- Marie (7/5): Nice place if you want to take a early bus from the Busterminal. - It’s a nice place for one or two nights. Especially when you want to catch a bus at the busterminal. (20min walk)
There are some rooms with shared kitchen and bathroom.
Our room was good for sleeping with a sofa and comfy bed.
The bathroom was clean.
Kitchen with some cooking equipment you can use and big fridge.
Also the balcony are super nice with great view at night. The shower was really small ( for a tall man is difficult to shower there).
The kitchen could be a little bit cleaner and more stuff would be nice (but the cleanliness depends also on the guests).
Really load area and barely isolated (but that’s common in South America…)

- Katarzyna (1/5): perfect if you are deaf - very kind owner, we were able to check-in earlier, right after arrival, nice terrace, supermarket downstairs and few nice restaurance in distance of short walk, but stop close to entrance. unfortunately, for this room should not be taken any charge. Building is right on the corner of very main streets therefore its so noisy that we could sleep just between 2am and 5am. the fan was not enough and opening the windows does not help at all as the exhaust fumes are getting inside, we literally felt as homeless, there was no difference between sleeping outside on the street and sleeping in this room. everything was covered by thin layer of dirt and should be cleaned deeply. We could not relax at all. I do not reccomend this room, maybe others in this building are better.

- Natalia (8/5): Good for two nights - Rosa was amazing! Super responsive, gentil and helpful. The facilities were good for our two nights stay. It was very noisy, we could heard everything from the street. Even with earplugs was very noisy.
- Daniel (5/5): - The hostess is very nice and helps you with your things. They offer laundry service and are accommodating for early check in and late check out. Rooms are mostly clean-ish. Local neighborhood with grocery store below, gym and everything you need close. I felt safe here as a foreigner. The noise is really really bad. On a main avenue and it's hard to sleep. I mean I'm a bit of a lightsleeper but even with noise canceling headphones I found it hard to get to sleep and would wake at 5am every morning with the traffic and honking.

