• Bernard (10/5): This amazing place, the breathtaking view and the kindness of the owners will remain unforgettable and count among the h - We spent two unforgettable nights at Yoga Organic Shelter during our three-week trip around Costa Rica. The place is amazing and offers one of the most beautiful views we experienced in the country. The two bungalows with terraces are very comfortable, well equipped with everything you need (including a small kitchen), and provide a lovely sense of privacy. Waking up to the sounds of birds and howler monkeys was truly special. We highly recommend trying the delicious, high-quality organic dinners prepared by the owners and served on the bar terrace. Last but not least, the energising massage performed by Yann-Erik was deeply restorative and not to be missed. Reaching the lodge — and its truly breathtaking views — is an adventure in itself, as the final 100 meters are very steep and require a 4x4. We tackled it with our 4AWD Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross (medium sized SUV), which added an exciting dose of adrenaline to the journey. If you don’t have a suitable vehicle, don’t worry, Yann-Erik will happily pick you up at the bottom of the hill, ensuring the adventure starts (and ends) smoothly.

A vacsora és a reggeli jobb volt mint egy 5 csillagos szállodában. Hihetetlen hely. A hely olyan atmoszférával rendelkezik, hogy mindenképpen ki kell próbálni. Ha legközelebb jövök biztosan itt szállok meg pár napot. Az hogy csak egy napot maradtunk. Többet kellett volna!

Incredible views, lovely pool, definitely an extremely well designed and well thought out place to completely relax and unwind for a few days. Other than the bottle marked "conditioner" lathering up in the shower, and the blankets in the rooms showing a little wear - there was nothing I didn't love about the bungalow and the property itself. A stunning retreat. Unfortunately, our experience of the owner, Yann, is that he is rude and not at all guest-friendly (Kalu, on the other hand, was kind and always polite!) and loudly berated me when we questioned how the weight/pricing of our lobster is calculated. After getting inundated the next day with long-winded text messages, never once apologizing for how he'd spoken to us, defending his price of lobster (not our issue at all) and defending his commitment to the enjoyment of his guests, I just wanted to leave as soon as possible. He told my partner at breakfast he wanted to talk with us before we checked out, but I had no desire to engage further. Since I'd already settled our bill, we packed the room and headed out. Yann came running down the stairs waving his arms and yelling, and then literally got into his UTV and chased us down the unpaved road for 5 mins before my partner was able to lose him by speeding. He dangerously pulled up alongside the driver's side of our vehicle yelling and waving for us to pull over. I am still in disbelief this happened. 10 mins later, my credit card was charged another $170. Which I will dispute. Traumatic memories that have sadly overshadowed all of the positive ones we made on this trip.
• Scott (10/5): Amazing place! - Staying at the Organica Yoga Retreat was the best way to spend our last few days in Costa Rica. Paquera is an interesting place that doesn't really seem discovered yet and Organica is the best way to experience it. Set in the hillside you have amazing views over the bay. The layout of the villas and communal areas leaves nothing to be desired. The pool is amazing and floating with the view cannot be missed. The pool is also very private with only two villas on site so there is always that sense of peace! It is clear Yann has spent a lot of time considering every detail and the experience reflects this. Yann and Calu were excellent hosts from the first communication, settling in and then throughout our stay. No ask was too much for them and it was so interesting to hear about the journey to get the property to where it is today. Yann is a very conscientious and caring host who really considers his position in nature and the experience of his guests. Calu makes a mean Pina colada so add this to the list! We dined at the house restaurant twice during our stay and both times the food was excellent. Locally sourced and cooked to perfection while being healthy, perfect. Also we saw a lot of wildlife and heard monkeys howling every night, that made it even more special. Nothing

Room was cozy and had everything you might need including AC. Pool and views were UNREAL GORGEOUS! All of our meals (breakfast & dinner) were exceptional quality and taste. Our host Yaan will forever be remembered!! The yoga class we attended with him was one of the most informative and resetting I have ever experienced. Also we received the best massages of our lives. The location felt very local but in a good way. We didn't have to bother with tons of other tourists. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and we will be coming back. I would also note we did all the suggested excursions and had a wonderful time on all. We actually loved how high up this property was because of the incredible views, but the recommendation for a vehicle with 4 wheel drive is no joke! Make sure you get one w/ 4x4

• Shumkis (10/5): An amazing piece of paradise! - Absolutely amazing place! The views are spectacular! Definetly the best place that we stayed in Costa Rica. There are only 2 bungalows in the property so it felt very private and calm. Infinity pool is very big and deep (up to 2m). Food was excellent. Definetly try lobster caught by local fisherman, it can be pricey depending on the size of the lobster but totally worth it! Hosts are very nice and friendly. There is also a ton of wildlife to see here. One coati even came from the jungle to visit us. A lot of birds come by early in the morning so don't sleep for too long! Would book this place again it a heartbeat. Hope to return here someday. Road to the place was a very bumpy dirt road that ends in a very steep climb, so you will definetly want a 4x4. Out small 1.5L 4x4 made it. It's even easier if manually shift gears! Not a complaint but take this into account before booking!

