• Madjid (9/5): - Wir waren nur eine Nacht da. Einerseits war das Hotel direkt an der Grenze, was praktisch ist, andererseits musste man mit geschlossenen Fenstern schlafen, weil sonst zu laut. Seperater Fahrradabstellplatz mit Steckdosen vorhanden. Frühstück war in Ordnung.

• Wolfgang (8/5): Einfaches, aber sehr schönes Hotel direkt an der Grenze - Die großen, ruhige Zimmer waren sehr sauber, das Frühstück war ausreichend und sehr liebevoll angerichtet. Die Hotelwirtin war ausgesprochen freundlich und sehr nett. Wenige Fußminuten bis zum See, Parkplätze vor dem Haus.

• Sabine (9/5): Immer wieder gern - Wir haben zum 3. Mal dort übernachtet, weil wir uns dort wohl fühlen. Frau Wachter ist sehr freundlich, die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Ich kann dort gut schlafen. Das Frühstück ist gut. Die Pension liegt fußläufig 10 Minuten vom See entfernt. Eine Tankstelle, ein Supermarkt und eine kleine Pizzeria sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Pension liegt an einer alten Grenzstation direkt an einer stark befahrenen Straße. Nachts ist es aber ruhig genug.

• Mausloewin (8/5): Aufenthalt zur vollen Zufriedenheit. - Auf den Sonderwunsch, früher ins Zimmer zu kommen, wurde ohne zu zögern eingegangen, die Betten waren überaus bequem, die Lage mehr als ruhig und das Frühstuck war sehr gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

• Berman (10/5): First place we stayed which was perfect as it was half way to our first real destination. Price was very good and breakf - This was the first place we stayed after a 12 hour flight. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was sooo good. We did purchase the Austrian “Vignette” but wasn’t needed as this was just across the line from Germany and not on the autobahn. You had to climb stairs to the room. If staying for one night maybe just take an overnight bag.

• volkmar (7/5): Für eine Übernachtung gut. Preis Leistung stimmt - Wir haben im Hotel nur eine Nacht geschlafen um dann nach Italien weiter zu fahren. Es liegt in der Nähe der Autobahn, direkt am ehemaligen Grenzübergang. Es ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber und das Frühstück war auch gut. Lindau ist nicht weit weg und so haben wir den Abend genutzt uns die Stadt anzuschauen. Für eine Übernachtung war es für uns perfekt. Es gibt nichts auszusetzen wenn man mit den richtigen Erwartungen ankommt.

• Peter (8/5): - Wir hatten die Unterkunft zum Besuch der Bregenzer Festspiele gewählt, von dort war die Seebühne gut zu erreichen.
• Maria Merle (8/5): Gute Übernachtungsmöglichkeit auf einer Reise um oder am Bodensee - Die Lage war hinsichtlich des Bodensees sehr gut. Man ist ganz schnell am Bodenseeradweg. Die Inhaber waren sehr freundlich. Unsere Fahrräder konnten wir gut in einem abgeschlossenen Bereich unterbringen. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Liebevoll und reichhaltig angerichtet, mit frischem Obst und toller Auswahl. Die Pension liegt an der Grenze und eine Hauptverbindungsstrasse geht dort vorbei. Nachts war es ruhig, gegen Morgen weniger.

• Jean (7/5): Good - Room was spacious (though meant for 3 and there were only 2 of us) Not especially comfortable given the cost, there were some chairs on a narrow balcony but this was over a busy road so not pleasant place to sit. It was a 10 minute walk to the nearest place to buy anything to eat or drink for dinner. Breakfast buffet wasn't refreshed to keep pace with demand.

The breakfast was served on beautiful china in a nice dining room. There was nothing fancy about it but it was comfortable. Carrying my luggage up the steep stairs.

• Margarita (5/5): Passable - Breakfast was due from 7.30, so for people who plan to leave early it is unavailable, they don't even provide package substitute. Bearing in mind that this is a border town, most travelleres must have chosen the place for its closeness to other countries. The town itself does not have any places where to have a meal, so be prepared to nave your own or to rely on the supermarket. Bear in mind that there is no fridge in the room and no fridge in the whole pension The biggest disadvantage is that we couldn't connect to the internet, or rather the rooter was not responding and there was no-one to fix it.

There was construction going on around the building. Not much they could do about it but the view from the balcony was not the best because of it.

Balcony was nice but directly on busy roadway with bridge construction close by . Bed was comfortable. The fan in the room was a great benefit . Staff was helpful and friendly . Breakfast was adequate but nothing special. The breakfast room was comfortable and although dated very clean and bright . Good WiFi in room and throughout the pension. Along Bodensee bike trail . initial impression when approaching pension was less than comforting . Facade and reception could definitely use an update . However the room itself was much nicer than the first impression downstairs . No secure bike storage available . Just a side yard with a hedge around part and a low wooden gate which can be locked with a padlock .
