• Joanne (10/5): A truly magical stay in Venice - This charming accommodation did not disappoint! We were well aware of the steep, narrow stairs to access our apartment, however the views, atmosphere and privacy at the top were well worth the effort. Our host was amazing with communication and check-in, and provided us additional information with navigating this fun city. All amenities were of high quality, including a communal kitchen and lounge area with snacks, breakfast items, juice, coffee etc provided free of charge. We also had a complimentary bottle of Prosecco which we enjoyed on the terrace. The bonus was indeed the Terrace. We spent our evenings watching the sun set and listening to the bells chime. It was truly magical. Absolute nothing

• Gri (10/5): - The room was big and the bed was really comfortable. The reception was nice. And we appreciate that even when there is no breakfast service, you have all at your disposal to prepare your own breakfast (or have a coffee break during the day). The location is great for tourists. It took us a moment to find the location. We would recommend following the instructions provided thoroughly. We knew it had stairs when we booked the room, bear it in mind because they are a bit steep (but totally worth it).

• Carol (10/5): Venice is my favourite place. This is a great place to stay in the city. - We loved our stay here. We spent two nights prior to our cruise. The location is very central, close to the Rialto bridge and a short walk to St Mark’s and Doges Palace. The room had a wonderful balcony but the best part was the roof garden with amazing views of Venice. Our host provided us with a welcome bottle of Prosecco. Breakfast options were coffee, yoghurt, cakes, cereal and toast. This establishment far exceeded are expectations and we would recommend it to any couple on a Venetian holiday. I wanted to stay forever! Can’t think of anything we didn’t like. There is a steep flight of stairs up to to the reception area, but they did have an option for disabled guests. The exercise was good for us😃

• Chap (10/5): Beautiful View from Terrace! - The jr suite had plenty of room and a large bathroom with a shower. It had a smart TV so we were able to watch several channels including Netflix. A convenient store was just outside the door, including many great restaurants. It was very quiet and there is an amazing view from the top outside deck. I didn’t mind this, but the stair case to the property is quite steep and many steps. Any person with walking issues would have difficulties.

• Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional - This apartment was very comfortable. It was perfectly clean and there was plenty of room. The view from the small balcony was lovely (and through one window there was a view to the main canal). The common rooftop area was exceptional - beautiful views over Venice. Also a really well kept and functional kitchen area. The air con was good and the basic brekky/cakes was a nice bonus - as was the bottle of Prosecco. If you can cope with steep stairs we would thoroughly recommend this accommodation. The stairs really were brutal because they were so steep. An adventure for us but could be a problem for some. The luggage carrier was really great to move our luggage down - wish we had it when we were carrying the luggage up.
• Lauren (8/5): - The terrace is a real perk—absolutely stunning view of Venice. Highly recommend heading up there for sunset. The host met us in person, let us check in early, and took the time to show us around. Water, Nespresso coffee, and snacks were available for free despite the apartments not offering a formal breakfast or food. Only three apartments in total made for a peaceful stay in an otherwise highly crowded tourist city. The stairs up to the apartments are steep, making for a sporty walk up with large suitcases as there is no elevator. We weren't able to fully control the temperature of the AC in the room.

Everything about our accommodation was 5*, including the rooftop terrace which was the icing on the cake (literally!) Maurizio, our host, was very attentive and helpful. Daily room service, including new bottled water in our fridge daily, plus a few little extra treats in the reception area, made our stay extremely comfortable and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Nothing. Everything was perfect!

He made us feel like family. Don’t be phased by door location on the street level when you arrive. When you open the door you ascend up - and you do ascend- into a wonderful space. Maurizio has made a lovely roof garden and you have a spectacular 360 of the whole city right at roof level. What a privilege. We were up there for the sunrise and the sunset. Make sure you’re up there at an hour strike for the bell crescendo! We also loved the Muro restaurant he recommended- lovely friendly staff and great food. Well done Maurizio!

We had to leave early so we were on our own to get the bags downstairs. It was horrible. We are in good shape and there were over 30 steep stairs which were very difficult. I would suggest its a great place to stay if you have a back pack and that's it.

