• Andréa (10/5): - The hosts were very welcoming, super friendly, and willing to help us with anything related to our stay in the city. The water pipes that go to the bathroom pass through the room we were staying in, and sometimes there were noises when using the bathroom. But nothing serious or that spoiled our stay.
• Bea (1/5): Experiencia muy decepcionante. Trato inaceptable por parte de la propietaria - Viajamos una amiga y yo y teníamos pagadas tres noches en este alojamiento, de jueves a domingo. Lamentablemente, la experiencia fue tan desagradable que considero necesario dejar constancia para que otras personas no se lleven la misma sorpresa que nos llevamos nosotras. Sinceramente, no entiendo cómo este alojamiento puede tener buenas valoraciones teniendo en cuenta la mala educación y la falta absoluta de profesionalidad de la propietaria. Antes de llegar, intenté llamarla un par de veces porque no habíamos recibido información clara sobre cómo realizar el check-in y queríamos confirmarlo antes de desplazarnos. No solo no respondió a mis llamadas, algo que puedo entender si estaba trabajando, sino que al llegar me lo echó en cara, diciéndome que la había estado llamando y que no tenía tiempo para mí porque tenía que trabajar. Si una persona ofrece alojamiento a huéspedes, lo mínimo es atenderles correctamente o facilitar la información necesaria con antelación. Además, cuando buscamos alojamiento nos fijamos expresamente en que la política indicaba que no se admitían mascotas, algo importante para nosotras porque mi amiga tiene pánico a los perros. Al llegar, preguntamos por ello y la propietaria nos dijo que tenía un perro y un gato, asegurando que esa información aparecía en la descripción del alojamiento. Esto no era cierto, ya que lo habíamos revisado previamente precisamente por ese motivo. Cuando le expliqué que mi amiga tenía pánico a los perros, su reacción fue reírse en nuestra cara y responder: “Ese no es mi problema”. Una contestación absolutamente fuera de lugar, fría y carente de cualquier empatía. Le pedimos simplemente que nos indicara dónde aparecía esa información, para saber dónde deberíamos haberlo visto. En lugar de aclararlo, nos dijo que no iba a perder más el tiempo con nosotras, que no quería alojarnos y que nos fuéramos de su casa.

• Károly (8/5): Megfelelő szállás egy Amszterdami hosszú hétvégéhez - Ez egy egyszerű szállás egy Amszterdami kiránduláshoz. A városközpont és minden nevezetesség jól megközelíthető tömegközlekedéssel. A szállásadó nagyon kedves, segítőkész. Az ágy kényelmes, a szoba, fürdőszoba tiszta. Kiváló ár-érték arány. Mi jól éreztük magunkat.

Ze względu na kształt przypominający ptaka w locie zwany także "rajskim ptakiem". Symbolizuje: wolność, piękno, radość życia, kreatywność, dążenie do osiągania celów, sukces. • maria (10/5): Bellissimo soggiorno - Struttura curata nel minimo dettaglio con tutto quello che serve. Un punto di forza è sicuramente la pulizia, tutto impeccabile. Host gentile e disponibile. Check in e check out veloci. La posizione non è centrale ad Amsterdam, ma a 15 minuti con i mezzi dalla stazione centrale, ma il quartiere è molto tranquillo e silenzioso. Sicuramente consiglio la struttura!
• Visa (9/5): A nice place for a decent price - We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and got thorough instructions and a tour around the rooms. The place was clean, the room and the shared bathroom had all the rudimentary things (although a fridge would've been nice), and the bed was very comfy. The area was peaceful and only a short walk away from Sloterdijk railway station.
• Karolina (10/5): - We were very satisfied with our stay. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are located on the first floor of a house, we had access to the shared bathroom with the room next to us. We also could use the kitchen with all the facilities and a microwave. The localisation is really good, it's calm, there are stores around and a train station. We really couldn't have expected more. Once again we're really satisfied and hopefully we'll have the opportunity to stay here again. -

• mathilde (7/5): - The place is a single bedroom (clean and bed ok) and we share the bathroom and toilets with the other guests. No possibility to cook. Only boil water for tea. 10-15 minutes by foot from the train station.

