• Katia (10/5): Excelente alojamiento. - Aparte de la facilidad para llegar, la comodidad y la limpieza siento que el plus esta en que se puede descansar mucho. Llega la hora para dormir y la hostal respeta el sueño de sus visitantes. Eso le suma muchisimos puntos ! Nada. Todo estaba limpio , ordenado y es de todo de facil acceso.

• Areli (4/5): simplemente preferí no quedarme - El baño estaba limpio pero es incómodo, muy pequeño, y se supone que era la habitación premium, las fotografías en internet mostraban un lugar más agradable, el ingreso tampoco pareciera el de un hostal sino más bien una casa tomada, con candado en la reja, no me provocó confianza, por lo que nos fuimos a otro lugar a pasar la noche. la gente que tiende mal aspecto, poco confiable, una de ella se paseo tiñendose el pelo cuando ingresamos, la reserva nos pidió tarjeta de crédito, luego nos hicieron pagar con otro medio de pago, además que no permite cancelación, no me pareció confiable.

Desde el primer momento, me sentí muy cómodo, casi como si estuviera en casa. El equipo fue extremadamente atento y acogedor, siempre muy amable en la atención. Además, el desayuno de Syl estaba muy bueno, superando mis expectativas. Sin duda, es un lugar que recomiendo a todos.

The staff were kind letting us store our bicycles and luggage on checkout day. Slightly confusing payment with the domestic tax added even for foreign tourists

A experiência foi terrível, do início ao fim. Os quartos estavam sujos e mofados, e a roupa de cama tinha um odor desagradável, dando a impressão de que não foi lavada. Além disso, o banheiro estava imundo, e não havia água quente, o que me impediu de tomar banho no primeiro dia. A cozinha compartilhada também era um problema sério: a geladeira estava completamente nojenta e sem a mínima condição de higiene. A falta de manutenção também ficou evidente quando choveu e meu quarto começou a gotejar. Em relação à segurança e privacidade, a situação também foi péssima. A fechadura eletrônica parecia ser de fácil acesso para qualquer pessoa, o que gerou uma grande sensação de insegurança. A única coisa que parecia funcionar de maneira eficiente era a cobrança em dólares e a insistência em lembrar a todo momento do horário de desocupar o quarto. Foi uma experiência horrível, os piores dias da minha vida hospedado neste albergue. Infelizmente, procurei outros hotéis próximos, mas não encontrei vagas.

Nous avons été pique à de nombreuses reprises par des punaises de lits, dans deux chambres, car l'établissement nous a changé de chambre après ma 1ere nuit quand nous leur avons dit que nous avions été piqué. Vu le nombre de piqûre, l'infestation n'est pas récente. Il est impératif que l'établissement réagisse et traite en profondeur à minima les 2 chambres du rez-de-chaussée.

• Isak L (2/5): A ruined vacation - Well, my review will be influenced by the fact that I was severely bitten by bedbugs and suffered by this for more than a week. I guess it can happen anywhere, but it's worth noting that the rooms had nowhere to store your luggage, which I think makes it more likely. Secondly, although I was given a better room, the staff and the management did not handle the situation well. No apologies offered and they told Booking I had never showed up. What is more, some of the staff used the common areas as their personal livingroom and kindergarten/ football ground, which was a nuisance throughout the days.

• román (3/5): Mala experiencia - El baño limpio El lugar no era tranquilo de noche y no había estacionamiento disponible dentro de la estancia, se escuchaba el interior como el exterior. El personal no fue amable, además, el suelo de la habitación tenía polvo, las sábanas tenían pelos y pelusas, la almohada con mal olor y cojines sucios, la cortina no se podía abrir y estaban manchadas, el televisor estaba dañado (solo se veía la mitad), poco confort en el baño y no había jabón para las manos ni shampoo en la ducha. En la mañana corría agua por la pared, tal vez del aire acondicionado, muy mala experiencia. Por el precio que cobran esperaría algo mucho mejor, además la habitación no fue la misma de la fotografía. (Subiré las fotos que logré tomar)

• Jean-francois (9/5): Best all-around hostel near SanCristobal (bang for buck) - This hostel was the best for my needs, they got a clean kitchen, they clean all the rooms thoroughly (I am really allergic to animals at trace level, so believe me if I say they rooms are clean), they can help you for whatever needs you have, they are located not too far from the bars/clubs area if that's you thing... At one point, I had to leave a heavy luggage in order to go around Chile and they safely kept it in a safe area. Also, they are located nead CerroSanCristobal, in front of a supermarket, in what I considered a safe area. The area is quiet at night, but even during the day you will not be bothered since most rooms are further from the street. They could buy some new kitchenwares. They need more table/chairs around...

