- Barbara (10/5): - Wspaniali właściciele, życzliwi i pomocni.
Piękny ogród, miejsca na relaks nie brakuje.
Codziennie świeże ręczniki, śniadanie wystarczające w zupełności, pyszny dżem pomarańczowy domowej roboty. Pobyt uwazam za bardzo udany.

- Hayley (10/5): The most fantastic holiday with lovely people and please listen to Tony’s suggestions as we did and had the most amazing - Absolutely amazing place with lots of history, cosy, beautiful and central to most things ❤️ There was nothing not to like ❤️
- Kenneth (8/5): Koselig sted med hyggelig vertskap. - Hyggelig personale og koselige sted. Fin hage og bassengområde. Hadde ikke betalingsterminal. Måtte ta ut penger og betale kontant
- Christopher (9/5): We loved it. - The approach to the guesthouse is a long alley to a door which we were slightly unsure about but behind the door is an oasis which is a fantastic surprise which we liked. Not a major issue to us but the guesthouse didn't take visa or mastercard so we had to pay cash.

- Guest (9/5): Parfait ! - Très belle maison, dans un jardin idyllique, au calme et très bien située.
Les hôtes adorables et très à l'écoute, nous ont donné plein de bons conseils pour visiter.
- Robyn (10/5): - Great hosts. Fab breakfasts. Nice outdoor dining areas and pool. Good position away from city centre and near lovely Port Cruz Harbour

- kjellvestad (8/5): - Very nice and caring staff and a good breakfast. A cozy place to stay with good walking distance from the old town etc. Would really recommend.
- Laura (10/5): Wonderful friendly guesthouse with fantastic hosts and a great pool. - We lived the location of the property. Close to the ferry port and short bus ride into the old town. We loved the homely atmosphere at the property. The pool was a lovely addition after a morning exploring. Toni the owner was very helpful and we loved the cocktails around the pool which were made by his son. Our room was a little small once we unpacked but absolutely fine for a few nights.
- Marcin (10/5): - Excellent location, beautiful garden and very relaxing swimming pool area. Close to the nearby restaurants and shops. Very friendly hosts!
- Chloe (10/5): - A fantastic place to stay. The owners and staff are super and gave us great recommendations for food. Nice breakfast selection. Fab pool which gets the sun throughout the day. Feels secluded although great location for the port, restaurants and bus routes into old town.
- Paul (10/5): Perfect stay - An absolutely brilliant stay at Bokun Guesthouse. The location couldn’t be better. Right on the water which is ideal for boat trips etc and only a 30 minute walk to and from the old town (although the bus is also incredibly easy). Toni was very accommodating and had some great advice. Breakfast was great and the cocktails we had by the pool were genuinely the best we had anywhere in Dubrovnik. Would recommend this place to anyone who was going to Dubrovnik. 10/10 The room could do with an iron but other than that it was perfect.
- Emmanuel (9/5): -
- Guest (10/5): - L’emplacement, le logement, le petit déjeuner.. rien à dire tout était parfait! Je recommande!
- Deborah (10/5): Totally recommend Bokun guest house we had a fantastic stay - Lovely and clean - Great location - gorgeous garden and the pool was a bonus. Everything was perfect. Nothing but maybe you could take card payments
- Zvi (9/5): Great stay! - The guesthouse is very pleasant and calm. Beautiful garden.
Very nice pool. Everything is well maintend.
Tonny and his wife are great. Very helpful.
The stay was very enjoyable.
We will surly stay there again.
- Phillipa (10/5): Perfection, lovely hosts and exceptional accommodation. - Hosts are amazing. Pool is a bonus. Room was clean and tidy and perfect for our stay. Nothing, everything was perfect.
- Sarah (8/5): Fantastic stay in a little oasis in Dubrovnik - Very friendly lovely relaxed atmosphere There was a machine type noise coming from behind the house, no fault of the owners but it is noticeable when relaxing around the pool
- Louise (9/5): Beautiful Oasis - A beautiful oasis, in busy Dubrovnik and just a 35 min walk into the old town or 7 mins on the bus.The owners were so helpful and knowledgeable and nothing was ever any bother. Maggie who helped keep guests happy was a ray of sunshine. Breakfast was lovely . Hot chocolate croissants/ croissants, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, toast, home made orange marmalade, eggs done in many ways, bacon, sausages + +. The eating area was a shared space outside under vines and what looked like Kiwis 🥝, where food brought in could be shared if you wished and friends made. The pool was spotless and sun loungers so comfortable. Just gorgeous.
