Sehr gut ist die Möglichkeit, mit der vom Haus kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellten Mobility Card den ÖPR zu benutzen.Die Bushaltestelle ist in nur ca. 8 Minuten Fußweg zu erreichen . Den PKW kann man an der Pension parken.

• Natalia (10/5): Perfect stay - We stayed at Frühstückspension Helmhof for 2 nights and everything was great. The breakfast was excellent, and every morning they served fresh eggs from their own chickens and homemade jam, which was a really nice touch. There’s a playground for children right behind the pension, which was perfect for us. The location is also very convenient – close to the center of Salzburg, but still very quiet and peaceful. You can take the bus to Salzburg for free. Overall, a very comfortable and relaxing stay, we would definitely recommend it and hope one day we will be back!

• Liljana (10/5): Dobra energija - Lokacija izjemna za sprehod po vasi in do centra kraja, cerkve gostilne. Blizu, 5 minut hoda, je avtobus za prevoz v Salzburg. Brezplačne vozovnice uredi upraviteljica nastanitve. Sobe prostorne, čiste, zjutraj so bili topli radiatorji. Zajtrk odličen, sproti dopolnjujejo hrano. Prijetna mala jedilnica. Lastniki so komunikativni, prijazni, ustrežljivi. Bili smo štirje, dva para, balkon skupni, sobi sosednji. Odlično smo se imeli. Če koga zanima: v bližini je letališče, vidijo se vzleti in pristanki letal, sploh pa niso pa moteči. Nimam pripomb.

Das tolle Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen - die heimeligen Räumlichkeiten und auch das Anwesen sind mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Sehr nette Gastgeber, die den Service-Gedanken leben (ein Gratis-Ticket des ÖVPN gab´s für die Fahrt zum Haupbahnhof Salzburg bzw. einen Tip für die Nutzung einer App der Öffi´s für eine spätere Wienreise).

The guest is given a free bus pass for the duration of staying, which is very considerable. Secondly, the owners are very friendly and keep the properly feel like a home. The courtyard is very well maintained and cleaned. The single room I was in is surprisingly spacey and hot water actually is quite hot. Lastly, breakfast isn’t fancy but more than enough. Immaculately clean with great facilities, a spacious room and stunning mountain views from our balcony. It’s a short walk to a shopping centre and a quiet village with a fresh milk dispenser next door (so good!!). Had dinner at one of the recommended restaurants just a 5 minute walk away - huge portions & authentic food. Feels like the countryside, with a lovely park nearby and easy bus access to Salzburg. We used public transport the entire time with no issues. The staff were warm, genuine, and spoke excellent English. Breakfast was outstanding—generous, homemade, and far better than most places we stayed. Felt safe and homely—wish we’d stayed longer! Would definitely recommend! Also: Can purchase Salzburg card from reception & definitely recommend that. We only had 24hrs & were able to see so many amazing things. Recommend the Untersburg cable car & trick fountain castle!

La posizione è strategica: a pochi minuti a piedi, il bus ti porta in un baleno nel centro di Salisburgo, proprio alla casa natale di Mozart. I proprietari sono premurosi e accoglienti e la ricca colazione che preparano ogni mattina trasuda amore per ciò che fanno. Soggiornato per 3 notti a cavallo di Capodanno: con la neve è tutto ancora più magico!

Excellent communication prior arrival and to my surprise she even arranged the guest mobility card so I could start using as soon as I arrived in Salzburg. The pension can be reached by s3 and bus 4. The neighborhood is very tranquil and safe! My room was spacious comfortable and clean! There is a fridge and kettles on the hallway for guest use. Breakfast was plenty and very delicious! Die Lage war gut, man kann eine Mobilitätskarte bekommen, damit fährt man in ganz Salzburg kostenlos mit den Öffentlichen für die Dauer des Aufenthalts und die Busstation ist in 5-10 min zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Accès très rapide et tickets offerts par la propriétaire. - La chambre était très confortable et très propre, tout comme la literie, avec un balcon. - Accès à un frigo commun et à des boissons chaudes. - Parking gratuit sur place. - La piscine extérieure semblait agréable mais nous ne l’avons pas utilisée. - Le petit déjeuner pourrait être un peu plus « maison » et plus fourni.
• Faton (8/5): - Das Doppelbettzimmer war komplett neu saniert, wobei besonders das Bad sehr schön modernisiert und mit einem Föhn ausgestattet wurde. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Das Frühstück war solide. Der Essbereich war zwar etwas klein, aber sympathisch. Außerdem standen genügend Parkplätze kostenlos zur Verfügung. Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend.

