Victor (10/5): Nice - Everything was perfect, a lot of street food and restaurants near by, Ricardo is an amazing host and the guest were amazing as well
Nils (7/5): Tiny hostel but good for the value - Very friendly owner helped us and gave us good advices - good communication via whatsapp. Location great to visit the city - calm neighborhood. We were allowed to drop our backpacks before the check-in. Good price for the value. The terrace is small but nice to chill. Main downside is the size of the privat room - no place to hang towels or store lugages for two persons. The size of the hostel is also limited / in comparison of the amount of beds available ? Not so much privacy between the shower & bathroom of the hostel.
Shakeel (10/5): - One of those hostels where you can easily make memories. I stayed in a lot of hostels in Medellin that had were a lot more expensive and more space/facilities, but the vibe and authenticity of experiences was much better here. Ricardo is a great guy, you can tell he really cares about giving his guests a good stay. Its just a little cramped in the communal spaces, but you soon get over it.

The neighbourhood is great, with lots of small restaurants and cafés. The metro station is a short walk away. The hostel is small and it was almost full during my stay. Because of the layout, the common area gets cramped real fast.
Rachel (9/5): - The location is very close to the metro station and many shops. Ricardo is the loveliest host. Beds were so comfortable. Fans in the rooms and outlets/shelves by each bed. Towels were provided. There was a kitchen and fridge with basics, plus moka pots for the provided coffee. Small kitchen and common area but it usually isn't an issue. Ricardo does workouts with anyone that wants to join each morning and gives lots of options for tours etc for people to take. Curtains on all beds. No shelves in the showers for your soaps etc. One shower had hooks but the other didn't. But really that was it!

Gerson (4/5): Decepcionante - A localização é relativamente boa, pois é próxima ao trem e demais meios de transporte da cidade, que funcionam muito bem. Infelizmente os pontos fortes da estadia ficam por aí. Apesar da prestatividade da equipe e do clima de hostel, com pessoas de várias partes do mundo, o que torna o clima interessante, a estrutura do hostel é modesta demais. Eu e um amigo alugamos um quarto privativo que era minúsculo, mal dava para acomodar as bagagens, que tinham que ficar pelo caminho. O ventilador do quarto - que era quente - era barulhento demais. Tem poucos banheiros para a quantidade de hóspedes, o que os tornavam muito disputados. Com o excesso de gente usando, a limpeza também fica comprometido. O banho era ruim: o chuveiro não esquentava tanto e há poucas acomodações no banho para pendurar as coisas, por exemplo. Ou seja, o custo-benefício acho que não valeu a pena, pois com cerca de 100 reais a mais poderia ter sido ficar em um hotel, com uma estrutura bem melhor e talvez até com café da manhã.

Lisa (10/5): - Alles super sauber, sehr gemütlich, man lernt super schnell Leute kennen und kann morgens direkt mit Ricardo beim calistenics in den Tag starten. Ricardo ist super, kümmert sich um alle Anliegen und kann einem super viel über Medellin erzählen. Floresta ist ein richtig schönes Viertel und wenn man doch feiern gehen möchte, ist der nächste Club auch nicht so weit :-)

It has an amazing atmosphere which is created by the owner Ricardo. He is such a kind and warm-hearted person. He arranges tours for the hostel and showed us many interested places off the beaten track. He told us a lot of story’s of Medellins history which was really interesting. He even did sports together with people staying in the hostel and so many other things. Also the hostel is very clean and the breakfast was nice. The area where the hostel is located is very nice and safe and a very good area to stay. This place is just so different to other hostels and we can highly recommend staying here! We had a wonderful time!

Alma (10/5): Ein Hostel in dem ma sich wirklich wie zuhause fühlen kann :) - Sehr gemütliches Hostel, dem Besitzer ist es sehr wichtig, dass sich alle wohl fühlen, er stellt teilweise sogar die Gäste einander vor :D Außerdem gibt es eine tolle Ausstattung, sogar kostenlosen Handtücher und verschiedene Dinge die man sich ausleiehen kann wie den Regenschirm oder eine Schwimmkappe :) Ahh und es gibt ganz leckeren Kaffee, den man sich machen kann :) Der Aufenthaltsraum/die Küche ist eher klein, aber das führt auch zu einem sozialeren Miteinander ;)

Jelena (10/5): Cosy, clean and peaceful gem in Laureles - This is a true gem 💎 Not only is this the cleanest hostel I have ever been to, but it’s also run by the kindest owner you can find. Ricardo is an amazing and friendly, helpful host, who goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. The hostel is in a quiet and safe neighborhood, very close to metro station Floresta, which connects you quickly to everything. you can also walk through whole Laureles without any trouble. Although the kitchen looks like it might be too small, somehow everyone was able to work with it. There’s free coffee and even shampoo and shower gel in the bathrooms. Amazing value for money and I‘m definitely going to return here for all my future trips. Gracias Ricardo, gracias Carolina 🥰

The owner of Ricardo and the Carolina cleaner woman made a real house from this place, from which you do not want to leave. I spent 6 days there and I am infinitely grateful for a good rest. I wish the hostel prosperity, kind and neat guests! there weren't enough forks;))

L'hostel est très propre, et bien situé, à 5 minutes du métro. J'ai vraiment passé un très agréable séjour. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés!! 😃 L'espace commun est un peu petit, mais apparemment il y a un projet d'agrandissement, donc ça devrait le faire. Et puis ça n'empêche pas de faire de belles rencontres 😃

