• Sharon (9/5): Great accommodation - The garden was stunning. The room was great. We were very happy for the one night stay. We had thought we would be able to go to sit by the river. We tried to get to the river but never found out how to. We walked down the road but there wasn't anywhere we could actually sit to watch the birds around the river. We didn't like to disturb the lady once she had shown us our room so we were unable to ask her.

• Francesco (9/5): - The lady is incredible, the rooms and villa are great and the location 1 minute to the river side is very nice. You can easily access Pocitelj by walking in 10 minutes more or less. Also few restaurant in walking distance. Good cleaning. They have free parking spot which helps if you travel by car. As a solo traveler maybe a bit expensive compared to others but all worth it.

• Ian (8/5): Cute, affordable stay close to Old Town! - Lili (the host) was so sweet and funny, while we didn’t speak the same language we had a fun time communicating. She keeps the place super clean, and the location was so close to the old town! Somehow I did not see in the listing that it was a shared bathroom with one other unit, but it wasn’t an issue :)

• Stefania (10/5): Πολύ ευχάριστη και οικονομική - Πολύ φιλόξενη κυρία, μας περίμενε μέχρι αργά και ήταν υπομονετική μαζί μας. Πολύ πολύ καθαρά όλα στο δωμάτιο και έχει όλα όσα χρειάζεται κάποιος για μια ευχάριστη διαμονή. Το μόνο λιγάκι αρνητικό είναι το κοινό μπάνιο που όμως και πάλι δεν ήταν πρόβλημα

• Sergio (9/5): Lovely place to stay - The woman running the place is adorable, although she doesn't speak any english. The room was simple but confortable, and the house is very quiet and a good place to relax. Is very close to a couple of restaurants, in one of them we had some good meals and were treated very good. Is a walking distance to Počitelj. I think it was a bit expensive, compared to the rest of Bosnia

• Xesca (6/5): Suficient. - A 10 minuts de Počitelj. Pots aparcar el cotxe allà i anar caminant. Propietari molt amable. Tot i no parlar anglès, es feia entendre. Tot ben explicat. Tovalloles, armari i gelera a la mateixa habitació. El llit era de molles, no molt còmode. Són habitacions amb bany compartit entre 2 habitacions dobles. Tot i que espaioses, no varem tenir problemes amb altres hostes.

• Mrs Yirka Bodhi (9/5): Perfecte locatie - Mooie locatie aan het meer. Mooie tuin. Super vriendelijke host. Er werd steeds gewerkt aan de beste oplossing voor elk probleem. Goede uitvalsbasis om de waterval en het pelgrimsdorp te bezoeken.

• Alexis (7/5): Top pour les rivières et l'emplacement - Le lieu est exceptionnel car vous êtes a pied de la vieille ville de Pocitelj qui est très belle, a proximité des restaurants et commodités grâce à la route Nationale qui ne passe pas loin. Et surtout: la rivière Neretva est au fond du jardin, où un petit coin a été aménagé par l'hôtesse. La rivière est un endroit sauvage et désert, très beau. Peu profonde et beaucoup de courant, donc soit on aime se faire porter dans l'eau fraiche soit on fait juste trempette. Mais le sentiment d'espace et l'eau environnante emportent tout. Bien que la maison soit assez propre et bien tenue il y a quand même quelques réserves. D'abord la maison voisine était en chantier; notre hôte est dans une des pièces de la maison et elle peut entrer dans l'espace réservé aux invités quand elle veut. L'espace intérieur est réduit au strict minimum et globalement nous avons été content de ne pas y rester la journée et de profiter des rivières alentours

Također, u objektu je za goste osiguran veliki vrt sa stolovima za sjedenje i odmor. Osobito se može pohvaliti čistoća objekta, kao i sobe i kreveta. Na stranici objekta na Bookingu trebalo bi radije istaknuti da je riječ o iznajmljivanju sobe nego apartmana, zato što je ustvari riječ o dvije spavaće sobe za iznajmljivanje s dijeljenom kupaonicom.

• Laura (6/5): Habitación con cama incómoda y baño compartido - Jardín y terraza agradable. Plaza para aparcar el coche. Cerca de Pocitelj. Cama incómoda, te hundes hacia el centro. El baño es compartido. A la habitación le faltan unas cortinas para tener más intimidad.
• Nikola (8/5): - The room is in the ground-floor, with a nice garden porch available. It has basic amenities, good for a short stay. Days and nights are usually very hot in summer, so air-conditioning is necessary. The hosts, who live upstairs, are friendly, informative, but discreet. The surroundings, with Neretva river and small waterfront terrace are amazing. The old town of Pocitelj is very close-by and is fabulous Ottoman Empire heritage site, with no tourist fuss and crowds. Great to explore and hike to the mosque and towers through narrow pebble streets, and have a good local food. Overall, very recommended. Shared bathroom is a shared bathroom. It is advertised exactly like this (no complains), but would be a good upgrade to have a private one. Or to rent a whole two-room apartment as a single unit (which would then include the bathroom). Mosquito nets would be helpful, also.

• Alen (10/5): - Das Gesamtpaket ist einfach toll! Die Lage unweit der Altstadt Pocitelj (Empfehlung: zu Fuß rauf und den Sonnenuntergang erleben!) und 50m vom Fluß Neretva (sehr niedriger Wasserstand, sehr kalt wie üblich und nicht zum Schwimmen geeignet, eher kurze Abkühlung) entfernt ist herausragend. Viele Ausflüge lassen sich von hier aus sehr gut bewerkstelligen (Fluß Trebizat, Kravice Wasserfälle, etc.). Die Untekunft selber ist ruhig gelegen, gepflegt und sauber. Die Gastgeberin ist zuvorkommend und nett. Für ein Paar Tag in Kombination mit Ausflügen absolut empehlenswert! Neretva könnte eine Spur wärmer sein ;) Abends sind ein Paar Mücken/Gelsen unterwegs, das ist ortsüblich und man kann vorsorgen.