Lots to see and do. We purchased a Dubrovnik Pass for 7 days which was well worth the 60€. The pass didn't work on the bus at all so just go to a bus ticket kiosk and they will issue a ticket for the bus after youve shown them you've bought the Dubrovnik Pass. Tourist information will also supply this.
The sea is just fabulous. So clean. A trip to Cavtat ( No 10 bus took 40 mins) is so worth the trip. We travelled back by water taxi but I do suggest you book your return ticket as you arrive, as it gets busy going home. Mosquitos feasted, so definitely take repellent!
Our room was a little bit too small for us and we did get bruises banging into the metal bed frame (very comfy bed though) but we were out alot so we managed. We knew the size of our room beforehand but with all our stuff in it, it was just a bit tight.
Buses...manners go out the window! You stand in the sun at the bus stop melting in the heat and then suddenly like cockroaches people run from the shadows to the bus in swarms. It was not nice. Anyone with a disability or elderly stood no chance unless someone took charge to assist...which didn't always happen. Bus journeys definitely gave me anxiety.
- Jennifer (9/5): Superb -
- Jurczyk (10/5): Our stay at this place was absolutely exceptional! - Our stay at this place was absolutely exceptional! The property is beautiful – a well-kept garden full of wonderful flowers makes you feel like you’re in a fairytale. The pool is a real gem – clean and perfect for relaxing on hot days.
The breakfasts were delicious, fresh, and very diverse – every morning started with a smile.
But the biggest impression was made by the hosts’ hospitality – incredibly kind, helpful, and warm-hearted. Thanks to them, we felt like we were visiting good friends. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, comfort, and genuine hospitality! —-
- Aleksandra (10/5): Oasis in the City - Thank you very much – I’m so glad we were able to stay with you. The hotel has a fantastic location – just 10 minutes by bus to the old town, and the harbor is very close. I’ve never seen such a beautiful garden – it’s truly an oasis. Breakfast in the garden is the highlight of this hotel – everything was delicious, with fresh and high-quality food. The beds are very comfortable. We would love to come back! - nothing to complain about
- Susan (10/5): A little piece of heaven. - We loved everything! Nothing, everything was perfect! An authentic guesthouse with such wonderful hosts. Nothing was any trouble and we were made to feel so very welcome. We will definitely visit again.
- Tom (10/5): Great experience, would stay there again. - Our stay at Bokun Guesthouse was exceptional. Toni was a great host and provided suggestions about things to do. The breakfast was very good. The grounds were amazing with all of the flowers.
- John (10/5): See my comments above. We loved the place!!! - Excellent breakfast and especially a very warm welcome from Toni and later his wife Rosa who couldn't do more for us. The whole ambiente with the garden , trees and home grown fruits and vegetables was brilliant My only complaint is that that the wash basin in the bathroom was a bit small which made it difficult if you shave with soap and a razor
- Polly (9/5): Welcoming Guesthouse - Our hosts were warm and welcoming and tended with detail to all our needs! They shared helpful city information and recommended great restaurants in Dubrovnik!
The historic property has been beautifully updated to accommodate guests! Rooms are cozy, clean, and bed was very comfortable! The gardens on the grounds are lovely and added a feeling of home to our stay.
The location, though on a main street, is a quiet spot tucked away from the noise of the city. Just look for the Bokun Guesthouse sign posted along the street to approach the property.
The location is moderate walking distance to Old Town (1.5miles) and within easy bus access as well.
- Christoph (9/5): friendly service, nice location, bus terminal, ferry boats, old town easy to reach - service, location, room style, friendliness, garden bathroom was really
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely apartment, beautiful gardens, exceptionally friendly and helpful hosts Toni and Rosa
- Jane (10/5): Our stay was more than I expected. Perfect property perfect location and the owner Toni and his team were delightful hos - Beautiful property. Lovely location. The grounds were beautiful with fruit trees and a pool area and a lot of outdoor space to relax We loved it all
- Bob (10/5): We absolutely loved our stay, lovely hidden gem! - Room was small but adequate, comfortable and clean. The pool was well kept, clean. The location was exceptional, right across from the marina, where you could take the ferry to other islands and where you would take boat trips to other islands. Very convenient. The host were very helpful. There wasn't anything I didn't like about our stay, we have shared this accommodation with several friends.