• Sdbroner (10/5): Clean, Modern and Great Location - Excellent communication, service and facilities. Our flight into Venice was delayed and we only arrived in the late evening. Laura was in contact the whole time and even came to meet us at the water taxi to ensure the smoothest possible arrival. Grazie Laura! The facilities themselves are immaculately clean, modern, the room feels quite large, and was perfectly quiet at night time for sleeping. We also appreciated the walk-in shower (not just a bathtub). There was also some complimentary water, proseco, coffee and snacks/cake - and very nice touch. We enjoyed sitting on the rooftop terrace at sunset, which was peaceful and beautiful. The location of the hotel was excellent. Very central and a short walk to most key tourist sites (or to a vaporetto water bus). We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again!

The amenities provided (kitchen with breakfast options, coffee, water, etc.) were great. I just wish we had more time and energy to have taken advantage of the terrace as it was definitely beautiful. The property is close enough to Rialto bridge that we felt very centrally located to the train station and the main square. The restaurants nearby were a little noisy with the windows open as expected, but we didn't hear anything with the windows closed which was all that really mattered to us. The bed was a little firm, but nothing that kept us from sleeping soundly as we were exhausted by the end of each day.

• Krista (10/5): Comfortable, relaxed, welcoming, scenic, clean, and elevated. - This is the ultimate in comfort - details such as a stocked kitchen with coffee, waters, complimentary snacks, and welcome wines, make this feel so homey and welcoming. The rooftop terrace is unparalleled. The location is excellent - close to the train/bus stations yes convenient to walk to the sights. It's just close enough to feel like you're in the central locations yet quiet enough not to feel overwhelmed with crowds. Simply perfect. This was our second stay and we will stay here again and again on future visits to Venice. Nothing! There are absolutely no downsides to this facility. Perfect.

He checked in repeatedly to ensure we had everything we needed and were making full use of all benefits/amenities of the property. The building was fantastic and well maintained, with an amazing rooftop area. The stairs to get up into the building are steep and difficult to get up with luggage.
• Brian (10/5): Hidden gem just close to everything - The roof deck with a view of Venice. The location was quiet but with great proximity to the Rialto bridge and public transport stops on the Grand Canal. The self serve yogurt, fruit and coffee for breakfast was also perfect for me. The room surprised me with how nice it was. This is probably normal for Venice, and it was communicated, but the stairs are steep to get to the place. There is a chair lift, however. This wasn't a problem at all for me, but I am sharing just for further awareness.
• John (10/5): Charming property in an outstanding location - The suite was nicely appointed and cozy. Bed was very comfortable, hot water and water pressure outstanding. Linens were better than most. The weather was not suitable for sitting outdoors, but the balcony in the suite and the property's rooftop are very nice, with a great view from the rooftop terrace. The continental breakfast was very satisfactory. Fruit, yoghurt, breads and juices - all fresh and delicious. Nespresso pods were available without charge throughout our stay - nice touch! The common area includes a full kitchen and was stocked with snacks throughout our stay. Communication prior to and throughout our stay was prompt and clear. Mauricio provided excellent recommendations for restaurants in the area (within a 10 minute walk). The location is ideal, just a 3 minute walk to the Mercato Rialto vaporetto stop, and only 5 minutes from the Rialto bridge. It wasn't a surprise, as it clearly disclosed in the property description, nor was it an issue for us, but there are 50 steps from street level up to the 3rd floor property. The stairs are quite steep and lack a landing or a place to "pause".

• Claire (8/5): Would definitely recommend for the roof terrace alone! - The location was excellent, friendly staff / owner to greet us, free bottle of Prosecco which we enjoyed one evening watching the sunset from the roof terrace - absolutely perfect. There was a very narrow and steep staircase to get in which was the equivalent of almost 3 floors. Quick tricky with a suitcase but manageable for us. There was a selection of cakes and free snacks which was nice, but I have an allergy and it wasn’t clear what things were / ingredients so generally had to steer clear. Some plain bread or croissant would have been great. Also the coffee machine didn’t really work. Overall though it was ideal, nothing that really bothered us at all!
• Aya (10/5): Perfect! - Thank you for the wonderful room! Maurizio, the owner, was an amazing host. When I couldn’t find the hotel, he kindly guided me over the phone. The location, the room, and the view from the rooftop were all perfect—absolutely breathtaking. The hotel has a gorgeous atmosphere that made me feel truly elegant and luxurious. It’s close to the Rialto Bridge, and the vaporetto stop for Burano Island is within walking distance. However, please note that the stairs leading to the room are very steep. I was able to carry my 10kg carry-on suitcase down by myself, but it was not easy. If you have a larger or heavier suitcase, carrying it up and down the stairs alone—especially for a woman—could be quite difficult. That being said, if you put in the effort to climb the stairs, you will be rewarded with a truly amazing room waiting for you at the top. I loved the elegant and peaceful atmosphere of Venice here, and I would definitely stay again when I visit Venice next time!!! Nothing!

