abgepackte Frühstück (in der Beschreibung als "außergewöhnlich" bezeichnet, siehe Photo anbei) bekommt man beim Check-In für den gesamten Aufenthalt. Wenn es nicht reicht bekommt man die Ergänzung nur zu den normalen Zeiten 10-19h wenn man etwas Geduld hat, da die Rezeption nicht besetzt ist. Das Frühstück isst man dann auf dem Zimmer, Kaffee kann man sich selbst aus der Maschine im Gang lassen, die Kapseln dafür bekommt man auch beim Check-In. ● Die in der Beschreibung genannte Küchenzeile hat keine Herdplatten und keinen Ofen, nur eine Mikrowelle. Ist nicht schlimm, aber ist gut es im Voraus zu wissen falls man selbst kochen möchte ● Das Handyaufladen hat nur im Bad funktioniert, obwohl es auch im Zimmer Steckdosen gibt ● Zusatzkosten (Stand 05/2026).sind die Tourismusabgabe (3€/Person u. Nacht, optional 40€ einmalig fürs Zu-spät-Kommen am Check-In-Tag (nach 20h) und optional 5€ für Gepäckaufbewahrung am Check-Out-Tag (Geld wird geholt wo es geht) ● Die Kommunikation gestaltet sich manchmal schwierig durch das hohe Alter des Gastgeberpaares (geschätzt über 80 J.) und nur italienische Sprache bzw. französisch/italienisch gemischt (kein Englisch außer "yes/no"). Die Gastgeberdame hat kunsthistorisches Wissen und mag Murano-Leuchter

• Dariusz (2/5): Nie wieder. - Zum Frühstück bekommen Sie eine Tabllei mit Toastbrot, Kaffeekapseln für Kaffee im Zimmer. Ist kein Frühstücksraum und bei Abreise muss Koffer direkt mitgenommen werden. Mir persönlich hat dort viel nicht gefallen.

• Paul (10/5): Grazie - Abbiamo trascorso un tempo meraviglioso a Venezia. Io e mia madre siamo state accolte calorosamente dalla Signora Eleonora e da suo marito. Ci sono state spiegate con grande chiarezza le regole della casa, che vanno rispettate, perché eravamo ospiti nella loro dimora. Il palazzetto è splendido: i mobili, i quadri e tutti i magnifici oggetti d’antiquariato ci hanno fatto sentire pienamente l’atmosfera autentica di Venezia. Anche la posizione è perfetta. La Signora Eleonora parla italiano e francese, e abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo il vero spirito locale del luogo e della casa. Ai futuri ospiti consigliamo di leggere attentamente la descrizione e le regole della casa, che meritano di essere rispettate. Un endroit honteux pour Venise PERSONNE allergique ou asthmatique vraiment pas pour vous. Une très grande déception. Un accueil dans une très grande salle,avec un bordel inimaginable ! De la poussière en veux tu en voilà!! Sur Booking j'avais pris petit déjeuner compris, il était minable! Pour 6 petit déjeuner voir la photo. Pendant notre absence, ils sont entrés dans la chambre deux fois pendant notre séjour, et certainement pas pour le ménage.

• Alle Roelof (7/5): Prima uitvalsbasis voor een paar dagen Venetië 🇮🇹 - Lieve vrouw die geen woord over de grens praat, maar ons wel met haar hele ziel en zaligheid heeft rondgeleid door het huis en de bijbehorende tuin. Voor de prijzen die mevrouw rekent voldoet dit prima. Ondanks dat er in eerdere reviews hierover ook al is geschreven, en door de verhuurder hierop is gereageerd ben ik van mening dat er een betere beschrijving in de tekst moet komen inzake het ontbijt. ( het ontbijt ligt standaard klaar op de kamer en bestaat uit: cupjes yoghurt, vacuüm verpakt brood en cupjes jam en een pak koeken. Ik ben van mening dat je in Italië lekker de deur uit moet gaan en onderweg een lekker kop koffie met een broodje moest bestellen. Wellicht een aanpassing in de tekst van de accommodatie doen?