• Mirko (10/5): Wir können die Unterkunft zu 100% weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen wieder. - Es war sehr schön eingerichtet und super schön dekoriert. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alle Wünsche wurden erfüllt. Es gibt nichts auszusetzen.
• Loreen (10/5): Heimelig und tolles Personal - Die Unterkunft ist sehr „heimelig“ und man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Ich habe ein Einzelzimmer gebucht und ein Doppelbett mit Balkon zugewiesen bekommen. Die Ausstattung ist praktikabel und solide. Das Badezimmer wurde modernisiert und ist mit einem Föhn ausgestattet. Auch das Frühstück war „wie zuhause“. Von Rührei bis Bircher Müsli, alles da :-) Am Waschbecken waren kleine Flecken von Zahnpasta. Die liesen sich aber ohne Probleme entfernen.
• Brenda (10/5): This was a wonderful place to stay, don’t miss it. - The property was spacious and beautiful. The family running it were professional and very friendly. We were given helpful advice about a local place to have supper within walking distance which served classic Austrian dishes. Directions for buses and trains were easy to follow, which made getting into Salzburg a pleasure. Breakfast at the property was exceptional, offering a wide choice tasty foods including home made produce. There was nothing that we didn’t like.

• hyun (6/5): - 아침 조식의 가짓수는 적었으나 맛은 그럭저럭 괜찮음 버스를 이용하려면 500미터 이상을 걸어나가야 해서 위치가 좋지 않은 편임 2박을 했는데 타올을 바꿔주지 않아 더 달라고 했더니 불쾌한 표정 지음 이층 숙소였는데 공용으로 사용하는 냉장고가 일층에 있어서 이용하기 힘들었고 옷장 선반에 먼지가 많아 옷이 더렵혀짐

• RON (10/5): - The staff was so very kind, accommodating, and friendly. The area was safe and was an easy walk to the bus stop. Having the free bus passes was an added bonus. We were in a room right next to the street so you could hear the traffic but it was minimal after dark and didn’t interrupt our sleep. The breakfast was good with plenty of options. I would recommend this hotel to my best friend. We liked everything about this hotel!

• Anja (8/5): Nette familiäre Pension mit freundlichen Besitzern, etwas außerhalb gelegen - Das Zimmer war sehr groß und hatte einen Balkon. Bad und WC waren modern und sauber. Die Pension liegt außerhalb von Salzburg, aber man erhält vom Vermieter kostenlose Bustickets, um in die Innenstadt zu fahren. Das ging problemlos. Die Wirtsleute sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Frühstück war angenehm, und es war alles da, was man braucht. Die ganze Pension macht einen liebevoll gepflegten Eindruck. Draußen gibt es auch Tische und Sitzgruppen zum Verweilen. Man bekommt einen Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Die Straße vor dem Haus ist trotz der eher dörflichen Umgebung sehr laut, so dass man nicht in Ruhe auf dem Balkon verweilen kann. Wir wollten abends die örtlichen Restaurants besuchen, die fußläufig erreichbar waren, da wir nicht noch einmal mit dem Bus in die Innenstadt fahren wollten, aber alle Restaurants hatten geschlossen (das war an einem Sonntag). In der Umgebung der Pension haben die Restaurants sonntags und montags Ruhetag. Wir haben dann letztendlich doch das Auto genommen. Frühstückszeit war bis 9:30 Uhr. Wir waren gegen 8:30 Uhr beim Frühstück und trotzdem meistens die letzten. Man hatte ein bißchen das Gefühl, dass die Wirtsleute schon abräumen wollten. Die Pension ist nichts für Langschläfer, wobei 8:30 Uhr ja nicht wirklich spät ist.

• Margherita (10/5): - La pensione Helmhof è veramente una chicca in un quartiere tranquillo. Pulita, accogliente, ci si sente come a casa. Purtroppo i tempi stretti e la temperatura non ci hanno permesso di usare la piscina, altra chicca completa di sdraio, ombrelloni e il necessario per godersi il relax. Giardino curato nei minimi dettagli. Stanze pulite e grandi, fornite di tutto l'occorrente. A disposizione degli ospiti anche bollitori e frigoriferi in condivisione posti nell'ingresso delle case (la struttura è composta di due case). Colazione abbondante e buona, servita in un ambiente curato. Personale gentilissimo. Il centro di Salisburgo è facilmente raggiungibile grazie all'autobus numero 4, distante 5 minuti a piedi dalla pensione. Purtroppo non è possibile cenare in struttura ma sono presenti dei ristoranti a pochi minuti a piedi. Altrimenti a 4 minuti di macchina o 10 minuti a piedi è presente un grande centro commerciale (Europark) fornito di tutto. Con la tassa di soggiorno vengono forniti i biglietti per i mezzi pubblici da utilizzare per tutta la durata del soggiorno. Utile se non si vuole fare la Salzburg card. Veramente bello! Se capiteremo nuovamente a Salisburgo, la pensione Helmhof sarà la prima scelta!
• Robert (9/5): Visiting a beautiful city while staying in a comfortable chalet, enjoying nature and fresh air - At first I was hesitant about choosing that place which looked very pleasant but a little far from the city. But, to my surprise, at my arrival, the host immediately subscribed for me an abonnement to Salzburg public transport system for the length of my stay (without any supplement to pay)! This was so practical! The frequency of buses to and from the city center is every 12/15 min., which is quite convenient. - As for the pension itself, the chalet style is so nice! The room was very large, looking at the garden and quiet. The toilet and shower were large as well and working perfectly. Breakfast offers a good choice, taking into account that this is a small structure.
