Sam (9/5): Superb - It’s the only economical hostel in town and it’s very good. I was grateful they waited for my late arrival to check in, on the only bus from Rioja. The owner is very nice guy but seemed to ignore first booking conditions: Foreigners who paid with a foreign credit card, debit card … to be exempt from the 21% VAT…so I paid it in cash. Also there is complementary coffee with sliced bread and butter to all guest except me who was in dorm room. I don’t eat slice bread or butter but treated like second class is not good when I was made to pay vat in cash.

Laura (10/5): Really beautiful hostel with nice and helpful staff - The staff was really nice and helped me a lot, they even made it possible to check in a lot earlier as I arrived from a long busride. The hostel itself is really beautiful with a lot of details and has a well equipped kitchen (probably the best I have seen in a hostel!). Definitely can recommend to stay here :)

Garry (10/5): Thanks to helpful translators - Check in was saved by a fellow tenant , Nacho, who responded to our knock and phoned management Staff arrived with an English speaking friend who fully explained everything, also a huge help. Hosts and Booking com should realize there's no such thing as too much check in information, even for the search phase of choosing a place! Assume the customer has no language capability, nor telephone system knowledge . That's the way to attract foreign travellers.
