• Guy (8/5): Magnificent view at the top of a steep hill - The view from the terrace is magnificent. Wonderful for enjoying your morning coffee and breakfast. Also the view of sunsets are beautiful, especially while sipping on a glass of wine. The host is a very friendly, helpful guy who has all sorts of recommendations and a 10 precent discount on his favourite restaurants. The local beach and old town are 15-20 minutes away. As guests have commented before, the location is on the highest road outside the old town. It’s over 400 steps up and down if you take the stairs. You can take the road which is slightly easier, but still a good workout. Or you have the option to take an uber or taxi. My wife and I are in good shape for our age ( mid-sixties) but during a seven night stay it became too much for us. If you’re younger and very fit, maybe no problem. The shower is in an old bathtub and is awkward to climb in and out of as there are no grab bars. Might be a little safer if there was a handle to hold onto around the bathtub as there are no floor is much lower than the bathtub shower fitting.

• Crawford (9/5): Superb - The views are spectacular. Easily accessible by motor vehicle ... not too many steps. Well equipped Not a big problem, but note worthy if you have mobility difficulties, the bathroom is on a different floor from the bedrooms.
• Andrea (9/5): Amazing view, friendly staff! - This property is more like a little townhome than an apartment haha! It’s spacious, everything was clean, the beds were comfy and, my God, THE VIEW! We were in awe with the view. Definitely worth it. Also, the owners were super friendly. My only regret was not staying a few more days. Keep in mind that to get to old town and move around Dubrovnik, there are A LOT of stairs. It’s just how the city is built. The water in the shower does not stay warm for more than a few minutes. But we had already been warned that this could happen. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay!

• Frank (8/5): It was a nice stay but a little far from the city. - The apartment had plenty of room. Great views. The apt location from DBV has about 400 step straight up to reach apt. The shower was not very comfortable for a tall person. There was loud music from a club by the beach from 9p-11p for two nts.

Our host was terrific in providing us with great recommendations for Dubrovnik. The incredible views came at a cost. Unfortunately the number of steps required to get to the apartment made for a taxing stay. We consider ourselves fit, but this tested us. If you struggle at all with stairs, this apartment is not for you.

• Marko (10/5): View that you will not forget - First of all, the host, Stijepo, was the host that you wish for the most of the apartments to have. Extremely friendly, very approachable, explained us everything about what we need to see/avoid during our stay. A big thank you for that. The apartment was clean, has a lot of appliances that you will need during your stay. Bed is very comfortable. And last, but certainly not least, a stunning view from the balcony, that makes your sunrise, sunset or any other part of the day just perfect. The only thing I would emphasize was really small baththub.
• Milos (9/5): Superb - Apartment has great view on old town There is all equipment that you need Owner is really hospitable Beds are comfortable "Studenac" market is close , if you need to buy something Old town is close , you can get there in 6/7 minutes Only bad thing are stairs which lead to old town , when you go there they are nice becuase they are really quick way to get there , but coming back up will be a bit tiring.

• Ljuvica (10/5): Great location, amazing views. - The apartment was perfect. Great location, so close to the beach and the Old City gates, plus grocery stores and restaurants nearby. The host was incredibly helpful and gave us a lot of information. There are MANY steps around, so if you have trouble with stairs this is not for you. However that's most of Dubrovnik near the Old City. The view from the balconies was SO NICE. Could see the water and the Old City walls.
• Julie (10/5): Feels like home and sunset view from the terrace was amazing! - The view from this apartment is stunning! Waking up everyday you are overlooking the old city and the island of Lokrum. We really felt at home here. We had a very nice welcome from Stijepo, he explained to us everything we need to know about Dubrovnik. He is also very reachable if we have additional questions. Everything was closeby. There are public transport bus 8 to the city and bus 10 to Cavtat. The distance from the Old city of Dubrovnik is about 15 minutes by foot. Banje Beach is about 10 minutes walk. The facilities was big enough for the three of us. Dubrovnik has a lot of stairs but it's a good workout. We didn't mind it as enjoyed our time at the beach and the city. Until we check-out Stijepo helped us with our taxi driver who were late. The service was excellent. Thank you so much. Nothing. It exceeds our expectation.

• Marika (9/5): Amazing value for money - but not for those with mobility issues! - I loved the place! The apartment is way bigger than it seems in the photos, a lifesaver on a rainy day. The view from the balcony is superb! The location is also very nice, as long as you are reasonably fit. The shower/bathtub was slightly uncomfortable and you should to be careful not to slip or tumble while using it. The water pressure was great, though. Also, there was no shampoo even if they said so on the information. But these issues are really miniscule! Also, if you are not that fit, there really are a LOT of stairs!😃

Exceptional view from the balcony: the same as the ones they sell in tourist shops as drawings :o) you need to walk a lot of steps to get there ;o)
• Mariela (9/5): Great appartment with excellent views - The apartment was lovely and the views truly excellent! Plus, it had everything we needed and the kitchen was very well equipped, including tea, coffee, oil, and a long etc. Ivana & Stijepo were super attentive hosts, gave lots of good tips on places to eat and visit and they even included a mid-stay clean. We would definitely recommend staying here. Not the hosts fault at all, but the apartment is really high up! People have mentioned it, but be prepared to climb about 300 steps from the old town (or take an uber for €4!). We also found the shower is a bit small and awkward, especially if you're on the tall/big side.

• Reece (10/5): For the short time we stayed there, we enjoyed every minute of it and will definitely be returning! - The apartment definitely exceeded our expectations, much bigger than we thought and the views from the balcony were just incredible, we got to the accommodation a little early due to catching the early flight into Dubrovnik. On arrival we were greeted by the hosts who are so kind. They sat down with us and gave us their recommendations of what to do and where to eat, all in all they were so beyond helpful. The apartment was so clean and we felt so safe. There are quite simply no faults, the only thing I will say is don't use GPS for walking directions - we did this and ended up climbing over a hundred flights of stairs up to the property ;)) but as i stated earlier, there really are no faults to mention - just as long as you sus out the easiest walking routes into the city :) Its about a 15-20 minute walk into the centre of the city.

• Jane (9/5): Superb - The host where very informative. They always responded quickly and wanted to help as much as they can. The apartment was lovely, clean, big and had every thing you may need. The view was amazing, just loved it. The only thing would like to mention was the steep steps to the apartment. We did not mind and would absolutely stay again but I think some might struggle with the amount of steps there is.

• Cornelia (9/5): Fantastic views and very helpful and friendly owners - The apartment was very spacious and the view over Dubrovnik was just breathtaking! The staff went out of their way to accommodate us, very friendly and helpful! It was a bit of a struggle for us to walk up the hill from Dubrovnik to the apartment. Our daughter is 11 but has special needs and can't walk very far by herself so she sits in a special buggy. But this is no fault of the apartment / owners, we should have researched this a bit better ourselves. We did take a taxi a few times but they are quite expensive. It did keep us fit though ;-)!