• Lorenzo (8/5): - Essendo di fronte all'attracco dei traghetti, la posizione era molto comoda anche per me che dovevo andare al Lido ogni mattina. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo e camera spaziosa e adeguata alle aspettative. Apprezzata la presenza di lavandino, fornelli e stoviglie in camera. Il palazzo è un edificio storico bellissimo; peccato di conseguenza che sia in alcune parti un po' trascurato (anche se riconosco che per un B&B a conduzione familiare sia magari difficile tenere alla perfezione un edificio così grande). Sulla prenotazione, però, non mi sembra sia indicato che le pulizie di camera e bagno non avvengono tutti i giorni, cosa che per me comunque non ha rappresentato un problema.

The hosts don’t speak any English and we didn’t speak any Italian. I told them with my google translate several times but they continued to talk to us in Italian and acted like we should know what they were saying. I would not stay there again.

Piękny obiekt a napewno kiedyś wielkie pokoje, teraz poprzedzielane karton gipsami aby zrobić więcej tzw.pokoi. W pokoju szafa a w niej lodówka. Reszty nie można było otworzyć, ale kiedyś tam była mini kuchenka i zlew. Teraz pozamykane z oszczędność.W przedpokoju ekspres malutki na kawę, brak czajnika ( udzielono mi odpowiedzi że ludzie zostawiają włączone i może być pożar) Żenada. Nawet kapsułki zniknęły po 2 dniach, Żenada. Nie polecam. Mógłbym jeszcze opisać wejscie przez główny pokój właścicieli. Takie nieporządku w zyciu nie widziałem....szok.

• María (7/5): - Lo principal la ubicación, que mejor no puede ser. Cuando reservé vi los malos comentarios y estuve con la duda de cancelar la reserva hasta último momento. Pensaba que no podía ser tan malo y no fue tan malo al final. La verdad que la primera impresión es horrible. La mujer de primeras tiene un carácter rudo, te insiste de no muy buenas maneras que no pierdas las llaves (entendible porque es su casa, pero no son las formas) y te da un recorrido de una hora de reloj por la casa, enseñándote a abrir y cerrar las puertas. Quitando esto nuestra estancia fue bastante buena. - Teníamos una reserva de habitación con baño privado fuera de la habitación y nos la cambió por otra con el baño dentro sin nosotros pedirlo , porque íbamos con un niño. - El matrimonio muy cariñosos con el peque. - La habitación muy silenciosa. Nuestra estancia fue bastante buena! - Las formas de la mujer el primer día (el resto muy agradable) - El recorrido de una hora de reloj por la casa, donde te enseña a abrir y cerrar puertas.

The owners were a little overbearing. Like staying at your grandparents house. Lots of idiosyncratic rules that you need work with. Understandably so since the place is full of priceless antiques. Bed was old and not very sturdy which limited romantic activities ;)

