• ANTRONIKI (4/5): disappointing - good location at arrival none was there for checking in and I did not receive any directions beforehand! When calling the host acted like he did not expect anyone. The place was dirty full of dust, the towels and pillowcases were not cleaned and with holes on them. It was freezing cold we had some wood for the fireplace but not a lighter or anything else to use them. I was really disappointed since the reviews before booking it were positive.

• Ieva (9/5): - Very cozy house, you can light the stove and it is very warm in the winter. There was hot water, which is very important. Very convenient for families because there are 2 bathrooms.You just have to be prepared that during the winter period, shops or cafes around may not be open. But the village is very small and cozy for an overnight stay.

• Anastasios (10/5): Quiet and wonderful - Very clean, nice quiet area, it has two bedrooms with shower 🚿, it is near Vouni village and Lofou. The beds are big, the chimney is ok. He gave us free wood and fire 🔥 matches to use it! The small balcony outside is nice as well. Great communication, the house has kitchen as well and everything what you need. The check out is till late. I think everything is perfect, difficult to say something negative. He could give us directions how to open the door 🚪 before we arrive.
• Jack (6/5): Nice place but could be improved - Lovely view, comfortable. Nice that there were two bathrooms. There were a few things: - The apartment initially looked clean but if you looked closer into the corners or under furniture, it was quite dirty. - The kitchen was well equipped but there were no cooking utensils, no spatula (so we bought one and left it), no cooking knives. There was also no salt/pepper or oil, which is nice to have. - Previous guests mentioned a fireplace, however there was no wood - There was a note left with two different wifi passwords, but no information with the name of the network. We eventually found the correct one, but it had no internet for the first 24hrs - It would be good to have more information about the town and things to do in the area. The only thing mentioned was the local winery, which was fantastic and well worth a visit. - I initially had phone contact with the host, so tried to call back about some of the above but was not able to reach, I sent a message on booking.com, however, this was not answered.

• Yordan (10/5): - I have traveled a lot but I was very impressed with the interior: comfortable mattresses, 2 bathrooms, spacious living room with fireplace. We are waiting for snow this winter for skiing.
• Vaclav Rara (9/5): Great apartment - Great apartment. We had two bedrooms with two bathrooms. A very well equipped kitchen. Nice view from big terrace. Very calm. It is in the small village, which can be a positive thing.Parking is limited but can be found it neighbouring area.

• Hadar (10/5): מעולה ומשתלם מאוד - מקום מעולה ליציאה לטיול בהרים. מרחק נסיעה קצרה לסופר גדול. מטבח מאובזר לבישול, מקלחות מעולות, נקי, מארחים זמינים ועוזרים, 2 חדרי שינה ועוד חלל מרכזי גדול, חניה קרובה. אין מזגן בחלל המרכזי אבל יש אח לחימום כשקר, הייתה דליפה קטנה של מים בסלון.

• Marios (10/5): Lovely guest house, lovely village. Definately worth a visit! - We stayed at Xenis' guest house for 2 nights, 3 days . We had the top apt with a big veranda with a view of the mountains and the village. It's clean and comfortable with ac in the rooms , tvs , kitchenette, and everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Clean toilet with shower , toilet and sink in each room, and a wood burner for the winter months . Next to the apt, there is a coffee shop ( kafenio) and the village tavern. The locals are very friendly and hospitable, and the village is beautiful and peaceful, and summer evening strolls are the best . We are definitely going to stay there again soon.

• Beatričė (9/5): Superb - Quality for the price was great, in the middle of a beautiful village, hiking trails around, tavernas to eat, etc. It was clean, beds were very comfortable and the host was nice, easy access to the apartment :) It was very cold in the main room / kitchen until we managed to put the fireplace on (you should bring extra wood with you) and in the summer it might be too hot in this room because of no ACs. Bedrooms were with ACs, so it was warm and cozy.

Nice room on the second floor (but without a key that a little bit strange because there are neighbours at the first floor). Nice balcony with a view on the village. Neighbours with children were very loud, but it is not a fault of the place.
• Anastasios (9/5): Very pleasant and ideal. - Two separated rooms with private shower 🚿 and toilet! The price is so competitive and probably the best in the area. The village is very quiet, there is a big parking area for the car. The village is near to Lofou, Vouni and Omodos. There is a very nice balcony to sit outside. There is hot available water at the shower 🚿 The sitting hall is nice with tv. Every room has a tv too. There is no open restaurant during night or a supermarket, you need to bring food from home. The left ◀️ toilet does not work properly.

• Andrew (9/5): Great place to stay in - The house is spacious with enough room for a bunch of ppl to be in. we were 3 friends instead of 4, but the double beds would've been more than enough. There is also a spacious bed for babies to sleep in, in case there's parent travellers. very clean, you have everything you need.. The owner leaves a bunch of wood for you to burn for heat which is great. The location itself is a bit annoying to navigate and relatively steep. Pillows were uncomfortable, but then again, everyone has different preferences. Although my friends didn't like them either.