- Amanda (8/5): Nice place to stay but poor breakfast - Bokun guest house was very clean thanks to Magdalena. Tony the owner gave us lots of useful information. The garden is beautiful with lots of fruit trees and beautiful flowers. The swimming pool was a bonus to chill around as our flight home was not until late at night. Sad to say the breakfast was poor there was a very small amount of hot food and within 30 mins of breakfast starting it was gone. When we asked for more we were told there wasn’t any more bacon etc. It would be better to not to have any hot food but offer a higher quality of continental breakfast. We had a king size bed but with double top sheets and blankets
- Maria (10/5): A wonderful stay in a beautiful location. - Bokun is a beautiful place to stay at , all staff were wonderful & helpful & our room was spotlessly clean . It’s easy reach to Dubrovnik old town by taxi or foot . The pool was an extra bonus & had a relaxing last day there before our taxi picked us up . We could have done with extra hooks for towels to hang up & more storage for clothes , also a mirror in our room would have made it better .
Breakfast was a buffet, 8am- 10am but most mornings the bacon ran out by 8.30 & was told no more would be cooked . I think breakfast let the place down a bit .
- Joanne (10/5): Hidden little gem in beautiful Dubrovnik 😃 - Lovely, warm family run guesthouse ideally located near a beautiful harbour and within easy reach of the old town. Excellent facilities, bags of character and genuine friendship from hosts. We would thoroughly recommend this property for people of all ages, families and couples. We loved our 2 week stay Nothing!
- Isobel (9/5): Superb - Lovely location by the port, so 30 mins walk to old town or beaches, or 10 mins on one of the many buses.
It’s an area of tranquility once you open the door from the street, large garden surrounds the property filled with colourful flowers and fruit trees.
Substantial buffet breakfast inc hot options.
Tony and his team are very friendly and helpful.
We booked independently and stayed for three nights, but it is also an accredited jet2 accommodation choice, whose guests typically stay for 7 days+ and are generally more mature.
One of the advantages of the latter is that Tony also organises some trips for guests.
Couldn’t fault our stay and happy to recommend.
- Debbie (10/5): A lovely place to stay. Toni was very helpful recommending places to eat and to visit. Will definitely visit again. - Lovely gardens
The swimming pool
Excellent breakfast
Friendly staff Nothing
- Doris (10/5): Bokun guesthouse- hidden gem! - Amazing, hidden gem! Great location, fabulous pool and gardens. Room nice and very comfortable bed. Good breakfast, fresh fruit, bread, pastries, yogurts, bacon, eggs, sausages and nice coffee. Quiet and peacefull. I will definetly retun. Host was amazing and helpfull.
- Joanne (9/5): Superb -
- Danielle (7/5): Nice place to stay - A lovely place to stay. Easy to walk for the beach (about 30 minutes)
Shop near by
Easy bus access to the old town
Places to eat near by
Lovely by the harbour
Room cosy
Very friendly family feel
Ice machine and lots of seating space
Lovely breakfast
Air conditioning was lovely Bed wasn't made up each day / towels changed.
Fridge wasn't brilliant in the room.
There was no clear message that we had to pay by cash. There was a bank nearby, however we had to spend £15 for charges in total which although it isn't much, it is still an extra and the pain of going to the bank for a few days to withdraw. If we had have been told we would have brought the cash with us.
Sadly by an error the last day was slightly spoilt by an accident with the pool which meant we had no pool. Would have maybe been nice for the owner to offer something.
- Anita (10/5): Would love to go back! - Beautiful setting, friendly host. Lovely peaceful pool area.
- David (10/5): A wonderful relaxing stay in Dubrovnik - After the busy-ness, hustle and bustle of the wonderful old town - the guest house is just perfect for a chilled and relaxed break. Suited us and our older teenagers very well. Beds are very comfy, AC is excellent, breakfast is just right, the pool is lovely, plenty of chairs, peaceful garden. Toni and Magdalena are friendly and helpful for anything you need. Location is perfect too! Oh ..and the ice machine is a brilliant touch we’ve never had in a guesthouse before. Nothing, everything was excellent
- Mason (10/5): Perfection ! - The Guesthouse is absolutely gorgeous, the pool was perfect for calm mornings or swimming late at night. We loved walking around the gardens and looking at the birds come down to get a drink from the pool. We could have had a little more guidance - when we arrived we weren’t told about the ice machine for guests or the tap for water but the owner explained once we asked which was perfect !
- Angelene (10/5): Perfect location, perfect guesthouse, perfect staff! Couldn't be better. - The pool was accessible 24/7. We were able to feel like we were at home. It was a very comfortable environment, with great conversation with the staff. The staff went above and beyond to exceed our expectations.
- Lee (10/5): When we arrived you wouldn’t have even known this property was here then you open the door and WOW and from then it was - Everything from the moment you walk in till the moment you leave . This Guesthouse is run by and Toni and his family and is excellent .Breakfast plentiful ,the gardens and pool area lovely to be around for a lazy pool day.Cannot recommend this Guesthouse enough 5 ***** Nothing!!!!
