The room is looking a bit tired, with some washed out bedding, but the room was clean. I wish they would mark the hotel name more clearly from the street side. The Wi-Fi did not work, even after the owner did try and add his phone for the guests to connect to. I also had a massive problem with my luggage. My flight time was very late, and they would not allow me to leave my luggage with this the taxi arrived later that evening. In the end I had to book another cheap room to be able to leave my luggage there.

I left an item at the place and was able to recover it thanks to the host’s help - I really love the location—it’s close to everything and just steps away from bus stops and MTR stations, making it very easy to get around. It’s also conveniently located near many attractions, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Everything is very accessible. Alifah and the owner were extremely kind and truly went above and beyond our expectations. If I ever come back, I would definitely choose to stay here again. I’ve already recommended this place to my friends, colleagues, and on our pages. None. I love everything there

La salle de bain peut surprendre mais reste fonctionnelle.Grand plus : le service bagage qui permet de laisser ses affaires avant l'arrivée et après le départ. Comme partout à Hong Kong, l'espace dans la chambre est optimisé.
• Jan (9/5): Prima schone plek op toplocatie - Prima kamer, hou rekening met weinig ruimte. Alles schoon. Lokatie is hartje centrum. Ook prima te doen vanaf airport. Douche en toilet zit in dezelfde kleine ruimte. Dus als je doucht wordt je toilet nat. Maar als je s avonds weer terug komt is alles droog en schoon. Geen ramen, en beetje warm snachts. Wel airco die het goed doet.

• Andrés (8/5): Igual que en las fotos - Muy buena ubicación, perfecta para conectar con todos los sitios mediante el MTR y muy fácilmente llegar desde el aeropuerto. Llegamos y nuestra pieza tenía el baño roto, pero nos ofrecieron cambiarnos a otra pieza más grande en otro edificio al día siguiente. Solución muy rápida y entendible.

We ride bus to and from the airport which is more convenient with our luggages and with a toddler. Kawloon park is minute walk which we love for our toddler. Size of the room, but for the price it’s just about right in HK

• Kyoko (9/5): Happy with the stay and highly recommended - Great location – Just a few steps from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station and close to Chungking Mansions where you can find money changers offering good exchange rates. Staff – Very helpful and friendly. Room – The building is a bit dated and the room was not very spacious for the three of us but this is quite normal for mid-range hotels or guesthouses in Hong Kong. That said, it was clean and comfortable enough for our stay. We checked out early in the morning (around 6 a.m.) and everything went smoothly. There’s an airport bus stop right in front of the building, though we opted for a taxi which was easy to hail from the street. We had three suitcases and due to the size of the room it was a bit tricky to open them and take things out.

Great location right outside mrt station and many good eateries and convenience stores and shops in walking distance before booking I had read about the loud water pipes, but I did not expect they were SO loud. I could hear them after wearing good earplugs. rooms are crammed which in itself is ok, but it’s crammed to the degree that I really worried about fire hazards while I lived there.

• Evgeniy (10/5): Best location, good for overnight. - The location is the best, that's it. The size of the room is just a common thing in Hong Kong because of the lack of the land territory for this country, so just deal with it. Still, it was comfortable to be here just for overnight, because you have to explore Hong Kong, not just sit in the hotel the whole days. There was some issue with hot water in the late night, but I guess it the communal service problem of the whole building.

• Girlie (8/5): Pleasant place to stay - It was a cozy stay, the rooms are clean and tidy, the caretaker is very approachable and friendly. It is very accessable to MTR and bus, and restaurants are just nearby... The only downside is the space, the rooms are so tiny and having 4 in 1 room, it's already crowded. But overall, it was a nice one.

• Tuhin (9/5): Superb - The location. Victoria harbour is a 10 minute walk and kowloon Park is a 2 minute' walk. In front of Nathan road. Tsim Sha sui train station c2 gate is a 1 minute Walk. Metro station entry and exit points are within 1-2 minutes. There are many restaurants nearby, including Hong Kong milk tea restaurants. If you want everything within your reach then this place is for you 🙏👍 Rooms are small but ok.

