Guest Reviews
- Marion (10/5): -
- Jess Wakeford (8/5): - Good location. Beds were comfortable. Spa didn't work properly. TV's need upgrading and wifi would be a good additive for the price you pay!
- Olivier (4/5): Never again - I agree with most the bad reviews. The contact, by emails and messages, with the owner is very bad, you feel under pressure all the time.
We had to leave the property before 9am after having done the cleaning, because it is said on the welcome papers that you have to leave the property as you found it, or you could pay 250$, and leaving after 9am is 200$ per hour.
No wifi but it was known
The SPA was partially broken and it was known by the owner for weeks.

- Courtney (8/5): Overall quite happy with our stay but needed somewhere to dry ski gear after a wet day out. Also main bed not very comfo - Value for money in peak season, spa bath was a hit after a day on the slopes, location, view. Hard to dry snow gear after a wet day on the slopes. Main bed not very comfortable, towels small and thin, couldn’t get the fireplace working properly.
- Amanda (5/5): - Has a lovely view of the mountains! Would be lovely to have a proper kitchen…
bedsheet at corner is slipping off..
Need a good pillows
- Stacha (5/5): A guest house without the benefits of a guest house, and none of the perks of a hotel either. - The location was good and the views were great. Don’t expect snow though, as it only happens once every two years in Jindabyne A guest house without the benefits of a guest house, and none of the perks of a hotel either.
In the photos, it looks like there’s a kitchen, but in reality, it’s just a toaster and a microwave. No dining table/chairs either. After a two-day trip, I was hoping to do some laundry for the kids, but there was no dryer - making the washing machine pretty useless.
The fireplace didn’t work, and the jacuzzi in the master bedroom was filthy and partially broken. I ended up having to clean it myself on holiday because the kids were begging to use it.
There were no streaming services on the TV, and not even basic things like snacks, drinks, or a single teabag.
On top of that, there were lots of strict rules: no baths after 8 p.m., clean the house and dishes before you leave - things you wouldn’t expect to do at the hotel, not to mention with a price tag over $600 a night.
Definitely wouldn’t recommend. Very disappointing experience.
- Sureet (7/5): - Location and property was great. Kitchen was spacious and had all the necessary items. One bathroom and toilet were insufficient for a three bedroom set and three families. The sink was getting blocked after five minutes of usage. The property had only one mirror in the toilet. There should be extra mirror in the property.
- Ravi03 (7/5): Good -
- Saba (1/5): Bad - I went to see the property before the check in and the owner didn’t even hear me she just said your booking has been canceled and I was driving more than 5 hours Nd I have my kids. The owner of the property was very rude and racist she was speaking to me and my family in a very bad way. Most appalling experience i have ever witnessed. Unprofessional and very rude owner. NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY.

- Chloe (10/5): Wonderful family holiday! - The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was very friendly and helpful. Great location, close to the bus stop and town. The only negative, was the noise from the people renting downstairs one night. The rest of our stay was fine, with respectful guests downstairs. Apart from that we couldn’t fault the property.
- Jim (10/5): Exceptional - Space, location, great value! Loved it! Fireplace and nice size balcony too!
- Robert (9/5): Great stay in a great location without any hassle 😊 - Great location, lovely owners. Clean and tidy 😊 The double bed in the main living area could be awkward for some but we worked around it
- May (6/5): Pleasant -
- Michael (7/5): Good -
- Maddison (9/5): Superb -
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (9/5): Superb -
- Holly (1/5): Bad - Paid for 2 nights, only stayed 1. Needs to be advertised that spa, lounge and main bed are all in one room! Bed was extremely uncomfortable, both bedside lamps didn't work. Could hear downstairs guests easily. CCTV spy cam above entry. Owner in garage straight behind house. View was great, but overall very disappointed and kinda felt creepy. Alot
- Tania (5/5): You get what you pay for - Great location.
Easy to find.
Superb view - could see the snowy mountains in the distance.
Accomodation was clean & well decorated.
Fridge, kettle and microwave provided.
Shower in the bathroom was warm and very decently sized, Advertisement didn't really match what was provided.
States two bedrooms, didn't realise one of those bedrooms was also the Loungeroom/kitchen/spa making it quite cramped and awkward staying with friends.
No actual kitchen available but we did have a microwave, mini fridge and kettle.
Attempted to use the provided kettle to make a cup of tea - ended up tripping the powerboard multiple times before moving the kettle to the bathroom.
TV reception was awful and picture kept cutting out,
Beds were extremely uncomfortable and really hot.
Apartment is split with an upstairs and downstairs apartment - the second night our underneath neighbours decided to play loud music and sing in the shower. There is very little sound proofing between the two and you can hear a lot of the road noise as well.
- Sandun (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jaya (8/5): A great location to stay, close to shops and town facilities and easy access to the ski fields. Lots of options to accom - Great location and nice view.
Lots of options for two families to share. No broom or vacuum for quick cleaning.