• Anna (7/5): Good - Bus stop and supermarket right in front of the door, early check-in and baggage storage available. Kitchen facilities were great. No option to pay with card in USD (or other foreign currency), hence had to pay the taxes. WiFi was very unstable and only good in the kitchen.

• Alison (8/5): The 2 star rating on google maps does not do it justice. It's a little haven in Santiago. - Location was perfect. Close to restaurants, butcher, supermarket and trails. Walls are quite thin if you have noisy neighbours.
• Wanderlusts (1/5): Bad - the location is good - a 10 minute walk to Koreatown - The room I was in was directly next to the outdoor lounge area, which included a punching bag. There were guests (both children and adults) screaming, watching loud videos and hitting the punching bag until past 11pm, which is incredibly disruptive. There need to be quiet hours set and enforced. - I got a knock on my door past 10pm, which as a solo female traveler, I am definitely not answering. Very questionable that there wasn't any possibility of contacting any staff at this time. - The windows/room were poorly insulated, which means the inside of my room smelled like cigarette smoke anytime a guest was smoking in the outside area. - The staff had mentioned they could provide a packed breakfast, since I was heading out early – didn't see any indication of this in the morning. - Had reached out to the host through booking with a question, and never heard back

• H (2/5): Ice cold shower, rude staff. - We were not offered breakfast. Staff was incredibly rude. We were encouraged to park our car at the gas station down the street and pay the guys to watch it. We had to argue for well over an hour to get a parking spot inside the gate and then had to move our car after midnight. To add to this, room had windows open and no heat when we arrived and shower was ice cold.

• Artur (10/5): Exceptional - The location of the hostel is perfect. The walking distance to San Cristobal and Bellavista provides many opportunities to dive into vibrant city life. The city center is also within a 20-minute walk, making the hostel the best location for exploring the city. The room was very tidy, well-equipped, and the personnel were always happy to help. They served homemade breakfast. We will be happy to return.

• Ellinger (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean hostel and extremely friendly and helpful owners and staff! The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and is super clean and organized. There is a little patio with nice couches to hangout. The whole hostal is very cozy and located in a beautiful quarter of Santiago. We stayed over one week and could even borrow tools to fix some stuff in our car. The welcome to Chile could not have been nicer than with a stay in this hostal. We absolutely recommend to stay here!!
• Brian (8/5): Very good - Place was great for our stay in Santiago, close to the nice area of town and it had nice facilities. We didnt feel any hostel atmosphere from this place, more of a guest house with several permanent lodgers, but perhaps this was just the period we were there.

• Jasmine (9/5): Superb - The rooms were amazing. Super comfortable bed and excellent air conditioning unit. I slept so well here and the shower had great pressure and easy to regulate temperature. Staff very nice Location isn’t the best but I knew that when I booked it. I didn’t really eat breakfast but it was a great spread.
• David (7/5): Good - Location and atmosphere. The hostel is a chill place with a full kitchen, common areas inside and outside. Right across the street is the Cerro Cristobal. A good hike with great views. Also, the bus stops literally right outside the front gate. While the location is in a good safe area in close proximity to a major park and some decent restaurants it is a little ways away from the city centre.

• Ingrid (9/5): Superb - Personel was very friendly and kind. Price is very good according to quality. Personel does not speak english! (or very badly). Strange and loud noises during the night, it was disrupting, but thats a problem of the neighbourhood not the hostel it self.
• Jess (8/5): Amazing value! - Despite the Google reviews for the address the area is great!! Quiet and beautiful (simular to Bellavista but 1/3 the amount of traffic). Was on an easy, helpful bus route. Very safe facility and area. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable. Communal kitchen is always kept clean and has all the amenities needed. Only mild English was spoken but enough to muddle through. If you're looking for 4-5 star, not the place for you. No room cleaning/food options/toilet paper is not flushable (same as the whole city), I bought my own toilet paper, a little confusing on how to clean your own room.
• Orla (6/5): Pleasant - Beds were super comfy, amazing TV in the double room and lovely hot shower. Friendly staff, location was close to Patio Bella Vista and cooking facilities were decent. Unfortunately electricity kept cutting out but would come back straight away. Slightly expensive for a hostel rate.
