• Gerald (10/5): Sehr angenehme, saubere Unterkunft in der Nähe der Waldakademie Wershofen. - Ich suchte eine gute Unterkunft in der Nähe der Waldakademie Wershofen. Über Booking wurde ich auf die Burgschänke aufmerksam. Mir gefiel die Nähe zur Akademie und die Lage mit der grandiosen Fernsicht. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gemütlich. Das Abendessen im urigen Restaurant war sehr lecker. Empfehlen kann ich das "Schnitzel vom Eifelschwein", wobei auch vegarische Gerichte auf der Karte standen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichlich und das Personal sehr aufmerksam. Insgesamt kann ich die Burgschänke nur empfehlen und komme garantiert wieder. Das ich nicht schon früher dort war.

Das Bett war für mich zu schmal und die Bettdecke zu dünn für die frostigen Aussentemperaturen, trotz Zusatzdecke aus dem Schrank. Mit meiner eigenen Zusatzdecke in der 2. Nacht ging es dann.

Viele Gegenstände stammen aus früheren Zeiten, und wurden liebevoll zusammengestellt. Es werden viele Bücher ausgelegt, die man lesen, aber auch mitnehmen kann. Der öffentliche Nahverkehr ist wenig ausgebaut, sodass man ohne Auto das Hotel schlecht erreicht.

• Sandra (10/5): Einfach schön! - Wir haben eine Nacht in der Burgschänke verbracht und uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Unser Zimmer hatte eine herrliche Aussicht ins Tal, war sehr geräumig und mit wunderschönen alten Möbeln ausgestattet. Das Gasthaus zur Burgschänke ist ruhig gelegen und mit viel Liebe zum Detail wunderbar urig eingerichtet. Besonders gefallen hat uns die gemütliche Gaststube, in der wir (sehr lecker!) zu Abend gegessen haben und sehr freundlich bedient wurden. Wir hatten eine schöne und entspannte Zeit in Aremberg und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen! Nichts 😀

• Mildred (7/5): Jammer - De omgeving De gastvrouw was heel vriendelijk. Bij het ontvangst hebben wij geen uitleg gekregen i.v.b met de stalling van onze fietsen. En s' avonds ging om 22.00 u het licht uit en moest iedereen naar hun kamer gaan, ook al hadden ze nog een volledige consumptie staan.

Großartig und super lecker. Dann haben wir noch das Handy vergessen und mussten wieder zurück nach 5km wandern. So nette Besitzer, sie haben uns dann zurück gefahren an unsere Wanderstelle. Mega!!!!
