Staff muito gentil, em especial a Débora e Luiz. Comida deliciosa e passeios incríveis.
A experiência foi ótima!
- Tatiana (10/5): Harmony between tourism and Nature - Our holidays wouldn’t have been so special if it wasn’t in Aymara Lodge. Everything is so unique and special, and fits in our dream of how the development of the tourism in Pantanal and in other wildlife areas in the world should be. The staff is absolutely fantastic. And saying that I want to also acknowledge the ones who we didn’t meet and worked to make this experience perfect. The Aymara team should be very proud of what they achieved.
The meals were delicious. Real flavoursome Brazilian homemade style meals. I’ll be talking about that pacu for many years to come. The afternoon coffee and cake was a special treat. For a Brazilian who has been living abroad for more than 20 years, it really reaches deep in my soul.
The tours in the property exceeded our expectations. Every tour comes with different experiences and they are never like the one before. I’ve learned so much and it made me so much in love with this ecosystem. We just wished we could have seen Macaw, the young jaguar that has been seen in the area. I wish I could have stayed for longer, but now we have an excuse to come back, maybe in a different season , and maybe meet Macaw

Ah! A comida estava sempre deliciosa. Nada
- Joseffa Nikitin (10/5): Can't wait to come back - we loved our stay at Aymara Lodge! we felt like in jungle dream - monkeys wake you up, capybaras greet you outside your hut, parrots in the trees... walking around you have the chance to see more animals.
the facilities were all super beautiful. the staff were great, all very friendly, in a good mood and heartwarming.
we chose Aymara because they offered to cater vegan food and they did!
we did 2 safaris, a hike and a night safari with them - all were great! the guides were super sympathetic and knowledgeable. Will miss them! we also did the jaguar tour, which I highly recommended. my life dream came true - we met tapirs. !
all in all I can not recommend Aymara enough. If I come back to Pantanal, no doubt I'd come back. marking the vegan food options would be nice. our room was a bit small for 3 people. mosquito nets would be great. nevertheless - only love for Aymara.

- Webster (10/5): Great spot to spot animals. Staff and guides are super helpful. - Beautiful spot with lots of birds and animals. The staff are super helpful and the food was great! Wish we could have done more unguided activities, but safety is an issue with big wild animals in the area.
- Wim (8/5): GREAT locaties and Nice Lodge forma visit in the pantanel - Beautifull Lodge on a great location. The staf where awesome and the tours we like very much. We did three days and two Nights which was enough in the wet season. Not rondingen that the doos was also awesome. There where a lot of mosquito’s but that is in the game when you visit the wetlands i guess 😂

- Amanda (10/5): Absolutely fabulous on all counts - Fabulous place to stay. Excellent communication from start to finish, staff here are some of the best I’ve ever encountered, more than helpful, guides are very knowledgeable and there is a warmth and kindness seldom experienced. Room was lovely with huge comfy bed and excellent shower. The safaris, canoe, trail and dusk motor were extremely good and we saw jaguars, giant otter, hyacinth and blue gold macaw, howler monkeys, coatis etc etc. The environs are excellent and it has been a wonderful place to spend four nights of our life. The food is very good indeed, with real care taken over its cooking and presentation. Absolutely nothing
- Nikita (8/5): Perfect place to relax, engage with nature, and see some amazing wildlife! - Loved that the guides are passionate biologists that are extremely knowledgable
- David (10/5): Really nice lodge, great guides, exceptional jaguar experience - Great location, guides were passionate, knowledgeable and professional. The rooms were spacious, very clean and nicely decorated. The food was good and varied. The grounds nice and well kept. The jaguar sighting is unique. Pantanal is an expensive wildlife location when compared to South-Africa for example and very expensive when compared to the rest of Brazil. The wildlife is also much scarcer than in African lodges. But it’s an exceptional place to observe jaguars which you can track for hours in the right season. This is truly unique. As long as you know that then go...it’s once in a lifetime experience.
- Fabio (9/5): Superb -