- Albert (10/5): Relaxed enjoyable - Small friendly, super hosts, loved the family atmosphere Nothing
- Hugh (9/5): Perfect place to stay to sample the delightful Dubrovnik - Fantastic guesthouse with a lovely family feel about it. Great location, fabulous owners and just so relaxing. Toni gave us great recommendations on things to do and where to eat. Only had 3 nights there!
- Robyn (10/5): Lovely experience - Tony and Magdalena were wonderful! It was a beautiful, convenient location, and the hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The air conditioning worked well, and the water pressure in the shower was amazing! The pool was lovely and you can swim any time, which I really love, because I enjoy a good night dip! The breakfast was great and had a nice variety of items. Tony offers a private boat trip with a friend of his around to a few local islands, and it was lovely! The guys are fun and cooked a delicous dinner and offered local brewed wine and rakjia! Such a good time! The bathroom was very tiny, and the way that the corner of the shower on the floor protruded, I stubbed my toe on it a couple of times, and it was rather painful. Other than that, we had absolutely no complaints!
- Jane (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jenny (9/5): A gem of a place to stay, a perfect oasis of calm. - Great location, an absolute oasis of calm after the crowds in Dubrovnik. The pool and gardens were gorgeous, we loved being able to relax and enjoy the space with no-one around. Comfy bed, lovely room. Close to an amazing veggie/vegan restaurant, great recommendations from owner on local bars and restaurants. Easy to walk to Dubrovnik old town but even easier to uber, perfect for a late night drink without the day trippers. Near the harbour for ferry trips to lovely islands, inexpensive and avoiding the Game of Thrones tourist trail! A 30 min walk to Lapad to watch the stunning sunset with the locals. It was everything we like when we travel, we loved it. Not a dislike but I didn't read the small print and realise that we had to pay cash for our stay but there are cash machines nearby so it was no issue at all.
- Irēna (10/5): Exceptional - Communication was the key. All clear, approachable and easy.
Room clean, comfortable and great value fot money.
Our stay was short, but we feel welcomed and very well taken care of.
- Emma (10/5): Relaxing and lovely meeting Toni the owner and Maggie, thank you. - A beautiful family run guesthouse, relaxed, friendly, clean, lovely gardens. Peaceful and in a perfect location with bus stops close by for an easy ride to the old town.
Lovely to chat to the other guests over breakfast. All was good.
- Jacquie (9/5): We had a great stay at Bokun Guest House and would recommend. - We had a lovely stay. Toni was welcoming & helpful & the guesthouse was very clean & had a beautiful garden. If was a real little oasis . Magdelena always had a smile on her face & helped make our stay as comfortable as possible. The fridge in the room was not very good.
- Stewart (10/5): Wonderful place, in an excellent location, with brilliant people - Tony and the team have been phenomenal
- David (9/5): Great location and caring host. - Great attentive host means you can't really ever have any problems.
Location is ideal. Guesthouse is clean spacious and relaxed. Breakfast all good.
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (9/5): An oasis behind the plain door. - Well appointed, peaceful, and the friendliest people. It’s a little way out from the old city, but there is an excellent cheap bus service. Toni gave us a very informative run down on the city, and everything you need to know.
Magdalena prepares the breakfast, and like everyone else, friendly and helpful. I can’t think of anything.
- Celia (9/5): Superb - Friendly and informative host. Comfortable room.
Breakfast quite good.
- Annabel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dougie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Louise (9/5): Superb -
- Caroline (9/5): I want to go back! - Even arriving after dark I could see how stunning this place was. A charming guesthouse with beautiful gardens. The breakfast has a good choice of cereal, fruit, pancakes, toast, jam, eggs, ham, cheese etc. Lovely, friendly staff too. Tony will give you advice on the local area and where to visit. It is located near the port so good for boat trips, and only a short bus ride to the Old Town. Absolutely fantastic holiday! My one suggestion would be to have a few more sunbeds around the pool.
- Emma (9/5): Superb -
- Rosie (9/5): Superb -
- Hilary (9/5): Superb - Wonderful place to stay, quiet although close to Gruz waterfront. Toni was exceptionally welcoming & gave us all the information we needed to explore Dubrovnik. Old Town is a longish walk away but plenty of buses available too.
- Niamh (9/5): Superb -
- Ivo (10/5): Best located quiet guesthouse in Dubrovnik - Spacious appartment, full equiped (also product against mosquitos).
Delicious breakfast and host is a real entertainer.