Pokoje dość ciemne ale na plus łóżka całkiem wygodne. Na początku naszego pobytu napotkaliśmy spory problem z dogadaniem się z starszym państwem, nie rozumieli oni żadnego innego języka niż włoski. Ani angielski, ani polski, ani niemiecki zupełnie się nie sprawdzał, potem staraliśmy się pozyskać od Państwa podstawowe informacje korzystając z google translate, ale to było bezcelowe, iż po prostu nie chcieli się dogadać. Jeśli chodzi o pokój, to nie było źle, z to dość ciemno i ponuro, jak się okazało na miejscu PŁATNA klimatyzacja, brak WIFI, chociaż na naszej rezerwacji przez booking podobno miała być normalnie dostępna klimatyzacja :// Kolejnym dziwnym dla mnie wymysłem było to, że Państwo rozkazało, że jest kategoryczny zakaz wynoszenia kluczy od pokoju na miasto i, że muszą zostawać na wieszaczku przy wejściu. Na początku pomyślałem, że może się martwią o to aby ich nie zgubić, ale było to złudne. Pod naszą nieobecność wchodzili do naszego pokoju (nie aby wynieść śmieci, albo coś dołożyć) tylko myszkowali. Raz nawet zapomnieli wyjąć klucz z drzwi i zostawili nasz pokój otwarty na oścież. Wiec potem wychodząc z obiektu zabierałem wszystko co cenne, bojąc się, że coś mi krótko mówiąc zagnie. Kosztowało nas to więcej stresu niż to potrzebne. Kolejną rzeczą która niezbyt nam się spodobała to nasze wykupione "śniadania", jak się okazało: 2 paczki bułek do hamburgerów, paczka rogalików, i paczka szynki na cały pobyt, czekały już w pokoju, niestety nic na ciepło. O kawie bym raczej też zapomniał, według karteczek była dostępna od 8.30 do 10.30, ale raczej była to 9 do 10, potem państwo zabierało kapsułki (o ile jakiekolwiek zostały
• Heike (7/5): - Das Zimmer war wie ein Prinzessinnenzimmer im Bilderbuch: hohe kunstvoll bemalte und stuckverzierte Decken, riesige Murano-Leuchter, antike Möbel. Die Lage in Cannaregio perfekt, Blick auf den Kanal, Fährenanleger direkt vor der Tür. Von einem älteren ausschließlich italienisch sprechenden Ehepaar geführt. Sehr speziell, sehr authentisch, sehr italienisch. Mir hat es gefallen. Der Weg von der Haustür bis zum Zimmer war etwas abenteuerlich, sehr renovierungsbedürftig. Sauberkeit wäre noch ausbaufähig.

La zona de Cannaregio estaba en obras —según nos dijo la dueña—, pero la cantidad de polvo y suciedad en la habitación no podía justificarse solo por eso. Nada más entrar al portal, nos encontramos con un lugar en muy mal estado, con olor a humedad y aspecto de abandono. Las escaleras que llevaban a las habitaciones daban poca confianza y, al llegar a la recepción, nos sorprendió la dejadez del sitio. La dueña fue amable, pero su charla sobre su “palacio” se nos hizo eterna, especialmente porque estábamos cansadas y no teníamos ganas de conversar. La primera impresión fue bastante mala: el ambiente no olía bien, el orden brillaba por su ausencia y todo parecía descuidado. Además, el sistema de llaves no daba seguridad; cualquiera podía entrar en las habitaciones, así que decidimos llevar siempre con nosotras nuestras pertenencias de valor.La habitación tenía vistas bonitas al canal, pero poco más positivo. Había una ducha al lado de la cama y el inodoro estaba fuera, en un espacio diminuto y sin ventilación que parecía sacado de una caravana. Todo estaba lleno de polvo, lo que contradecía lo que la dueña decía sobre las obras. Las toallas eran viejas y no había un sitio adecuado para secarlas: solo un “aireador” que, además, hacía que se llenaran de polvo. Durante los cinco días que estuvimos, nadie limpió la habitación ni cambió sábanas o toallas. Nos pareció una gran falta de higiene. Un día incluso cortaron el agua desde las 9:00 hasta las 10:30, lo que nos impidió asearnos. La dueña lo vio anunciado en un cartel y nos dijo que “no era nada”, cuando lo lógico hubiera sido avisar a todos los huéspedes. El alojamiento estaba sucio, descuidado y sin buena gestión. La comunicación con la dueña era difícil y la seguridad insuficiente. No lo recomendaría

• Anastasia (10/5): - Wonderful stay in the heart of Venice! The location is absolutely perfect — everything is close by and easy to reach. It’s just a short walk from Santa Lucia train station and Piazzale Roma. There are supermarkets (Despar, Coop) nearby, cozy cafés, and nice restaurants with reasonable prices (unlike the touristy center). Beautiful churches and charming little streets are all around. The apartment itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay — a small kitchen with a stove, fridge, and microwave, reliable hot water, and great heating when it got chilly. It was perfect for having breakfast in the morning and dinner at home after exploring the city. The apartment owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. The owner even played the piano for us in the common hall — it was truly magical. The interior is full of character: antique furniture, elegant chandeliers, and a lovely view from the window. We felt as if we were living in another era — in the Venice of a century ago. A perfect place to explore the city by day and rest peacefully at night. Highly recommended! ❤️

