Guest Reviews
- Jente (10/5): Lovely Salento nature view with great price/value! - What an amazing place ! Kind staff and the view is just incredible. Such a great price/value for this view on the Salento nature. We spent here 1 night and I loved waking up with this wonderful view. We chose the Deluxe room, which is by far the nicer one as it's higher and has more privacy. The other room is below next to the reception and I believe here there is more noise / people walking around.
I can definitely recommend this place ! All was great!
- Julie (6/5): Excellent location but very unfriendly owners - The location is excellent and the view from the room is amazing! The hotel is run by an older couple. The husband is Ok, but the wife is so rude, mean, and unkind. I felt like I was walking around on eggshells around her.
Even though the view is great, there's nowhere to really sit and enjoy it. It's just not a very comfortable hotel.
- Lorenz (10/5): Best place in Salento - Haime and his family are the best hosts imaginable - super friendly and caring.
The location is perfect!
The offered laundry service is great as well. The WiFi signal could be stronger.
- Sinead (6/5): Pleasant -
- Christoph (9/5): the owner was very helpful, pretty quiet, nice view -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - The view from your room listing to the rosters in the morning
And the staff was very nice
- Nicole (6/5): Nice view but very loud.. - The Hotel has a very nice view and great location, the owner was very friendly. We actually thought it was a quiet place to stay because of the location. Unfortunately, this was not the case at all. Some of the staff (and the owner's family?) talked in the kitchen until 12 o'clock at night and before 7 o'clock in the morning, which meant we couldn't sleep well. You could also hear cell phone noises all the time. A great pity as it would otherwise have been a very nice place to stay due to the view.
- Aidan (10/5): Perfect place to stay near center of town with great view - Great location that is quiet but close to town center. Amazing view outside of room. Kind staff and convenience store in lobby. Privacy, the screens are transparent and staff would sit outside of our room making us feel like it wasn’t private.
- Cardona (10/5): Exceptional - Excelente. Recomendadísimo, don Jaime es super atento y servicial.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Our best stay in Colombia - This was without a doubt our favourite accommodation in Colombia (and we splashed out on a 5 star hotel at one point!) The location is amazing with an incredible view from the room and it’s quiet but REALLY near the main square and main streets; the room is super clean and nice.
But what makes it soooo special is Don Jaime (the owner) and the rest of the staff. He literally went completely out of his way to help us in any way, whilst being incredibly patient with our terrible Spanish. Coffees in the morning and evening, taking our washing to the laundry and back, booking our taxi to the airport, giving us loads of recommendations….all of this done without us asking for any of it! I would go as far to say he’s the most helpful hostel/hotel owner I’ve ever experienced in my life.
In short, a wonderful experience- HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
- Siddardha (8/5): Very good -
- Rebecca (9/5): Great location and lovely views - Great location near the main square and lovely views. a bit chilly but was provided with blankets.
- Alexis (9/5): Superb -
- Stefanie (10/5): Perfect place to stay! - It was a lovely stay in this family-owned hostel!
The owner and his family took really good care and helped us a lot within our stay (English and Spanish speaking)!
The room was very quiet, with the best view on the mountains. The bathroom was with daylight and a really nice, hot shower. It was very clean and new furnished.
Perfect place to stay! Can't recommend enough :) Nothing to complain about!
- Roby (8/5): amazing stay - the room had an amazing view on the mountains. the staff was extremely friendly and the entire hotel was very clean. the location is very central, one street away from the central square. nothing! the place was kind of quiet.
- Ariane (9/5): Super friendly and helpful. Nice room, great view! -
- James (10/5): Exceptional - amazing location, but also very quiet at night. big, clean room. stunning view. very friendly and gave some great suggestions for dinner.
- Léa (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect attention, they help you with everything !