Boattrip was big success. Busstops nearby. Nothing
- Kevin (8/5): Very good - A great host who went the extra mile. No need for a rep when Toni is there. Would stay again. Nothing
- Lesley (10/5): Exceptional - Bokun house was like a little oasis in the middle of the city In the port area so a bit of a walk to old town but an easy bus ride. Lovely gardens swimming pool and great staff. Toni and family were wonderful hosts we would highly recommend it
- Saleem (10/5): Why bother staying anywhere else in Dubrovnik - was excellent in every aspect from Location - Accommodation - Pool - Gardens - Staff - Charm - Knowledge of host - staff friendliness - Breakfast - Coffee - Birdlife in garden - location to good eateries.
- Brooks (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yoe (9/5): Beautiful BnB - The location is perfect for us. less than 10 mins walk from the regional main bus station and only a few mins bus ride to Old town. It is also walking distance to supermarket and several great restaurants.
The property is really beautiful, surrounded by flowers and vegetable garden.
The breakfast is simple but enough. choices of croissants and bread with ham and cheeses, eggs, sausage or bacon and several jams, yogurts, cereal, granola, and fruits.
- Margaret (10/5): beautiful terrace breakfast each morning, friendly and helpful owner, wife and staff, good breakfast each day, clean and - great location, quiet place with a beautiful garden and terrace, great location by the port, frequent buses into the centre of the old town, supermarket nearly, local shops and restaurants. nothing
- Dominic (9/5): Superb -
- Sai (9/5): Superb - Scenic environment Lack of washing facilities. No food materials, such as oil, aluminum foil, etc. in the kitchen
- Casey (10/5): Idyllic garden location close to everything - Great location near Gruz Harbour but nestled within high walls and a secret garden. You'd never know you were next to a main road.
Bus stops to the old town and other towns were only a 5 minute walk away, as was the supermarket.
Beautiful garden surroundings for your continental breakfast and cereals, very peaceful.
Staff and owner made us feel at home and were very informative.
We'll definitely be recommending friends and family to stay here if they want to visit Dubrovnik
- Alison (7/5): Had an enjoyable stay, clean accommodation, friendly and helpful owner - Lovely welcome, room clean and fresh, good location. Nice being able to sit out for breakfast. Very helpful owner who can advise on places to go or see. Shower was cold, no hot water. Breakfast was same for the 3 days but adequate. It was cold in the evenings and no heat.
- Conal (9/5): Great trip made extra special by Toni and Magdeline. - Lovely property spotless throughout with beautiful grounds full of various types of fruit trees and flowers. Pool area and sun beds were a welcome treat after walking round city. Toni gave us invaluable advice about tourist attractions, transport and places to eat. Nothing
- Penny (10/5): A chilled place to explore the whole of Dubrovnik. - A historic building, very comfortable with a family atmosphere. Very convenient position, close to the attractive port area, beeches and buses. Tony and the staff were always helpful and willing to advise.
- Susanne (8/5): Would recommend to a friend! - We loved the location which was beside the marina/port for getting boat tours and just a short walk to the bus into the old town or a very manageable walk there (depending on temperature). Tony, Rose and their team were incredibly hospitable. They offered a welcome drink or arrival and gave us lots of helpful recommendations. The breakfast was tasty, and impressively, many of the fruits and vegetables were grown in their own garden. Our room was a little small but perfectly clean and well kept, as was the shower room. A mirror in the bedroom would be a great addition!
- Janet (5/5): Nice but overpriced - Nice location at the harbour. Lovely gardens. Vegetarian restaurant close by. Way too expensive. Breakfast was basic and quite boring. Rooms quite small.
- Kieran (10/5): Exceptional - loved all the fresh fruit growing, and the pool area. perfect for a more relaxing stay in Dubrovnik.
- Julie (10/5): what a most beautiful gem - would 100% recommend - An amazing find in the beautiful resort of Lapad and within walking distance of the old ton of Dubrovnik, Tony and his family are exceptionally welcoming and the breakfasts including fruit and vegetables and jams home grown and made from their beautiful garden.
it almost feels like you are a guest of their beautiful home - which I guess you are nothing - it was perfect
- Karen (9/5): Fabulous! Would absolutely recommend - location , owner and staff ..a paradise oasis in a hot busy city. It would possibly benefit if it had somewhere to dry wet towels for the first floor rooms even just a couple more hooks in the bedroom or bathroom would be ok .
- John (10/5): Little haven in the city - Tony, the guest house owner, is a gent. Always around and happy to help. Like wise with his team - they area all genuinely happy to look after you. Everywhere is well kept. Home grown fruit for breakfast every morning. Location is about 25 min walk from old town, but means you are central to everything there is to see and do. Boat trip tony arranges through some friends is really good.