• Benedicte (9/5): Nice room - The bed was nice, also I liked the make-up table in the (larger) room. The neighbourhood was quiet and withdrawn from the main road and city, and only a 8 min walk from the train station. The people living there were so nice and helpful! Also, there was a dog. Rumors about a cat as well, but did not have the pleasure of meeting it. That it was not written in the description that the stay was in a privat home. Not a problem per se, but when using "guest house" I had a different expection than just having a bedroom in a privat home and sharing the bathroom with the other bedroom that was also rented out. Was terrified of waking the other residents up by going to the bathroom in the night. Also, I had a small issue with the curtains not blocking the light out, and the metal rings attached to the curtain rod is metal so they "clink" all night if you have windows open and there is wind.

• Atefeh (9/5): I recommend here - I had a really nice stay here. The room was quiet and cozy, and the bed was super comfortable. Everything was clean and well-kept, which I really appreciated. The staff were also very polite and helpful. Overall, it was a pleasant experience!

• Anaela (9/5): Good place for solo travelers - It was a nice place. Well located, near to the Flix bus station and Amsterdam Sloterdijk train station. It's a good place for those who are traveling solo. Comfy room, with a nice view.
• Noemi (4/5): Disappointing - The bathroom was dirty, we shared it with other two people and during our staying never cleaned, so the smell is not good. We did a late check in because of the time of our flight, and they asked for 25 more euros for it (they told us that it s impossible to pay with card, cash only). We found Hair in the bed. Finally the house was cold, when we went back in the evening the heat was off.

Everything was super comfortable, cozy, and spotlessly clean—a true home away from home. A big shout out to the amazing lady who runs the place. She’s so kind and welcoming, with a great vibe that instantly makes you feel at ease. And her cat was the cherry on top—friendly and full of personality, just like the house itself. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

The house was very quiet so I could rest at my best. The bathroom was also clean and had everything you needed to make a good stay. The owner really very friendly and kind explained everything I needed to know and was always available for any requests or clarifications. Nothing!
• Toni (10/5): Great value for the money. Convenient. Safe. Friendly. - The host was a wonderful human being. Just meeting her was one of the highlights of my entire trip to Amsterdam. She was warm, friendly, kind, sympathetic, and interesting. I will never forget her and the fascinating and amazing stories she told me! The room was clean, cute, comfortable, and relaxing. The decor is pleasant and you really feel at ease. It really feels like she's experienced at hosting people and thinks of everything. The room felt spacious and had nice small touches such as how she put out water, glasses, napkins, and a few candies. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. The walk to the metro was no problem at all. I would recommend this location to anyone. One of the nicest places I've found anywhere in Europe as a solo traveler and at a great price! She tried to contact me and let me know I could check in earlier. I unfortunately didn't get the message (because I hadn't had wifi yet) and had already scheduled around a later check-in time. But she was so sweet when she saw me and even carried my luggage upstairs to give me a little break. Really, so kind! Hope to stay here again someday!
• Pawel (7/5): Good - Great location, low price, all features listed on booking were present. Very confusing communication with hosts. One of them have welcomed me, explained everything while another calls me 1 hour later to ask when will I arrive because they are waiting (??). Moreover I received wrong keys, fortunately I just had to switch with my neighbour. At 13.52 on the check out day (check out is before 11) they message me to leave before 11.00 (before the message was sent..) along with some instructions where to leave the keys, towels and so on. Of course I was already away so the instructions were pointless

• Furlott (2/5): Very poor - Reasonably close to the train station, although a bit of a hike rolling large suitcases. Google maps directed us a long way, but soon we figured out the most direct route. Host is very nice and helpful for what's in the area. Good drinking water direct from the tap. Restaurants near enough for good dinner and breakfasts. Good WiFi. Bed okay, but, as usual, duvet cover designed for 20 below temperatures!!! More light sheets would be helpful. Unbelievably steep staircase. Sharing the bathroom, which was NOT stated on the front page, and cancellation was NOT allowed even within an hour of suddenly noticing. Watch for this with any booking. AirBnB or hotel might be better for cancellation policy. Anything could happen and you need to cancel. Unreasonable that you can't cancel, even say months away from your stay. Not sure this is the policy of the Host or Booking.com, but be warned. The other major poor point is that checkin is at 6pm, and you can NOT go there earlier to drop your bags off. Rooms VERY small and drapes not dark enough with streetlight outside bedroom. Light is only at one end of the room, so far end where closet is and dresser, there is no light at all. Only one simple pillow.

