• Carl (9/5): Perfect little Amsterdam base for a brilliant King’s Day birthday weekend 🇳🇱🧡 - Lovely little apartment in a brilliant De Pijp location. Compact in a really cosy, well-designed way and perfect for a city break. Everything felt clean, comfortable and easy, with great cafés, bars and trams all nearby. We stayed during King’s Day weekend for my birthday celebration and it was an ideal base for exploring Amsterdam while still feeling relaxed and local. Communication from the host was excellent throughout. Honestly very little. It’s a petite apartment, but exactly as described and it worked really well for our stay

• Filip (8/5): Cozy stay at De Pijp - The room was very cozy, the bed was comfortable, fridge was a nice addition and bathroom was clean. The location is fairly accesible by public transport and is also not too touristy. There are great bars and restaurants nearby along the tram line 4. Overall the owner was comunicative and we've enjoyed our stay, it was lovely. We forgot to bring our slippers so we were a bit cold, but the owner bumped up the heating for us, so DON'T forget your slippers in colder months. It was not an issue for us, but you can occasionally hear the neighbours when they are leaving / entering the property, overall the noise from the street was not all that disturbing, we didn't have trouble sleeping. The only thing we were missing were some cleaning utensils so we could better clean up after ourselves such as a sponge for dishes or a small broom. But that is just a nitpick, not an issue.
• Jan (8/5): Guter Ausgangspunkt, um Amsterdam zu Entdecken, zu dem man abends gerne zurück kommt. - Das Zimmer war wirklich schön und liebevoll eingerichtet, das Bett war weich und bequem. Es gab auch eine Kapsel-Kaffeemaschine und Tee, und Stropwaffeln! Die Unterkunft hat ein großes Fenster auf Ebene des Gehwegs, durch das man hinausschauen kann. Mit einem Rollo lässt sich dieses aber auch verdunkeln, und vor neugierigen Blicken von außen schützen. Man ist schnell, entweder fußläufig oder mit der Bahn, mitten in der Stadt. Wir waren im Winter dort, und es wurde leider nachts auch in dem Zimmer ziemlich kalt. Es gab keine Heizung, die man hätte aufdrehen können.
• Teengs (9/5): A pearl amongst diamonds. - This is an absolute gem. It might be small in size, but it generously makes up for that in location, style, comfort and clever use of space. The outside is beautifully preserved architecture. Inside a stylish blend of Amsterdam history and modern comfort, and a good bed. The bathroom is brilliantly done and very spacious. It's location is great cause it's close to... well everything. The large window and sounds of the street put you straight into city-life. A bit noisy at times but I didn't come here for the silence. Very nice, very clean, would definitely recommend this for a city trip.

• Aura (7/5): - The location was excellent, and the flat cozy, clean and tastefully furnished. The area is super easy to get around, with lots of good shops and restaurants in walking distance. It was smaller than we imagined from the photos, so a bit tight for two, and very stuffy and hot because there's only one tiny window that can be opened. It is also on a main road so quite noisy - light sleepers should bring earplugs! (The fridge was very noisy too)

Bed and pillows were super comfortable It was great but the acoustics weren’t amazing. Could hear people outside. Would maybe recommend moving the seat from outside so it deters people from sitting and talking at the middle of the night.

• Vittorio (5/5): Pretty nice location, poor cleaning, smaller than it seems - The room is bright and well decorated, and the shower is very spacious and with a very nice shower head. The room is also provided of a hairdryer, nice towels and tea and coffee pods The room is very noisy because it’s right next to the road at ground floor. It’s even smaller than it feels in the photos. During our stay the owners of the property were making renovations so it was even louder (we could hear them talk and walk in front of our door). The corners and the floor of the room weren’t clean enough and unfortunately we found the kettle of the room completely dirty. We pointed out the issue to the owner and she cleaned it right away for us but it should have been checked from the start. Also during our last night the hot water stopped working so we had to take a cold shower.
• Federico (8/5): As it’s name says, small but lovely - It was very clean and well equipped with basic facilities/needs. Beautiful bathroom and quite a good position related to the price There was no drawer/wardrobe for clothes and the neighbors upstairs were quite noisy even during the night.

• Sam (5/5): Despite the negative stay, the location was definitely a winner for us - Location was great, not so central but close enough to walk or bike. Shower had hot water and the mini fridge in the room helped. Lots of negatives with this place. I've attached some photos for reference. - the smallest sink in the bathroom, was difficult to freshen up without splashing water on the sides/floor - shower doesn't drain properly so you have to stop and wait for the water to drain to prevent overflow/flooding. - shelving unit in the corner is not stable at all. It almost fell on us. I checked the base and saw it wasn't properly attached to it's legs. (picture attached) Please sort this out because there could have been a serious accident. - no AC in the room, gets really hot during the sunny days - window couldn't close as it was so high up so you can hear literally everything. - upstairs is really loud and there was a lot of shouting and banging. - lots of cobwebs in the room, it needs a thorough deep clean. - inside of the kettle was disgusting. The smell was so bad, it had mould inside and left over water. I tried to clean it out myself, but I gave up in the end as it wasn't worth the time and effort. - cutlery and plates provided were dirty also, we didn't use any. - room only had 1 toilet roll during out 5 day stay so we had to buy more ourselves. - there's no handwash in the toilet also.

• Frida (7/5): Overall the room was clean and situated in a good are near public traffic. - The room was clean and the location was very convenient. We visited during the summer so the room was very hot. The bathroom didn’t have a proper door, only a set of twin doors, like s closet. This didn’t bother us since I traveled with a close friend, but it should be taken to account if you travel with someone not so close. There was also no hand soap so we had to use shower gel to wash our hands, so it would be a good idea to buy one there.
• Avalon (5/5): Great location but the apartment could benefit from some more care and basic necessities (hand soap) - The location was great, close to the Amstel river and a 30 minute walk to the city centre. The apartment lacked basic necessities like hand soap, shower gel and toilet paper (there was like 1 and a half rolls for 3 nights so we ended up having to purchase more). The provided coffee machine was dusty and leaked, and the cable had to be manouvered to reach the power point. The apartment itself could have also been cleaned better. Other things we noticed were that the towel rail was hanging off the wall and the shower drain cover kept coming off.

• Irinabaditescu (8/5): Very good - The location of the apartament is very nice and easy to access all the important areas of the city. Also, the view from the apartment is beautiful! There were several areas were it was not clean at all, the mugs were dirty from a long time ago, the towel bar in the bathroom was broken. Also, I think is not ok not to have your towels changed in 6 days or any cleaning done.

• Ruby (9/5): Brilliant access to transport and comfortable bed, nice bathroom too. - Me and my partner were extremely satisfied with how close we were to tram and bus stops, easy to get to the city centre and lots of nice restaurants around. Very comfortable bed and great for a short stay. People above were noisy most nights. Difficult to figure out how to get the door unlocked.
