• Steffen (10/5): Kurzurlaub im schönen Karwendel - Die tolle Lage und eine traumhafte Aussicht auf verschneite Berge. Wir hatten eine schöne große Wohnung als Familie und die Ausstattung der Küche, Bad und Schlafzimmer war sehr gut. Kostenlose Parkplätze und Wifi, gibt es direkt an der Pension. Die Familie Steiner ist sehr gastfreundlich!! Und wir hatten jeden Morgen Brötchenservice. Man kann aber auch im Restaurant Frühstücken und Essen. Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge nah und etwas ferner. Innsbruck, Hintertuxer Gletscher, Kitzbühel, Going Stangelwirt, Achensee, um nur ein paar Ausflüge zu nennen. Es gibt Thermen, Bäder, Bergwerk mit Führung, viele Wandermöglichkeiten, Radfahren, Hängebrücke, Swarovski Kristallwelten usw. Die Auswahl der Ausflüge ist sehr groß. Wir können Pension Steiner auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Es gibt nichts auszusetzen.

• Katalin (9/5): - We spent one week in February at this place. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean. There is a playroom for the kids. The ski piste is in walking distance and perfect for beginners and kids. The breakfast is nice, and there is a good dinner option, with huge portions of Austrian meals. I liked everything.

• Jenny (10/5): Great hotel with the most amazing view - We very much enjoyed our stay at Ferienpension Steiner. The view to the mountains is incredible, can’t get better than that. Hotel is conveniently located and is close to popular attractions (<1,5 hours drive): Innsbruck, Wolfsklamm Gorge, Achensee Lake, Olpererhütte Hike… The breakfast was amazing as well.
• Hoofkes (9/5): Complex met mooie ligging voor wie van rust houdt. - De prachtige ligging en uitzicht, mooi uitzicht, goed ontbijt. Typisch Oostenrijks Restaurant ter plaatsen was maar 1 dag open, dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt was 6 berg kilometers rijden. Te stijl om even wat boodschappen te halen.

• Muktiono (8/5): FeWo mit phänomenaler Aussicht aus Wohnzi.: Karwendel Nordkette bei gutem Wetter wie ein Wallpaper - FeWo hat Stil aus frühen 80er, hat aber alles was man braucht. Vermieter/Hausbetreuer bemüht sich für alles weitere nach Wunsch. Unser Bad hat zufälligerweise eine Badewanne, die die verregnete Tage wieder wettmacht. Großzügiger Parkplatz. Aussicht aus dem Balkon / Wohnzimmer ist phänomenal, Karwendel Nordkette bei gutem Wetter wie Wallpaper am Fenster, dazu Sonnenunter-/Aufgänge über Karwendel machen einen richtig emotional. 2-3cm hohe Fußleiste aus hartem Stahl an jeder Türschwelle ruft zu Vorsicht beim Laufen zw. den Zimmern in der FeWo auf. Fahrt zur FeWo ist über 6km windige Serpentine Strassen, wo jedesmal ein Drängler von hinten stets an der Stoßstange klebt. Daher besser geeignet wenn Auto mind. 130 PS hat, besser mehr. Klebrige Insekten aus den Obstbäumen regnen es mit Morgentaus aufs Auto,

• Andreas (9/5): Ein herrlicher Urlaub mit toller Aussicht und unzähligen Möglichkeiten - Die Lage einfach herrlich, der Blick ging in das Weerberger Tal. Auf Wunsch anderer Gäste haben wir eine FeWo, statt ein Zimmer bekommen. Was uns sehr gefreut hat. Im Winter sind es nur 100m bis zum Skilift. Im Sommer muss man schon etwas weiter gehen oder fahren bis zur einer Sommerseilbahn. Die Pension liegt auf knapp 1300m, also ist da nix mit eben mal fix in die Stadt. Die Zufahrt nach oben ist immer wieder ein Erlebnis. Die Karwendel Silbercard ist zwar kostenlos, doch für uns zu wenig inklusive. Die Zimmer und das Ambiente ist sehr sauber, das Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wer aus der Stadt Ruhe finden will, der ist hier richtig. Von der Sonnenterrasse kann man wunderbar nach Hall und Innsbruck schauen. 25Km Luftlinie liegt der Flughafen von Innsbruck, aber Flugzeuge haben wir zwar gesehen, gehört jedoch so gut wie gar nicht. Im Tal sollte man unbedingt im Hotel Rettenberg gespeist haben. Wir waren mit dem E-Auto da, Ladesäulen gibt es oben zwar nicht aber im Tal im Unkreis gibt es genug Ladesäulen Das Frühstück, war etwas spärlich, aber nicht schlecht! Es war zwar reichlich da, für eine kleine Pension auch nicht unbedingt mehr notwendig, aber so ein paar frische Tomaten oder Gurken haben wir schon vermisst und die Fenster im Speiseraum hätten gelegentlich geöffnet werden sollen.

• Ralph (10/5): A gem! Beautiful and peaceful. - This place is a gem. Beautiful and peaceful. The unit is so cozy and complete, the view is amazing. The hosts were kind and helpful! Will definitely recommend it, and I'd come back next year if I get the chance! Only minor downside, considering that we went during the hot days of august, there was no electric fan or AC. But closing the curtains in the hotter hours was enough. Mornings and evenings outside were nice and cool!

The view from my apartment was very bad and unexpected as it overlooked a street and the rest of the hotel building and not as advertised on Booking. 2. The road to the place is very difficult and dangerous, and the place is not worth the danger of the road 3. The place is very far from services and tourist attractions in the Tyrol region. 4. The bed wasn't comfortable at all and neither were the chairs in the kitchen. 5. There are no insect nets, and because of the large number of insects in the place, my family and I were exposed to many mosquito bites. 6. There is no elevator to the floor I stayed on, which is not suitable for many visitors with special needs.

The hotel is very clean and well maintained, and the staff really care about what they do and the people that come to visit. They were very helpful in making sure we were comfortable and gave us good tips on getting around and what to do. Dinner is prepared each evening on request which was a massive plus for us. Highly recommend this as a great place to stay.

• Hspedo (10/5): Expectations exceeded by very veeeery far - Everything! It was one of the best experiences at hotel I ever had. The host, Hans and the whole family were super kind and very helpful, always available to help with any kind of unforeseen, and as I had a 10 month old baby, this made the stay just wonderful. The food at dinner and morning treats are also exceptional, definitely recommend having all meals there. My stay was too short!
