- Nicolo (10/5): Cuore Alpino feels like a home away from home! - Cuore Alpino is the perfect base to explore the beautiful Valle di Blenio. Easy to reach by public transport and a great starting point to go exploring in various directions.
Sara is an incredible host who made the stay extra special: she's super kind, attentive, helpful, knowledgeable and clearly loves what she does. This is also reflected in the house: from the communal spaces to the rooms themselves you can tell a lot of love and care has gone into every detail, there's a lot of character as well as a very high standard of cleanliness. Breakfast is also delicious and locally sourced, and Sara adapted it for us being vegan.
100% recommended to anyone who's thinking about visiting the area, and we'll definitely choose to stay at Cuore Alpino next time we're there. No notes — everything was perfect!

- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the themed rooms, the balcony, the living room, the staircase, the yard, it is a beautiful building and beautifully kept up. I wish we could have stayed longer in order to really relax and enjoy the hotel and the local. The breakfast is delicious and locally sourced, but very expensive.
- Kristine (10/5): We very much hope to be back for a longer stay. - Laura is a delightful host. There is so much attention to detail in her building. Every room has its own theme. The breakfast was amazing. The surrounding stunningly beautiful.

- Noemi (9/5): loved it! - very lovely host! she brought us a water bowl for our dog and was very nice. gave us recommendations where to eat and made it even possible for me to get the breakfast as vegan as possible. only little minus there was no shampoo. I was used to it from other hotels. but it‘s a small thing comparing to the rest which was really really nice!
- Elias (10/5): Exceptional -
- Boris (8/5): It could be a paradise - if not the church bells! - Very good location. 10 min. to the central bus stops, which provides connections to the endless hiking trails in the area, including the famous plateau Greina. Actually, all the clients at the time of our stay were hikers. Spacious room and the bathroom. Enough storage space in the room. Very clean. Sufficient free WiFi. Parking space in front of the house.
Fantastic grounds belonging to the property, with trees providing enough shade even on the hot summer days. We spent a very relaxing day there between our challenging hikes.
Excellent hosts. Sara is very strict about her house rules, but she and her husband made everything they can to make our stay comfortable - well beyond our expectations.
Breakfast is paid separately. Not very exciting, but OK continental breakfast (meaning bread, cheese and jam). Homemade jam from the village was good and we were offered about 10 different sorts. No evening meal options, but a plenty of excellent restaurants in the vicinity. The only -but a major - problem were the church bells. Church bells in the morning are normal in Switzerland. But here it goes well too far.
The pension's building stands next to the church tower, which rings diligently each half an hour - ALL NIGHT LONG. Windows provide good sound insulation, so probably in winter this is not a problem. However, in the hot summer period your have a choice: either suffer from suffocation, or open the windows for some fresh air - and not to sleep because of the bells. At 3 a.m. they ring 3 times, at 5 a.m. - 5 times... And at 6.30 a wake up call guaranteed - 110 times :) One of us is partially deaf - but it did not help either.
If you want to stay here in summer, take care of some sort of good earplugs!
- Halpin (10/5): An unexpected stay turned into a pleasant visit ❤️ - Sara was a marvellous and friendly host. Cuore Alpino is located in a picturesque village. Worth a visit!

leading to nowhere.

- Serge (10/5): Beautiful guest house managed by an exceptional team who is making you feel at home - Beautiful guest house managed by an exceptional team who is making you feel at home. We were greeted by the host, Sara, at our arrival and we felt like knowing each other for life. We traveled with our dog and she was accepted and welcomed like us. A big, fenced, garden around the property allowed us to let our dog off the leash. A simple but excellent dinner is proposed to the guests for a very moderate fee (appetizer, main dish and dessert). Water, beer, wine and more are available at all time in the fridge, as well as coffee and tea. The rooms are very spacious and clean, each with access to a balcony. nothing worth mentioning
- Nadine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Virginia (10/5): cute venue, wonderful staff, amazing breakfast - Really amazing breakfast, warm and accommodating staff, super cute building the only thing was the church bells at 6:30 am but even that was quite beautiful!