Stairs to get to the room. Was a little challenging with large bags. Description on booking.com site was not clear that it was a bed and breakfast accommodation.
• Javiera (1/5): Mala experiencia - Cercanía mala experiencia en este hospedaje, partiendo con que uno entra y se encuentra con una puerta y una sala a mal traer (polvo, suciedad y oscuridad) en la sala del piso 1, el hospedaje no tiene ascensor y es en el piso 2, además al entrar hay muchas sillas, ropa colgada, muebles en el living, me imagino que de ellos mismos, menos mal no vimos arañas, pero se veía mucho polvo Quien nos recibe es una abuelita que solo habla italiano, lo primero que nos dice es que tengamos cuidado con los muebles, por las maletas de una mala forma, (nuestro contexto es que nosotras llegando del aeropuerto bien temprano en bus al hospedaje caminando con maleta de 23 kg, 10kg más artículo personal, pasando por mil escaleras, sin energías para nada) y con sueño, queríamos puro pegarnos una siesta. Posterior a ello la abuela, nos hace un “tour” por el baño privado, que es a parte (lejos de la habitación) con una llave exclusiva, que no podíamos llevarla consigo, sino que había que dejarlo en un punto estratégico, todo tenía sus condiciones, nos hizo mil instrucciones sobre las puerta(hacerle doble candado, etc) Sobre los delincuentes que podrían robarse todo, nos mostró su jardín, la verdad no teníamos ganas de está súper charla Habitaciones con iluminación, sin vistas significativas, aseadas, pero el desayuno un desastre, panes, mermeladas individuales, queques y yogurt para esos 3 días, no hay tostador, ni fruta, todo esto lo deja en la habitación, en una mesa.

Además, es un punto estratégico para explorar tanto la ciudad como sus alrededores. La casa tiene un diseño con mucho encanto, fiel al estilo italiano, lo que le da un carácter especial y agradable a la estancia. El trato recibido podría mejorar. Sería deseable una atención más cordial y una comunicación más clara respecto a ciertas indicaciones importantes. Esto contribuiría a una experiencia más fluida y satisfactoria para los huéspedes. Sería una experiencia más amena.

• Krajčík (1/5): - Nic Ubytování neodpovídá fotkám, paní majitelka ani majitel neumějí anglicky a ani tam neproběhla žádná snaha, pani na nás házela jen samé nepříjemné pohledy. Přesto že jsme pani v Italštině vůbec nerozuměli proběhl hodinový přednes i s ukázkou jak zavírat dveře a kolik dek máme na pokoji. Vstupní hala do ubytování odpovídala spíše sklepu a recepce byla skladiště. Nic nebylo čisté, klimatizace nefungovala ani jsme k ní nedostali ovladač, natož že byla placena i snídaně by se spíše dalo říci že snídaně nebyla, na pokoji byli položeny polotovary které už prošli expirací. Při vstupu do pokoje nás leda tak přivítali komáří rodinka. Měli jsme další záhadné dveře v pokoji které záměrně blokoval stoleček. “Koupelna” znamená sprchový kout vedle postele a záchod musíte sdílet s dalšími hosty včetně majitelů. Do pokoje má přistup vlastně každý jelikož jsou klíče volně dostupné jelikož je zákaz je brát kamkoliv s sebou.

• Michael (7/5): Sehr gute Lage und Ausstattung, lassen die sprachlichen Probleme und Reinigungsmängel im Hintergrund - Die Unterkunft liegt an einem der schönsten Kanäle, zentrumsnah und doch relativ ruhig. Es sind Anlegestellen der Vaporetto in der Nähe und viele Restaurants am Kanal. Man ist schnell an der Außenkante der Insel und kann Abends immer einen schönen Sonnenuntergang beobachten. Die Vermieter sprechen kein Englisch. Die Reinigung lässt zu wünschen übrig, es war sehr staubig.