The most beautiful garden surrounds the house and I have so much respect for the lady who works so hard to keep it so beautiful ❤️ I LOVED my stay here at Riverside Guesthouse. The location is mind blowing. Peace and tranquillity is in abundance as you sit by the river bank with easy access from the property. A very short and beautiful walk to Pocitelj to explore the fortress with amazing views and restaurants. Thank you for your kindness and inviting me to your bbq and talking with me on my last night in your beautiful village of Pocitelj ❤️ I hold my time with you in my heart.

• Kael (10/5): I left my heart in Počitelj - Mitten in traumhaften Landschaften! Mittelalterliche Festung, Moschee, Hamam Museum, römische Villenruine mit Ölpresse, Mostar-Brücken-Prototyp. Die Gastgeberin war endlos hilfreich und gastfreundlich. Rein garnix.

• Kurt (10/5): Tolle Unterkunft, nette Gastgeberin, schöne Umgebung! - Die Gastgeberin, eine ältere Dame hat mich so herzlich empfangen und obwohl ich kein Bosnisch kann und sie nur wenige Brocken Englisch oder Deutsch, hat mir der Kontakt mit ihr große Freude bereitet. Der gesamte Bereich für die Gäste wie auch die Zimmer wirkten sehr neu, modern und ausgesprochen sauber. Die großzügige Terrasse habe ich sehr genossen und der Garten ist wunderschön. Und der 50m entfernte Privatstrand am Fluss ist genial und auch ausgesprochen schön und komfortabel hergerichtet. Wenn ich wieder in diese Gegend kommen würde, würde ich auf jeden Fall wieder diese Unterkunft wählen! :-)

Plus, it's pretty close to all the historical attractions & riverside activities you could wish for. Too many stray cats...sorry :(
• Joris (10/5): fantastisch. Aan te bevelen. - Super-leuk verblijf, bij uiterst vriendelijke en behulpzame uitbaters. De jongere hospita spreekt perfect Engels. De kamer is uitstekend en op het gelijkvloers. Sanitair te delen met een tweede kamer op het gelijkvloers. Geen schrijftafel op de kamer, wel op het geweldige, overdekte terras, dat aan de kamers paalt. Geweldige tuin. Vlot parkeergelegenheid. Moeilijk te vinden zonder goede kaart of luchtfoto. Geen maaltijden, ook geen ontbijt. Maar wat wil je voor die prijs ? Er is voldoende horeca op wandelafstand bij de oude stadskern.
• Darko (10/5): Proveli smo ugodan vikend. - Objekat u zelenoj oazi pored rijeke Neretve. Uživali smo u vrtu pažljivo uredjenom koji omogućuje da "osjetite" prirodu. Objekat smo koristili kao jedinicu za noćenje i u tom smislu nemamo nikakvih primjedbi.

• Emeline (8/5): - Lits confortables, accueil chaleureux et géo-localisation parfaite. Le jardin est très arboré et il y a un petit coin pour prendre le petit déjeuner. La chaudière dans la salle de bain s'entend dans la chambre et est un peu brillante la nuit. La maison n'est pas bien indiqué par rapport a la route. Un homme très gentil nous aidé a trouver la maison.

• Teresandon1 (8/5): Perfecto para visitar la zona - Ubicación a 5-10 minutos andando del casco histórico en una zona muy tranquila, ideal como base para otras visitas (cascadas de Kravica, Mostar...). Aparcamiento gratuito dentro de la casa. El jardín es muy agradable. Facilidad de comunicación en inglés con la persona que gestiona el alojamiento (a través de booking). Dificultad de comunicación con la persona que estaba en la casa, ya que no hablaba inglés. No lo recomendaría para alérgicos a los gatos (andaban sueltos por la terraza, pero eran tranquilos y estaban bien cuidados).

• Emmanuelle (10/5): Belle adresse de chambre d'hôte - Très bel endroit tenu à merveille. Tout est fait pour qu'on s'y sente bien. Sale de bain partagée mais comme nous étions seuls, c'était parfait. Il manquerait juste un petit déjeuner.
• Claus (7/5): Wir finden die Unterkunft überbewertet - Wenn man sich selbst verpflegt, ist der vorhandene Kühlschrank okay; außen eine schöne Terrasse zum Essen und Sitzen. Zimmer und Betten sauber. Man hat durch den Garten einen direkten Zugang zur Neretva, allerdings kann man dort nicht viel anfangen. Das Haus selbst ist etwas schwer zu finden. Gemeinschafts-Badezimmer ist (auch bei nur zwei Zimmern) nicht mehr zeitgemäß, besonders wenn sich die "Anderen" in hygienischer Hinsicht nicht besonders Mühe geben. Für eine Nacht als Zwischenaufenthalt auszuhalten.

• Mpille (9/5): Super verblijf - Het was een super verblijf. Lily de host was super lief en wij voelde ons meteen welkom. De katjes maakte het verblijf huiselijk, en het zag er gezellig uit. Na een kleine wandeling door de tuin kom je bij een mooie rivier waar je heerlijk in alle privacy kan zwemmen. Ook al stond er gedeelde badkamer was deze super schoon en mooi. Het enige minpuntje was de weg er naar toe, door het donker was het iets lastiger rijden maar dit heeft uiteraard niks te maken met het verblijf.