• Lior (8/5): Comfortable overnight guesthouse. - We had a quick overnight stay, and the place was exactly what we were looking for. The rooms were nice and equipped with air conditioning, which was very important given the weather during our stay. The shower and the entire room were clean There could be some improvement in providing guidance on how to get to the apartment and retrieve the key, as it was a self-checkout. It took us a little bit of time to understand where we should get the key

• Jonny (10/5): Great place in a great location for visiting trodos and villages. - As a local that lives on the coast this place was fantastic break from seeing the sea every day. I could park outside or just around corner. This place is better than photos and view is great from upper apartment . it was quiet. En-suit showers were piping hot and large. Sheets and towels crisp and clean. Host always helpful and value for money superb. Nice meze at taverna 40m away. So easy to visit troodos villages and waterfall from koilani. Great for a few nights stay. If you are unsure just book it, you will not get much better for your money. This place is 2 floors with 2 double en suit rooms on each floor. The upper has a small living space but the luxury of the views from nice balcony terrace. Downstairs has a larger living space but not the views and balcony. A couple of lights and switches need replacing through wear and tear. As an observayion In the upper apartment 1 bed is next to a window that you have to get onto bed to open and I'd say it's an unsafe height and easy acces if you have small children unattended on bed whilst open. (pic no 4) The mattress was an orthopaedic hard mattress great for some but not for us but it was fine once we got the quilt out to lay on to make it softer. It's not that I didn't like these things. They are just observations that did not make our stay any less enjoyable. Would I stay again. Yes for sure as it exceeded expectations.
• Polina (8/5): It's good - We just needed a place to sleep and take shower. As I understand for Cyprus it's considered not expensive accommodation for a 2 bedroom. It's great that both rooms have their own bathrooms. AC worked, water power was really strong. The owner was very responsive at night when we could not unlock the door. Sorry again for bothering you at night. We thought as it's in a very small village, it'll be very quiet at night but how surprised we were when we arrived back to the accommodation very tired past midnight and discovered loud music playing for like the whole village even those who don't need it... Just next to guesthouse there's this really small cute walking street with a couple of coffee places. So they put a huge speaker outside and the music was playing just 50 meters from our door 🙉 luckily I had earplugs but my friend didn't, she struggled falling asleep for long time. It was Saturday night.

• Michal (9/5): Stayed 1 night on the hike from Troodos to the sea - Apartment was clean and quite spacious. Kitchen is reasonably equipped. Views on the old village are nice. Wi-fi is good. Check-in was not ideal, as I received no info about check-in early enough. Since I was early, so I was waiting for about an hour and half close to the entrance waiting for someone to come. In the end call solved the issue, but some info upfront would save a lot of time. It was quite cold in the apartment. Some light switches were falling apart and basically unusable. Linen could have been somewhat cleaner (some hair). Wi-fi password could be more obviously communicated. Location on the map at booking.com is not correct, use the address.

• Fadi (9/5): all in all, it was very good, calm and clean, loved it - The place was good, clean, small and neat, everything we needed was there (except for sugar I guess, better for the health to drink tea without it anyway) At some point I felt a bit worried about the fact that the linked house might have access to our side, this happened actually after my kids were able to open the connecting door and were in the other side (the other house that we aren't renting).

• Andrejs (10/5): Simple but super cozy place in a magical village. - We absolutely love this place. We came to Koilani two years ago, to visit Aya Mavri, the winery that has become our favorite Cypriot winery. We stayed at Xenious Guesthouse and now, exactly a year later, we are staying here again because this place is one of the best places and could be the cheapest in the entire country. It is perfect for a family or group of four people, everything works and the best part here is the balcony. We just love chilling here, eating local fruits and drinking the local Aya Mavri’s wine. It is extremely romantic and cozy, especially at night when the village goes to sleep. We absolutely love it! However, something to consider… there is a brand new restaurant, right in a front of the apartment (that was not there last year). The food there is pretty good and cheap. They play music pretty late but tend to turn it off around the midnight. Perhaps, the owners and the neighbors can work out the quite hours with them in future. But since it is brand new and it is extremely hot during the day, it’s understandable why the locals stay up late. But it does really bother us and as the last time, we decided to stay one more night. It is extreme hard to leave this simple yet magical village. The fridge seems not to get too cold but it could be due to the extremely high 30-35C temperature outside.

But we were a family of 5 and the lounge was pretty small to fit us all in but would be perfect for two or 3 people. The owners were great and communication was good overall. The bedrooms were roomy and the view from the balcony was exceptional. The log burner was very welcome in the evenings. Unfortunately what let it down was a loud humming noise throughout the night. It made sleeping soundly quite difficult.
