Guest Reviews
- Michael (10/5): A classy and safe place in Iquique - The owner has a refined and rare class. Especially from what I have since encountered in Chile. The appartment was equipped with all the details you won't find in a hotel room. kitchen towels, extra garbage bags, liquid hand soap microwave etc.. I liked everything. Never before a landlord did not panick and pressure about the rent...this one, not until the third day we finally met and gave him the 5 day rent.
- Nigel (6/5): Disappointing, could be better. - The owner was friendly and helpful with local information. The bed was comfortable. Good sized room with good storage. USB charging points and plug sockets by bed. Within walking distance of bus terminal, supermarkets, main historical street and port. Front entrance door to apartment block very loud when opened and closed, other residents extremely noisy throughout the night.
Main room: Dirty floor, cigarette ash all over balcony, lack of coat hooks, no net curtain, dining chairs felt like they could break any minute and table too small.
Bed: Nylon sheets, which are very uncomfortable to sleep in.
Kitchen: Plastic plates unsuitable for microwave. No other bowls to place in microwave. Microwave only cooking equipment, no hot water in kitchen, nowhere to drain plates, or prepare food, no cutting board, no cutting knives, no drying cloth, glasses in cupboard next to bin, no room to do anything or put food. (Suggestions: remove extractor fan, add cupbard on wall, above sink, shelf next to it for microwave and provide a small stove top for cooking, add a drawer or trays above fridge to take cutlery. Place a larger table and better chairs near cooking area so can be used to prepare food).
Bathroom: door stuck and very noisy to open and close, not always hot water and when there was it wasn't that warm, no bath mat, broken window into general hallway, no hooks or anywhere to hang towels.
- Patricio (9/5): Superb - La hospitalidad de don Enrique