• Wolfgang (3/5): - Lage ist Top. In allen Zimmern befinden sich Leuchter aus echtem Muranoglas. Allerdings in sehr schlechtem Zustand und ungepflegt. Zimmer unsauber. Die Wirtin ist nicht sehr freundlich. Hat anscheinend große Angst um ihre Schlüssel. Wenn man reinkommt befindet man sich in einer Art Lagerraum. Da steht alles Mögliche unaufgeräumt, kaputt und dreckig rum. Sehr interesant. Aber nicht seh wohnlich. Die Duschen befinden sich zu Teil nicht in den Zimmern.
• sabrina (3/5): A fuir !!!!!! - L’emplacement c’est tout ! Cet établissement n’est pas du tout rassurant. Un accueil très particulier qui ne met pas en confiance… arnaque pour le petit déjeuner ! Surtout ne prenez pas cette option ! Chambre sale… on doit laisser la clé de notre chambre à la porter de tout le monde ! Elle nous explique comment fermer et ouvrir une porte, comment éteindre la lumière et fermer une fenêtre… 🤦‍♀️ La dame est très froide… fait limite peur… 45 min de visite pour une chambre… 🤦‍♀️ nous étions pressé de partir dès notre réveil et on appréhendait de rentrer dans l’établissement le soir… aucun accueil pour le départ… très déçu… c’était mon point négatif de ce voyage…j’aurais dû lire les avis avant de réserver…. 🤦‍♀️

Muori selitti ummet ja lammet italiaksi ja kierrätti jopa parin neliön puutarhan joka sentin. Hermot meinasi mennä. Käytävällä oli kylpyhuone ja WC. Olin wc:ssä pesemässä hampaita, kun mies tuli huutamaan italiaksi. En ymmärtänyt mitä asia koski, niin tuli huutamaan uudelleen että meillä on käytössä vain yksi kylpyhuone ei kahta?! Koko vierailun ajan oli tunne, että kunhan vaan ei tapaa omistajapariskuntaa.
• Turkan (2/5): Unpleasant smell - The location of the apartment was good. And bed linens were clean. There was a very unpleasant smell in the room. Most likely, it was because the shower cabin was placed directly inside the room. The odor was really disgusting, and it attracted so many mosquitoes that it became extremely difficult to sleep. Also, this important detail was not mentioned in the listing: the hosts (an elderly couple) live in the same house. We were told that they go to bed at 9 PM and asked us to be quiet after that time. It felt absurd to have such restrictions in a place we paid for to enjoy our holiday. Overall, the bad smell in the room, the mosquitoes, and the strange rules had a very negative impact on our stay. I would never go back there again.

• Rawan (7/5): L’emplacement est parfait mais l’hôtel je regrette. - L’emplacement est très bien. Le personnel sont trop sur le dos et désagréable quand ils parlent « pas le monsieur », la chambre n’est pas propre du tt des étoiles d’araignée et des moustiques par TOUT, la salle de bain est loins de la chambre et pdt la nuit ça fait peur, la propriétaire elle répétait sans cesse que « c’est sa maison » alors qu’on a payé pour être là, on est pas venu gratuitement… bref si vous cherchez un endroit proche de Venise oui, mais faut oublier le confort et la tranquillité d’esprit dans la chambre, et si vous êtes maniaques je vous déconseille vraiment.
• Claudia (8/5): Zu Gast bei Einwohnern der Stadt - Eine Unterkunft mit dem Charme der Stadt. Sie wohnen bei Venedzianern die Teile ihres Hauses Touristen zur Verfügung stellen. Eigentlich ein Geheimtipp. Dabei sollten Sie nicht zu hohe Erwartungen an alles haben. Unser Bad war über den Flur, die Glaslüster im Raum abgeteilten Raum etwas eingestaubt und die Türen bewegen sich nicht geräuschlos. Die Ausstattung gab alles wichtige her und entsprach den Bildern. Das Haus hat voll den Charme von Venedig. Preis/Leistung passt und ich bin sehr froh dort gebucht zu haben.