• Tomoyuki (7/5): Perfectly location. Save money here so you can eat all the amazing food in the neighborhood. - The location cannot be beat. It is exactly in the middle of Tsim Sha Tsui, within a block of the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR subway station, the A21 bus to the airport and a hundred good restaurants (including two street food places recommended by Michelin) and several good coffee shops. About a ten minute walk from the star ferry dock. Not much to complain about since price and location were the most important to me. The room is nothing special but functional and clean: two full size beds and a bathroom/shower. Very quiet and fine for sleeping and rest. The manager of the guest house lives there and is always available. Slightly hard to find but not with the these directions: Take bus A21 and get off at Stop 13. Kimberley Road, walk in the same direction as the bus for a block and half and cross to the other side of Nathan Road at the first light. Keep walking in the same direction as the bus for half a block, past Rolex and you will come upon the nondescript beige entrance corridor to Harilela Mansion adjacent to FIT 24 (only the number 81 is visible at the entrance, not the name Harilela Mansion). On the way back to the airport, the A21 bus stop is about 15 feet from this entrance corridor. I recommend you buy a tourist Octopus card so you are not fiddling with cash on the bus. It has many other advantages. I was a little thrown by the 100 HKD refundable key deposit, but spent it at the airport on good food.

• Mary (10/5): Clean comfortable quiet affordable - We booked last Nov 1st for 5 days and 4 nights, It’s our 2nd time in Hk and again we stayed also in a guesthouse. We are a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 kids (15,13,4) I’m glad my family loved where we stay☺️. It’s walking distance to MTR’s and other attractions in Tsim Sha Tsui. it’s also near to affordable food stalls and restaurants. What I like about this place is from the time that I got my booking and message the property I immediately got a reply and Ms.Lee is really accommodating and help me with everything that I request. Also the helper (sorry I forgot Ate’s name🙂‍↕️) was really friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Ate cleaned room everyday and change towels, there’s also free toiletries and you can get drinking water outside the reception area. Our room was for 4 pax with window and has nice street view. Also elevators is small but is not that crowded.Over all experience was really nice and comfortable☺️ If we are going back again I will surely book again in this guesthouse☺️

• Chrissy (10/5): Great place to stay. Very quiet. - I stayed at all three branches (Harilela, Burlington, and Haiphon). Harilela and Burlington were absolutely fantastic. Clean, quiet, and well-appointed. There was a fridge and hot water inside the room, and a microwave in the common area. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was very good. The Haipon branch was not as good though; a little bit more noise from other guests and the bathroom not as good. It was still good though, just not as good as the other two branches. Nothing; it was great.

• Richard (8/5): Conveniently located Hong Kong-style city accommodation. - As expected. Very tiny room, as advertised with just he basics like bed, shower and toilet. Refrigerator in the roo a welcome bonus, though I only used it to cool water bottles. Neat and tidy, secure and private. Perfect for solo traveller. No water delivered daily, had to buy my own, but not expensive. The place is very hard to find as it is up several levels inside a Hong Kong "mansion" (apartment/business building). Communicating with mansion staff for information and signage can be tricky/lacking. I booked a stay at one branch, went to the wrong branch, then was taken to the correct branch about 200m down the road by a staff member, which was helpful. Upon arrival at the other branch we were told I was put in a different branch around the corner in a different mansion, so another person took me down there where I actually stayed. Wasn't a problem as everything is quite close and it turned out to be an even better location across the road from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station and closer to the harbour. To call it a "double" bed was a bit ambitious! But it was okay.

The lady was pleasant. The building itself has a bit of a shady feel, aesthetically it is not the best. You basically shower over the toilet as it’s a wet room and everything gets wet.

• Ian (8/5): Very good - I needed a stopover for a few nights. Tai San Guesthouse ticked all the boxes. Great location to get around the sights. Google maps will get you to the front door. Use lifts 2 or 3 and head to the 9th floor. Turn left, you can't miss the signs! I knew it was a small room with a wet room shower. It was fine for me but would be super cosy for a couple with luggage.

The lady who checked me in was efficient and most importantly, saved me from leaving a valuable item behind in the room when I left for the airport. Everything was clean, secure, and as advertised. It was like staying at an auntie's apartment (ignore the aesthetics, everything else makes up for it). There was a fridge under the desk and no chair, but not a big deal for me to find one so I could do some work. The room could use a refresh (walls). I knew the room had no windows, but it was more disorienting than I expected not to have one and know if it was day or night.

Perfect for a few days whilst solo travelling I felt safe in the apartment block and the guest house. A gem of a find. I would definitely come back here! Nothing