• Pamela (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great. The room was clean and comfortable. The guesthouse is located near a train station that is only one stop away from the city center so it was perfect.
• Rossella (7/5): A short stay in Amsterdam - The host was friendly and caring, she made sure we had an umbrella on a very rainy day. The room was simple, but there was everything we needed. The house was very cold, but we were provided with a heater, so it hasn't been a problem. The house was excellent for a short stay in Amsterdam, well connected to everything and easily reachable from the airport. We found small snacks and water when we arrived and there was the possibility of using the kitchen (in common, since the house is also the house where the host is living in). As said before the room was a bit humid and cold. The shared bathroom with another couple is of course uncomfortable, but still doable.

• Tulin (5/5): My sisters didn't feel comfortable. They said they felt like unwanted guests. - Reaching home from different stops is not difficult if you have navigation. The owner lives in the attic. My sisters stayed in one of the two rooms downstairs. The rooms are very close to each other.There are rules in the house. You are not allowed to enter with shoes. Smoking is also prohibited on the balcony. It is recommended to be very quiet after 10 pm. The wifi username written in the room is incorrect.

Location was quiet and about a 10 minute walk from the bus to get to the city center (about 30 minutes total) The rooms could use an update. Old piping made a lot of noise when the upstairs shower was in use. Everything was very audible. You can hear every noise in the shared bathroom and the other room. Didn't feel like we had any privacy. It was fine as a roof over our head during our time there.
• Benas (6/5): Bed was comfortable but other than that it was not something that i would want to stay in again - The bed was comfy The description of the property was very misleading, upon arrival it was made clear that we would be living in a womans house with shared bathroom.It was never stated that “THE SUNNY GUESTHOUSE” was just a room being rent out which caused confusion for me and made my stay unpleasant as i felt like i was lied to.

Very well situated, in a quiet residential area, 5 minutes walking distance from 2 different transport facilities, Approximately 30 minutes' ride from home to most attractions. • Annette (8/5): Enjoyed my stay. Would be nice to have a guess book that gave you information as to where things are - It was nice and quiet. After spending days out and about it was nice to go back to the house and chill. The narrow stairs and not enough lighting to be able to see when going up and down them. I fell down the last few steps and I fell a second time going up the stairs.
• Katia (6/5): Decent accomodation if you do not intend to spend too much time inside. - The area is quiet, safe and location is easily accessible by transport WiFi was only accessible for one guest at a time, gas cooker is switched off, double bed made of 2 separate mattresses (uncomfortable to sleep in the middle) and if we checked in 30mims later than 9pm we were going to be charged 25EUR despite having only a 3 hr window check in time.
• Rob (7/5): Good - Good location, very easy access to centre of Amsterdam by train or tram. Nice kitchen/diner space available for breakfast/tea/coffee etc. The room was a little smaller than expected, mostly taken up by the bed.
• Leona (7/5): Good - Nice and clean place not so far from metro station to center and bus to airport. Cat and dog live in the household. It would be better to know this for alergic people. Surroundings was little noisy.

• Škorjanec (10/5): Exceptional - Bakoly was so nice to us and was always ready to help us. She basically offered us her home and gave us everything we needed. We had our own room for 2 and we shared bathroom and kitchen with one couple. We had microwawe, water heater, oven and washing machine. There was no troubles with sharing. If we needed anything, Bakoly provided us with information and didn't expect anything in return. She even gave us a welcome chocolate present which really helped us because we we're tired and hungry. We honestly didn't expect such a nice person with such a big heart. Should i ever come back to Amsterdam, this is where I'll stay. The price is really low for what you get and this is definitely one of the best accomodation so far.

I will definetly return to Sunny Guesthouse next time im in Amsterdam!❤️👍🏼 The wifi wasnt that good in the room, but downstairs it was decent👍🏼