• Mariana (8/5): Советую это место тем, кто хочет бюджетно провести отпуск и насладиться Венецией. Это недалеко от центра, рядом остановк - Расположение отеля отличное. Нас никто не беспокоил. Цена отличная. Хозяева очень приятные люди. К сожалению был ремонт мостовых, это портило вид и шум перфоратора мешал спать, однако это конечно же не вина владельцев. В отеле было очень холодно, мы попали на несколько дождливых дней и вечером было невозможно холодно,так как здание имеет толстые стены и много мрамора оно вообще не нагревается. Отопление не работало, не было возможности просушить мокрые вещи ,возможно это дорого для владельцев отапливать летом.

Darum trotz größerer Einschränkungen empfehlenswert. Die Unterkunft ist doch heruntergekommen; im "Empfangsraum" steht Gerümpel. Die Gastgeber sind älter und die Dame des Hauses voll länglicher Erklärungen. Dss Frühstück steht im Zimmer bereit und besteht aus Toast, billigem Süßgebäck und Marmeladetöpfchen, billigem Joghurt; dazu Kaffee und Tee aus einer kleinen Maschine.

• Constanze (9/5): Wir lieben alte Häuser deshalb war es für uns ein Traum - Der altehrwürdige Palazzo - die Lage nicht weit vom Bahnhof und am Canal - die Aussicht auf den Canal - die unglaublich großen wertvollen Glasleuchten - die antiquarischen Möbel - die Seidenvorhänge - die grandiose Deckenmalerei - dass das Badezimmer am Zimmer war - die Marmortreppe, auch wenn alt und brüchig - der Balkon den man vom Salon aus betreten durfte - dass wir bereits um 12 Uhr einchecken durften… -
• Laith (2/5): Overly pedantic grandparents renting their own home, NOT WORTH A STAY. AVOID - Location was good. Dirty, towels had blood stains, bed sheets were stained, floors were covered in dust. The fridge barely worked, and there was mouldy food left in it from previous guests. Process of leaving room key in the apartment means there is no privacy, and any other guest can take the key and enter your room (this seemed to be an issue for another guest based of the reviews as they had items stolen) - we thought this would be ok as there are lockers in the room, until the host informed us we are not allowed to take the key for the locker as well… They are so overly pedantic about everything, it is because they are renting rooms of their house to you, and they want it to be treated like their house. We can’t touch anything, there were 4-5 sets of keys which we all had to leave in the exact same location. The wifi did not work at all in the room - 0 connection, but they advertised there would be wifi. Looking back, it is stated that there is “wifi in public areas” so this may be a reason (this is easily missed information as well), however there is no where to sit in “public spaces” - it was cluttered with furniture and everything was covered. False advertising. They said in the very very fine print of the contract that aircon was an extra charge, intentionally misleading people because no one reads that. The room was so hot and so loud with the windows open, we could not sleep from the noise outside. We also were attacked intensely by mosquitos the first night because of the open windows as the hosts forgot to put mosquito repellent in our rooms on the first night and when I went to awake them at 9pm, which is still early, there was no response. Upon checkout, at 10:03, the host was in our room, grabbing bags, and signalling to an invisible watch on her wrist for us to hurry up, even though we were literally carrying our bags out. We checked out at 10.07. She was rude and the place was disgusting. Not worth €5 a night.

• Rebecca (1/5): Worst ever accommodation - The location is good. Everything else was extremely disappointing. The hosts were both rude and unwelcoming.. They made my daughter feel so uncomfortable that she cried. They gave us no privacy entering our room when we were out and told us off for locking our belongings in the wardrobe and taking the key out with us. The towels were very rough. The floors were dusty. The quilt had no cover. It took an hour to check us in. The pictures don't match what you get. Breakfast was a joke! A yogurt in the fridge or a croissant in a plastic bag. The male host sat outside whilst we were in the shower! DO NOT STAY HERE! The worst experience I've ever had and I have back packed a lot!!