- Neves (7/5): Good -
- Scott (6/5): Won’t book again - Parking, clean, comfortable beds, spa bath Small slim Towels, poor tv reception, poor dishwashing facilities, no supplies (eg no tea bags), very early check out (9am) and late check in (4 pm) with no flexibility even if vacant the next day.
- Manish (4/5): Fair - location hard to contact staff, no wifi, no dryer, no good restaurants nearby, no ubereats or doordash, no access to bbq
- Phong (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alam (4/5): not value for money at all - o breakfast
no digital tv no wifi, just 1 toilet
- Rhoxane (10/5): EXCEPTIONAL. - The place were exceptional. Sweet, Cozy and Clean. We really love the place. Also the place were near the shops and ski resorts. All in all we really enjoyed our stay.
- Cathryn (8/5): I would stay here again. - Great view. Comfy bed. Just the noise from the downstairs split system.
- Jessica (8/5): Very good -
- Jayson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Evan (10/5): Exceptional - Relaxing in the spa after a long day on the slopes was amazing.
- Bakhshi (10/5): excellent location, comfortable and clean - The location was excellent internet
- Jacqueline (10/5): Jindabyne guest house - The host was great very accommodating. Central location clean and plenty of room. Bbq didn't work could have used outdoor heater as we like to sit outside on patio/ balcony no matter the weather
- Geoff (1/5): Bad - Nice view Despite paying in full 3 months in advance an extra $500 charge was added to our bill on arrival (for no reason or warning). The owner refuses to pay it back. Apart from all that (which hasnt been resolved), this addition to the original property is poorly built with terrible sound insulation. The water stopped on the first morning which i had to fix myself. And while it advertises facilities for meals - there isn’t even a place to wash a dish. Very poor value for money and not walking distance to the town centre.
- Humaira (8/5): Very good -
- Scott (10/5): I Would use this property and provider again was a pleasurable experience - Modern, clean, close to town, good facilities, roomy enough for 6 blokes in separate beds and good communication from the Host……top job The property was overall great, a smoking area could be added to the external other than that great place to stay for a snow trip
- Soundherya (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (9/5): Very nice property. Clean and comfortable. I will stay there again. -
- Mark (1/5): Disgusting host attitude. - None. Dont ruin your holiday! Stay away from this place. The host is very rude and arrogant as soon as we arrive.
Barbecue grill is not even working. The gas bottle is not compatible with the grill and is leaking when we turn it on. Clearly a fire hazard.
Property didn't return my bond. I couldn't call them. There is no response to the messages.
You can hear guests from above.
There is a single bathroom to be shared by 8 people. No laundry and dryer available to use on a snow trip! How ridiculous.
- Rajinder (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chavez (9/5): Superb -
- Joseph (4/5): Disappointing -
- Emily (10/5): Amazing stay - Upstairs suite very clean comfortable had everything you need and warms up pretty quickly and views were also a plus Couldn't fault anything
- Jiayi (1/5): Bad experience - Old house, no Wi-Fi ,no laundry for three day stay, no mud room for wet shoes, no dryer for wet gloves, not a single coat hanger provided , 8people property only one bathroom not convenient ,no spa tub misleading photo. Worst sound proof, can hear people walking & using toilet upstairs. Not recommended
- Ellie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Grace (7/5): it was okay - nice view & location no washing machine and dryer and only 1 toilet for 3 bedrooms.
- Duncan (7/5): Good -
- Abi (9/5): lovely spa with a view, great communication, perfect location. - spa bath no kitchen
- Almansur (5/5): Passable -
- Rachel (9/5): Superb -
- Melissa (7/5): Good -
- Kira (10/5): Exceptional - It's a good location, easy walk to the shops and the lake, beautiful views, and comfortable for a one night stay.
- Nate (8/5): Very good -
- Tyler (5/5): For a family this apartment was impractical - Location was great with great views and room was nicely presented Expected kitchen facilities but reality was we were given some appliances and a bucket to was up in. We also felt uncomfortable walking past other childrens bedrooms to our entrance. A bit more of an explanation prior to booking would have helped
- Karina (8/5): Very good -
- Tanya (9/5): Superb -
- Benjamin (7/5): Good - Couldn't shut bathroom door, non existent insulation of the house, towels were of lower quality
- Cameron (7/5): Close to the shops, has the essentials and enjoyable stay. - Great location close to the local shopping complex’s and the restaurants. Easy to walk to or a very quick drive. The space has most things you’ll need and is a comfortable stay. The space is actually a one bedroom with a queen bed in the lounge room. The cleaning facilities to do dishes after cooking isn’t ideal, which is a camping tub in the bathroom. There’s no washer/dryer. Very limited cooking facilities and bare minimum cooking utensils. Downstairs can get very noisy and echoes upstairs, even with the doors shut to the living room. Visiting during snow season there’s very limited drying facilities for ski clothes and no storage for ski gear.
- Anna (10/5): A beautiful, clean place with beautiful views, in a great location and lovely accommodating hosts!! - The room had everything we needed. Great location! Loved the coziness of the house and the spa was lovely. The hosts were responsive and accommodating! And we didn’t hear the people downstairs at all.
