CHARLINE (1/5): - Reservamos este hotel específicamente por la piscina, pero al llegar (a última hora de la tarde), estaba reservada para una fiesta de cumpleaños. No nos informaron de esto durante el proceso de reserva. Lo intentamos de nuevo a primera hora de la mañana siguiente, pero estaba cerrada (la piscina no está dentro del hotel, sino al otro lado de la calle).

lore (7/5): - De gastheer was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Hou er rekening mee dat het zwembad niet in het hotel zelf is. We werden na boeking wel eerlijk verwittigd dat het in onderhoud was, dus we hebben het niet gebruikt. De kamer beneden was redelijk muf en ook wat verouderd. Er waren muskiennetten en de kamers konden niet voldoende muggenvrij gehouden worden.

Nat (9/5): Short good stay - Nice little hotel in Leticia, where we only stayed one night before starting our boat journey! Staff were super friendly and helpful. We used the pool which was amazing as it was super hot!
Katrin (6/5): Good for one night only. - The bed was big and very comfortable. There was a AC that worked very well and a smart TV with Netflix and YouTube. The owner Felipe was very friendly and kind. It’s perfect for a night’s rest. There is a fridge and water available during the stay. They offer laundry service although it’s quite expensive at 15K per kilo (we were paying half of that price in Cocora Valley at an actual launderette). The place is around 15min walk from airport and 10-15 minutes walk to the centre. There is a big supermarket around the corner and also a bakery where you can get coffee and croissant takeaway. The shower was dirty, no hot water (which I gather is normal in the Amazon but for this price £50 for three people, I would have expected to have a boiler). The place is very run down and in desperate need for renovation. The swimming pool is actually at another property opposite and to gain access you need to call Felipe or the bell. The pool could do with a clean too. Photos on booking look better than reality.

Kitchen had a few utensils Didn’t realise mostly cold water for showers. Shower wouldn’t stop dripping so we had a flooded bathroom all the time

Sophie (7/5): Very good place for a one night stop 🙂 - Philippe was really nice. The room and beds were comfortable. The bathroom was good. We slept very well. The AC and fan were perfect with the hot weather. The common balcony is nice as it’s protected from the rain. The supermarket is super close with lots of fruits and veggies options. Not too much privacy except if you close all the curtains. The swimming pool is not always accessible, you have to call Philippe to open the door. Except the pool there is no nice outside chill area. There is not a lot of options to eat 5minutes away but lot of options 15minutes away.

Elijah (9/5): Great way to relax post-jungle! - The perfect stop after a few days deep in the Amazon. Proper shower, great AC, good wifi, smart tv, etc. It's got everything you'd want to help unwind after some time without amenities. Slightly farther out of town, but not bad at all.

Anonymous (5/5): felt misled by the images of the property and it’s quality. - spacious and very friendly staff. beds were clean and comfortable. the fan fell off the wall almost injuring someone, the photographs of the property didn’t resemble the reality. there were ants in the kitchen. the payment system didn’t work for international guests. the sink was very close to falling over.
Trailseeker (5/5): The hotel needs a lot of renovations - The apartment is big enough for 2 or 3 people. The rooms and the living room have fans. The staff is friendly and helpful. For the Leticia standards, The free WiFi connection was fine, we could do some online work. The whole place needs a massive renovation, everything is old and uncared of. The bathroom sink tap was broken and the toilet blocked so we had to use a plunger all the time. The fridge was old and rusty and constantly leaking, leaving a pool of water and the door didn't close properly. We found a dead cockroach in the fridge. The windows are covered only with a plastic mesh so it felt a bit unsafe to leave cameras and laptops in the apartment, fortunately, we never had any problems.