The road to the villa is not for everyone. The dirt road is okay but the final climb even with a 4x4 is a challenge. But they will come pick you up if ypu can't do it.

If you are brave enough to endure the driveway experience that leads you there, you will be rewarded greatly. Yann chose this property and developed it with tremendous intention and purpose. Every decision was made with care. The breezes cool you and keep away the mosquitoes. The views are jaw-dropping. And the energy is unparalleled. No task was too small or big for Yann. Our children have severe food allergies, and he and his chef went above and beyond in their approach and care to keep them well-fed and safe. The food was phenomenal. We enjoyed absolutely everything and would return in a heartbeat. A great place to settle in and not even leave for a few days. I cried when we left because of how special the experience was. Thank you, Yann and Kalu!! The drive up was terrifying for me;) Also, be aware of lack of railings, which was concerning at first, but we quickly adapted.

The views are truly breathtaking - everything is immaculate & the shower products all organic. The food was delicious and a wonderful breakfast to start the day. There’s plenty to do in the area from bio luminescence kayaking to beach days to Tortuga island. You can have a massage on site and there’s yoga too. It’s honestly such a special place and we were so sad to leave. We will be back & will 100% recommend this little gem to friends & family. • Csilla (10/5): Outstanding place for relaxation - It is an outstanding accommodation with fantastic view. The owner is really friendly and helpful, he did his best during our stay. The food is top end, very high quality and more then enough. One of the beach is very close, 5-7 mins by car, walk is possible but it is extremely tiring on the way back due to the 40% slope. Without 4x4 car, you will not be able to get to the property but the owner will help you. The pool has a beautiful view and the atmosphere is relaxing as there are only 2 villas.
• Johan (10/5): The most magical place to stay in Paquera - Fantastic location with breathtaking views from the room onto Tortuga island and the Organos beach. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are cosy with a nice terrace. If you like there’s yoga in the morning. Ideal for a nice and quiet stay but perfectly located for the main attractions such as hikes in Curu wildlife reserve, bioluminescence at night, horseback riding at the beach and snorkling boat trips. the road leading up to the site is difficult and very steep. you cannot reach it by car without a 4x4. parking lot was narrow but again this was overcome by the staff helping you move around and making it hassle free.
• Marcocgn (10/5): Fantastic location, you will remember this all your life! - This was the most spectacular location during our round trip in Costa Rica. A beautiful little gem located on top of a mountain, with just 2 units to rent (up to 4 people). The most spectacular view you can imagine, a beautiful pool, massage options, great dinner and breakfast choices -- there is literally nothing i would want to see changed at this place. A bit more pricey than other options in San Jose, but worth every little cent. Thank you! Well, the view comes with a price -- the drive to the house it difficult the last 500 m, as it is super steep. My car did not manage it so we had to park it a bit below, but you get picked up and driven up, so not really an issue at all.

• Greg (10/5): An absolute gem on the Nicoya peninsula - Yann and Kalu are the warmest and kindest hosts I have ever stayed with. They make an already wonderful place extra special. The whole property is magnificent architecturally, especially the pool. This is a great place to rest and relax, to do yoga, or to do a couple of nearby trips like the bioluminescence or Tortuga island. Not far from Tambor airport and the taxi driver the hosts recommend is a nice guy too and decent value for the area.
• Xu (9/5): comfortable stay with unforgettable view - The view is amazing with different scenery day and night. The mattress was very comfortable and beddings are good quality. The pool is very nice with the view. Banana pancake and Yann’s self made kombucha are delicious. I love the fact that the whole place is powered by solar power. Yann and Kalu are the best and really make us feel like home. The tour with a little boat to Isla Tortuga is a great experience with good value. In summary, this stay made our time special! The steep road to the beautiful accommodation was quite scary. Our rental car Audi Q4 was 4*4 but didn’t make it, might become of the tire. But all other 4*4 seemed made it. Yann was amazing and helped us park the car nearby and helped us with the luggage. There was 10 mins of dirt road, not hard just annoying. There were 3 beds in our accommodation. It would make sense for 4 ppl, but just 2 of us, I would prefer the bed in the kitchen was a sofa or hang out area.
• Natasha (10/5): Didn’t want to leave! - The views are absolutely beautiful - best views we had during our whole trip to CR. The food is super fresh and prepared every day - had a delicious sushi meal that the chef prepared for us one evening. An amazing and unique experience overall. Jann the owner was very welcoming and Kalu who works there went above and beyond during our stay so thank you! We will miss this place and also the cute Coati Alonso who roams around! Hope to come back one day 😌
• Matthew (8/5): Beautiful location and pool. - Beautiful location and pool. Honesty bar with lots of supplies. Incredible food which we ate both nights we stayed. Great hosts, would recommend. Unfortunately the property is up the steepest road I have ever travelled on. Scary to drive on and I am a confident driver. Not particularly well signposted at the accommodation therefore we drove too far up the road.