- Manuela (10/5): Perfect :-) - Everyone was very nice, helpful, connected with the nature and sympathetic.
They offered many different tours, so the night tour-which was very interesting and great.
As well the Kanu-tour was wonderful.
Watching all the birds was amazing and the personal knew and could explain all of them.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner were always very fresh and tasty.
A super stay-thank you!
Manu and Alain
- Caitriona (10/5): Incredible-book it - Caio and Bene the guides were so knowledgeable and enthusiastic and really made our time at Aymara special! We loved getting to do canoe, walking and bike safaris, day and night safari drives (some at extra cost but good value!) and we saw such a diversity of wildlife. The jaguar expedition to Porto Joffre is not to be missed-truly a life changing experience to see a jaguar in the wild and, whilst it was a long day and additional cost, was so well organised and very worth it.
The lodge itself is great with fantastic food, friendly and helpful staff, and comfortable and cool rooms (with air con which is very necessary in the Pantanal!). You feel very close to nature the whole time but are also in comfort. As an aside, it was very useful to be able to buy a wildlife guidebook and long sleeved top at the lodge.
Staying at Aymara was the perfect way to see the wonders of the northern Pantanal-I highly recommend. It was all great.
Very minor point would be to clean the pool more often as the water was quite cloudy when we arrived so didn't use the pool until later in our stay when it was cleaner (this wasn't a big deal for us-it was more comfortable to rest inside during the hottest hours anyway!)
- Jo-anne (10/5): Exceptional - Aymara Lodge is set in beautiful grounds with nature in abundance on the doorstep. The staff are wonderful and you be treated like family.
We are already missing everybody.
The food is beautiful & the lodges are homely.
Big shout out to our guide Bene for our being a friend and our big surprise on our last day.
Look no further than Aymara for a perfect stay im paradise!
We will return.
- Jacqueline (9/5): Lovely lodge with great food and attentive staff. - Lovely rooms and comfortable bed.
We stayed 3 nights and saw lots of birds, in particular a family of Hyacinth Macaws in the tree on the grounds of the lodge. There were also monkeys in the trees. The pool was great in the heat, but we did need insect repellent when we got out!
The staff were all very attentive, the guides were all trained biologists and very knowledgeable.
The food was excellent, probably the best we had in Brazil overall.
A great stay. It was fairly expensive.
The safari no longer goes on the Pantaneira, so limited animal viewings.
- Colleen (10/5): Great Pantanal Lodge - Our June visit coincided with unusually cold weather for that time of year and therefore the wildlife was quieter than you would expect. That said we saw plenty during our four days with Pablo and Bene being our excellent guides during that time. The Lodge is beautifully set in bushland and a nearby waterway on which we enjoyed a couple of kayak excursions. The birdlife was plentiful and varied including the resident hyacinth macaws - a very entertaining trio. Plenty of monkey sightings too. Loved our stay!
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clifford (10/5): Wonderful time in the Pantanal! - Great birding and guides; tasty food.
- Bella (10/5): Beautiful location and the staff made it incredible! - We had a lovely time at Aymara Lodge. The guides (Pablo and Caio) were so friendly and welcoming. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the region and it’s wildlife and their enthusiasm made our time at the lodge really enjoyable. The food was nice and there was something for everyone, the service staff were lovely as well. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the location was really beautiful. Everything ran smoothly and overall we had a great time. We were at the lodge at the end of April which is apparently the worst time for mosquitoes. Make sure you bring repellent and clothes to cover up if you plan on visiting during this time.
- Connie (10/5): A lovely, memory making experience. - The Aymara was amazing. It is a very idyllic nestled in the Pantanal. The setting is beautiful with lovely cabins, a restaurant, cozy bar and swimming pool. The food was very good, the staff were very attentive and worked hard to ensure we had a memorable stay. We saw many birds and animals and our guide was so knowledgeable and had a deep love and understanding of his environment. Wha memorable experience for anyone who loves nature. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.
- Mette (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic guides, staff, food and rooms😀 We saw many animals and birds at every tour and at the lodge. We loved staying in the middle of the wild nature at Aymara Lodge👍
