- Kathryn (10/5): Pumped with the spirit of Pavones, a warm and welcoming home, super close to the beach and all amenities. You will love - Homely, quiet but very central, excellent shared kitchen, hugely welcoming and helpful host in Carol. Nothing.
- Maddi (10/5): - Nos encantó nuestra estancia en Cabinas Carol. La dueña fue super amable, atenta y siempre estaba disponible para ayudarnos con lo que necesitaramos. En una ocasión se nos rompió la quilla de una de las tablas que le alquilamos y ella nos la reparó al momento. El lugar estaba muy limpio. La cocina es muy espaciosa, con neveras grandes con espacios apartados para cada habitacion. Un detalle de la limpieza que hizo la experiencia mucho más agradable es que cambian los paños humedos de la cocina cada día. Todos los artículos de la cocina estaban siempre limpios. La habitacion y el baño privado muy espaciosos y lindos, con bastante sensacion de privacidad gracias a la linda vegetacion tropical que rodea las habitaciones. La ubicación es excelente. Podíamos ir a la playa a surfear caminando. A pocos pasos hay una pequeña tienda de alimentación. Ojalá en la zona se reciclara más. Sin que en el hostel algunas basuras se separaban, después no sabemos si se consigue reciclar.

- Helene (10/5): Just go! - We loved this place, could stay there forever! Rooms are fresh all day even without aircon! And the kitchen is so big, the family who takes care of the place are super sweet and we met super cool people! Loved everything
- Lisa (9/5): We definitely enjoyed it! - We really enjoyed our stay at Cabinas Carol! The surfing beach is 2 minutes away and there is a small supermarket where you can get everything you need. There are a few local restaurants within walking distance where you can enjoy local food. The Cabinas managers are really nice and you can always contact them if you have any question. The vibe is very relaxed and some local vendors come by to sell fruit, coconuts or other things. We especially liked the outdoor kitchen and the feeling of being in the middle of the jungle. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back. The equipment is very simple and a bit old, but it is completely sufficient. It would be nice if the yoga area got some love again.

Almost everyone who arrived extended their stay: the staff are super, the location is a spacious jungle-style garden full of hammocks and visiting wildlife of every kind (monkeys, red macaws, toucans!). - Morganna (8/5): Perfect location - unbeatable location, most kind and helpful staff, and quiet clean accommodations. Perfect for surfers who want to be close to the break and everything else in town without driving everywhere. Will be back again! Wish there were hooks for towels in the bathroom, and also at least room cleaning / change of fresh towels once during our 4-day stay. With all the surfing and jungling we did, inevitably there was quite a lot of sand in the room by the time we checked out. Also, during wet season there's a lot of humidity so towels don't dry that quickly. Thankfully we brought our own but -- some constructive feedback for the Cabinas staff -- would be great to have at least a room clean once every 2-3 days to make the Cabinas Carol even better experience.

- Carrie (8/5): A hidden gem! Highly recommended. - Great gardens that made the units seem secluded. I love the outdoor shower. Huge communal kitchen, each unit gets its own shelf in a fridge (a very nice touch). Surfboards are available for rent onsite, and it's only a short walk to the beach.

- Lizque (10/5): Great, overall experience - I liked that this room's entrance was a bit more private. The room had air conditioning, which was a plus at night. I really like that the shared kitchen has fridges with designated shelves for the various rooms so you know which shelf is only yours. The shared kitchen can be a bit crowded at certain times of the day and I feel uncomfortable being in there when others are there, but that's just me.