He makes this place a home! - Kitchen (small, yes) with all the necessities to cook full meals. - Not a lot of bathrooms/showers, but even with the place full I never had to wait - I stayed in the female dorm which was really good: normal beds, curtains for privacy, plug and light, and gorgeous views over Medellin. - It’s a small place that brings people together: not a party hostel, but rather a chill/family hostel. yuanyuan (10/5): A very cozy and clean place with kind people in a clam neighbourhood - Everything. The warm welcome by the owner Ricardo. The chill vibe amongst the guests. The cleaniness of the space is top notch. the kitchen is not big but fully equipped! I love the little terrace that give a nice view of the street and neighbourhood. Located a few minutes walk from the metro, has lots of restaurant around and I feel very safe walking around in the neighbourhood in the evening by myself. We also went to a very interesting (free) walking tour in the neighbourhood, given by Ricardo, who grew up in this neighbourhood laureles. You could feel the level of attention and intention they have put in running this hostel. I stayed for a week and definitely would recommend and come back! Nothing

The hostel used is very clean and has a small, but sufficient kitchen. The beds are comfortable. The owner Ricardo is such a genuine and lovely person. I wish this place remains a hidden gem.

Moritz (10/5): Exceptional - Great Hostel to meet like-minded travellers in a safe and beautiful neighbourhood. Ricardo the owner was really helpful, attentive and nice to hang out with. It was really easy to connect with others. Kitchen was great and nice balcony. In total would stay again Sometimes waiting time for the bathroom and mattresses were loud when you moved due to the plastic wrapping. No problem for a couple of nights though

Bonnie (10/5): 10++ super incredible great hostel - I liked absolutely everything!! This is the cleanest hostel I've ever stayed in, anywhere, just amazing. Everyone is super nice and the host is so thoughtful and generous. I had a beautiful view of one of the mountain sides of Medellin from the big windows next to my bed in the loft (that's the female only dormitory with only three beds). The neighborhood is extremely safe, you have a privacy curtain, comfortable bed super white sheets, your own individual light above your bed with a plug-in and security lockers for your valuables. it's quite small and informal, easy to meet other guests. The owner gave us lots of advice and was very helpful in every way, including a free tour of the neighborhood, he knows everyone. I very highly recommend it, I just can't say enough about how great my stay in this place was! For me everything was perfect, I will mention that there are only two bathrooms but we were not very many guests and so that was no problem but if it was full you might need to plan around that. the kitchen is pretty minimal but I cooked three times and I found everything I needed, but if two people were cooking at the same time it might be a bit less comfortable. Restaurants are so inexpensive around the area it's hardly worth going to the grocery store but I like to eat my own cooking anyway

Barbora (9/5): Nice stay, super clean - The hostel is very clean. The location for us was perfect, near to metro station, restaurants, groceries etc. Ricardo was very helpful. We struggled a bit with wifi but it was not a major issue :)
Ian (9/5): Spotless and a nice vibe - Very well located hostel in a chill neighborhood with a lot of good places to eat nearby (including the street food at Parque Floresta), and only a couple minutes' walk from the metro station. The owner Ricardo is a great dude and will definitely look out for you to make sure you're feeling comfortable and accommodated. The hostel attracts a nice crowd too; everyone I met there was easygoing and fun to chat with. And it's VERY clean; there's a team that cleans the whole place every day. I didn't encounter a more spotless hostel my whole time in Colombia, nor a hostel with better circulated air. This was ultimately a minor inconvenience at the end of the day, but the common area is rather small and gets rather... cozy... when the hostel is at full capacity. It can be fun to be hanging out with everybody in there though if you mind it being a little cramped. Also though, the soft, pleasant, string lights in the common area are on a timer that cuts off a little before 10, and then the only available light after that is this small light above the fridge, so the socializing kind of shuts down after that. Still though, ultimately a pretty minor blip on a hostel that is otherwise super clean, well equipped, friendly, and well located.
Melanie (9/5): Made my time in Medellin even better - Atmosphere, people, cleanliness, views from women's dorm. Ricardo was amazing, he made everyone feel at home and treated us like family. It's normal for people to extend their stay here as it's very comfortable, chilled and in a nice location. I would definitely return! Small kitchen - breakfast time can be a little interesting and fun juggling between people and kitchenware in a tight space :).

It was easy to meet other travellers. There are supermarkets close by and also good restaurants. Bathroom was clean. The kitchen area is small but it's only a detail. Otherwise I don't have anything to say since we enjoyed and even later rebooked the hostel

I needed earplugs due to some noise from the streets, but I am a very light sleeper (the dorm is not facing the street). Altough the hostel is very small, I liked it a lot.

Natalia (7/5): Nice stay - The balcony was really nice, I loved sitting there. The location was ideal. It was fairly clean. I liked the storage boxes for food and to be able to use the kitchen. Cold shower, hot water only lasts for couple of minutes. The private room window is too small and it can be a bit claustrophobic but I guess for the price is good. The pillows were completely flat.

Hannah (10/5): A tiny hostel with a big heart - My first hostel experience outside of Europe- and I'm happy it was this one. Ricardo is such a lovely person, who really takes care of his guests. I also didn't arrive expecting to make friends but it was inevitable- it's such a cute and tiny hostel that the shared space leaves you no choice but to meet other travelers and connect with them :). It feels like a place with a lot of heart. The upstairs room for girls only is super comfy and has a view over the city, would definitely stay in that one again as I think the beds are a lot nicer than the bunk beds. You have to connect to about 5 different wifis and one of them should work haha. The shower is sometimes cold, but honestly it's very good value for the money.