• Anna (10/5): Comfortable stay with lovely extra touches in a great location - This is a great place to stay in Venice. The location is excellent - close to the Grand Canal and a vaporetto stop at Rialto Market - but it's also quiet and feels tucked away. Our room was very comfortable with a good mattress and nice lighting. The bathroom was clean and modern, and the rest of the space was well-designed. There was even a private balcony! In the shared part of the property there's a kitchen with a good coffee machine and tasty cakes, a sitting area with comfy armchairs, and a roof-terrace with an amazing 360 view of Venice. And finally - our hosts couldn't have been more welcoming. Highly recommended. Nothing! Everything was great.

Quite a few stairs to access the room. This was fine for us but may be challenging for older travellers. There was a chair lift to help with accessibility if that helps.

Breakfast was not an option on the booking however our host provided yogurt, fruit, cereal and cake. Also in a well equipped communal kitchen there was a selection of teas and a coffee machine. The roof terrace is also worth seeing for the fantastic view. An ideal place to relax in the sun. We loved the location, everywhere we wanted to go was easily accessible. • Conrad (9/5): Great locations to just about everything. Then again, Venice isn't all that vast. - Maurizio was very helpful in getting us settled and with our luggage. There are no elevators although there is a 'personal' lift that Maurizio used on our departure. There are a 34 stairs going up, so pack light. I suppose I should have been a little more attentive when I made the reservations, but I'm happy we came here and would gladly go back again. Still, Maurizio's 'customer service' was always pleasant and helpful in finding sites and restaurant. No elevators... 34 stairs.

• Tara (9/5): Unforgettable stay in Venice! - The location was perfect. Nestled in a cozy area yet In close proximity to the main attractions. The rooftop patio was amazing with incredible views of Venice. Maurizio was a gracious host always smiling and ready to make the stay even more unforgettable. The many stairs were steep and difficult to manage (this would never prevent us from staying again… :)). The shower was small and lacked places to place toiletries.

There's a fabulous rooftop terrace too. Nothing I didn't like but not for people who can't climb lots of steps to enter the property.
• Maria (9/5): A great find - a real gem. - Elegant decor; welcoming communal area; peaceful roof top area with comfortable loungers and seating; friendly and helpful host - a true gentleman. Loved the drinks and food on offer (chilled water, coffee, juice, variety of cakes, yoghurt, muesli, milk, fresh fruit - not forgetting the bottle of wine!). Central location. Be prepared to climb 50 steps as this is on the upper floor (pack lightly!) But, this would not deter us from returning here.
• Callum (10/5): Exceptional - The host Maurizio was outstanding. He brought extra yoghurts to the apartments as my partner mentioned she liked them in passing. He was a all round gentleman and extremely helpful and knowledgeable host when we had questions about the best places to visit. The rooms were extremely spacious and the rooftop terrace absolutely amazing.
• Christine (9/5): A perfect stay in the heart of the city with a perfect host !! - The location could not have been better. The owner was amazing. Such a lovely guy who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The roof terrace was an added bonus where we went most evenings with a drink from our room. The communal kitchen was also a bonus with cereal, fruit , cake and muffins available everyday, all day for you to use. Also a machine for still or sparkling cold water so we could fill up our bottle first thing before setting out. The bed was comfortable but a little soft for our taste and be aware that the stairs up to the accommodation are steep and feel never ending. It’s definitely a good leg work out !! Did not put us off returning if we go back to Venice though as everything else was great.

• Audrey (9/5): Very enjoyable and comfortable - Breakfast was good, very accessible and plentiful The room was excellent and very clean. The host was friendly and helpful Location was good, only 10 min walk from Rialto Bridge Beautiful roof top terrace with comfy seating and marvellous views Unfortunately there are 50 steep steps up to the accommodation, fine for fit and healthy youngsters, not so good for the older guests although the host was very helpful carrying our luggage for us.