• Sylvia (7/5): - The location was perfect, about 10 minutes walk from the train station which was super convenient. The views from our room of the canal were unexpected and made it extra special. The facility itself was a charming 1500s villa. As many have previously mentioned the host does not speak any English which made the 45 min walk through as we checked in quite difficult and somewhat of a game of charades after a very long day of travel. I think the host and facility could benefit from a translated binder of rules and instructions like many other international bed and breakfast locations I’ve stayed at for greater ease of the host and patrons. Although the host did make fun of my boyfriend’s shoes and scoffed at us several times I found her overall to be pretty charming and after the first introduction at check in we didn’t really see her again for the duration of our stay. The place is decorated with old/antique fixtures and furniture which is again quite charming but also as others have mentioned quite dusty at times transferring to our clothes and coats a few times during our stay. The bedding was comfortable and we slept well but the towels although stated in other reviews by the host to be cleaned by an industrial cleaner were old and hard to the touch (crunchy). We joked that it was like an exfoliation after our shower. Needless to say they are ready for an upgrade and perhaps a new cleaning/laundry service. The bathroom is detached from the room which was expected and didn’t bother us too much as we were used to this setup from other stays in Europe. Overall we enjoyed our stay and spent minimal time in our room outside of sleeping so it suited our needs. We enjoyed our stay and although we likely would not stay here again we enjoyed the memories we made and came away with some fun memories of both the charming estate and its host.
• Melanie (4/5): - L'emplacement Tous les commentaires disent vrai ... la propriétaire est revêche et d'hygiène douteuse ! 45min pour expliquer comme ouvrir et fermer les portes et allumer les lumières, et dès qu'on pose une question ou que l'on fait une remarque, on se fait reprendre ! Le lieu pourrait être beau et agréable mais il est plutôt mal entretenu et mal aménagé... les meubles sont beaux mais recouvert de torchon ou taies d'oreiller pour les protéger... des napperons seraient plus appropriés ! L'annonce annonçait un micro-ondes mais elle m'a fait tout un sketch pour me dire que c'était payant et qu'elle me faisait un cadeau pour y avoir accès... la cuisine est un placard fermé ! Les lieux communs sont encombrés et sans possibilité d'en profiter ce qui est bien dommage... Tenir un b&b c'est aussi aimer recevoir et mettre ses hôtes à l'aise et c'est loin d'être le cas ! Tout n'est que contrainte, reproches et remarques ... Bref, on est vraiment peu resté dans le logement ... ma fille de 10 ans de voulait même pas croiser la propriétaire... son mari était lui plus gentil ...

• Sergei (10/5): Comfortable accommodation in a medieval palace - Those who write bad reviews about this place don't understand where they are staying. This is not a hotel or even a rented apartment. In fact, this is a stay with a family, but you have your own room and bathroom. In this case, you are forced to communicate with the owners of the apartment, but there is nothing wrong with that. The hosts are very nice, educated, kind elderly people. It's interesting to communicate with them, even if you don't know Italian. There were antique furniture in our room, medieval lamps, and paintings on the ceiling. The common room was filled with works of art and antique furniture. I've only seen such things in museums and palaces in Venice. The balcony had a wonderful view of the canal. The room had everything you needed to stay.

• Dagmar (10/5): Authentisch venezianisch - Authentische Wohnung. Lage und Umgebung ideal für einen Venedigaufenthalt. Möchte gerne wiederkommen. Kaffeemaschine und Geschirr standen im Flur, konnten wir aber nicht benutzen, war alles abgedeckt.

No tenia calefaccion y nos dijeron literalmente que si lo necesitabamos, que habia mas mantas en el armario. Por otro lado, las instalaciones fuera de la habitacion no se parecen en nada a las fotografias. Los propios dueños casi nos obligaron a manterner las luces apagadas porque ellos lo pagaban.