- Luisa Fernanda (10/5): - La señora Dora muy buena anfitriona y buena para charlar , excelente persona.
- Beth (9/5): -
- Alice (1/5): Valuables are not safe here - No idea how or by whom, but almost 300€ were stolen from our room during the day when it was locked.
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional -
- Flo (10/5): Exceptional - The owner is very sweet and wants to make your stay perfect. The rooms are clean and well taken care off, the neighborhood is very nice. It's a local neighborhood without all the (expensive) tourist fuzz that Poblado and Laureles have. There is a bakery across the street that is open for 24h, there is a supermarket next to the hostel and a lot of cheap eats in the neighborhood. The botanical garden is in walking distance just as the metro. The locals in the neighborhood are very kind. When we left our room the first time we saw that the door didn't lock properly, we told the owner and she called a lock smith right away to fix the lock. Amazing service!!
- Jonathan (8/5): Very good -
- Gerardo (9/5): Superb -
- Akvilė (9/5): Super nice host, but not the nicest neighborhood at night - Super friendly host and lots of local stores around A bit dirty kitchen, and to get to the property when it's dark can feel very unsafe.
- Juliette (7/5): Good -
- Gerardo (9/5): Hiding in Plain Sight - The location was fine. Typical Hostel and a great, nice, and polite owner. Nothing. Everything was as expected and described.
- Alicia (8/5): Very good - Room was clean, good bathroom with utensils, a bit dirt at the walls, really friendly staff who let us choose a room between two The kitchen was only for use during the morning because of smells and it was not that good equipped (no salt, not that much plates and quite dirty dishes)
- Amalie (10/5): Exceptional - The owner was very nice - super flexible with check in and getting our bags after check out. Loved the balcony - had a nice view. A supermarket just beside. The metro not too far away
- Lenka (5/5): Passable - Senora Dolor was really friendly and welcoming.
The bathroom was really good The noise was the biggest issue. The hostel is located right next to a busy road. The traffic and noise from the streets wouldn't stop during the night either. The room did not have proper windows that would block the noise at least partially. If you are a light sleeper, do not stay here. We had to cut our stay short because of this. You can find other accommodation in Medellin for the same price that is in a much calmer neighbourhood.
The room and the kitchen were not cleaned properly either.
- Zabala (10/5): Exceptional - Excelente atencion
- Anthony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hachig (7/5): Typical budget in but super noisy location - It is a nice, budget inn. The location is in a very active, lively neighborhood. Dora, the manager is nice. There is a terrific supermarket a few steps from the front door! The sad part is the noise. I could get used to the road traffic at the busy intersection, but the blaring reggaeton was too much for me. I couldn't shut that out easily at 3:00 in the morning. If not for this, I would have given it an 8/10.
It is a budget inn with all the typical issues of a budget inn.
- Yurii (8/5): Very good - Nice, kind hostess, she helped, told and showed everything It’s not clear how to enter the hostel; there are no identifying signs on the street. There is no kettle and no coffee machine.
- Davide (6/5): Pleasant -
- David (8/5): Very good - Friendly owner, good facilities and lovely terreace Not a central location
- Andre033 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Erkut (8/5): Very good - Friendly staff and a nice hostel with two kitchens. The bathroom was not always too clean...
- Kyle (7/5): Good -
- Beatriz (10/5): Exceptional - Doña Dora is an angel
- Sebastian (9/5): Superb - The property was really really clean. The host was really friendly and resourceful.
- Davide (9/5): Superb -
- Helena (9/5): Superb - Located right next to supermarket and only 10 min by car to bus terminal norte, feels safe, basic rooms but has everything you need, very friendly and helpful owner Kitchen could have been cleaner, traffic outside is loud if you’re noise sensible
- Carla (10/5): Good value for money private room in shared apartment - Good communication, arranged late checkin when my bus was very delayed. Simple, comfortable room with table, kitchen with cooker and fridge. Good shower. Nice common area. Location is uphill from the botanical gardens, walking distance to metro. Various shops and restaurants close by. Felt like a nice neighbourhood.
- Lizeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helene (4/5): Don't go, unless you want to stay awake ! - Dora was super nice and flexible. Not clean (kitchen need to be refurbished)
Super noisy from the street, feels like sleeping on the highway ! Literally !!!! Sleep with earplugs!
The bed is not good.
Don't walk from the bus station, especially at night ! 30 mins... Feels like 1h in a bad neighborhood... (Around the hostel, it's safe)
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Șerban (9/5): Superb - Excellent value for the money, very kind host. Rooms are small, but cozy. We appreciated the powerful ventilator, it's a lifesaver in hot days. The neighborhood is a little rowdy and noisy, especially at night, but for us it's part of the Colombian experience.
- Lenis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Willis (8/5): Very good - Good facilities, close to botanical gardens, right beside grocery store and outdoor gym. Just lots of noise from the street.
- Thibaud (6/5): If you don't mind the noise... - Good location, close to the metro, safe neighborhood.
Two nice bathrooms. Very noisy!! Bring some ear plugs.
Also the bed sheets were barely big enough to fit in the bed...
- Lea (8/5): Very good - - the owner was really friendly and nice
- the price is really awesome - you can hear everything through the walls
- a sign on the door for this hostel would be nice, since it can be hard to find
- Wilson (10/5): Best deal in the city! - Private room for the price of a shared dorm!! Not your typical stay, much more of a local feel, away from other tourists but still in a great spot. Across from a lively park, near the botanical gardens and the metro! The owner Dona Dora is very sweet and caring! Good for long term stays Street can be noisy at night on weekends but that's it!
- Attila (6/5): Very dirty - It was good value for money. The other reviews are pretty accurate. The host is very nice. She kept telling us everything (even tough we don't understand much Spanish). She kept our luggage for the day after we checked out. The neighborhood feels safe, the park across is awesome, they have football and basketball matches every day. Also Zumba classes, which seemed free to join! 1. So dirty. Please clean more! When we checked in, I found hair on our 'fresh' towels, stuck on the wall and in the shower. The kitchen counters are never cleaned, they expect the guests to wipe it (almost nobody does this). Despite this, the host folds the laundry (towels, sheets) on the kitchen counter, in the crumbles and food spills. Yikes!
If someone spills tobacco butts and ash on the balcony, it's there for days. Sometimes the host sweeps up, but not thoroughly. Sometimes she 'mops' the floor, but it's more like she's sweeping the dirt left and right.
2. On our two last days, somebody was living in the kitchen. They put a mattress in, he had his luggage there, and was there all day.
3. Both windows open to the balcony, so people are smoking and talking right in front of them. You also can't leave them open for the night because of this.
4. The toilet is 50 cms from the bed, and there is no door between them, just a dirty curtain.
- Terrance (8/5): Very good -
- Kes (8/5): Very good - its located in a central position to the city with a nic3 park opposite thats well used and safe with an outdoor gym with concrete weights thats always busy, there are 2 kitchens fully equipped to cook your own food a supermarket virtually next door good restaurants around and a really nice feel to the area, i will definitely come back on my next visit to Medellin its next to a main road so traffic can be abit noisy buts its a small price to pay for the location
- Clare (10/5): Exceptional - Dora is welcoming, rooms are clean and kitchen is well equipped Nothing
- Jui-hui (6/5): Pleasant - Very noisy, very little room.
- Keke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ray (5/5): Passable - Friendly owner. Nice balcony. Interesting guests. Really noisy traffic nearly 24/7. So so facilities.
