• Voon Chek, Joshua (1/5): The worst apartment I've ever stayed, in terms of facilities and experience. - Near train station. Had a very horrible experience staying here. Apartment size is very small with 4 beds cramped into the available space. Floor is dusty and bathroom is moldy. Light is also very dim. Kitchen cabinets are breaking down. Situated on 3rd floor, and with no lift we had to climb up carrying our heavy luggage (owner should have mentioned it's not wheelchair or elderly friendly in his posting). Owner service was very bad - when I told him about room condition, he just gave a frowning look and walked away. Not value for money. The pictures advertised looked nice but in reality, were far from what it was. I booked for 3 nights, but the next day I checked out because condition was just too bad to continue staying. My bad for not checking out past reviews thoroughly. I wonder why owner didn't take reviews seriously to improve on the apartment's condition.
• Varuna868 (3/5): Dodgy looking facilities, will not return. - The location is good, very near to public transport. The whole place was dodgy looking. The apartment is up several flights of stairs with no elevator so it's ridiculous that guests have to carry luggage up those stairs. My sister couldn't do it and the Owner "upgraded" us to a room at hotel toscana which apparently is run by the same person/people. This room felt off and dirty, I didn't like it at all. I will not return here and I recommend persons spend a few bucks extra and book somewhere else. I barely slept that night because I was so uncomfortable.

Tampoco tenía TV . En la cama no había sábanas , solo un “nórdico “ y una “funda en el colchón “

• Hani (1/5): Very disappointing stay - The only good thing is the location. Very disappointing stay. The hotel is old and the floor shakes when you walk, there's no soundproofing, and the bathroom has no lock. Everything feels outdated and in need of renovation.

• Nedzad Suljic (5/5): Ett blygsamt rum med fantastisk läge - Fantastiskt läge. Mitt i stan nära allt. Tio minuter promenad till tågstation Interlaken west och 20 minuter till Interlaken Ost. Trevlig personal. Spartanskt inredning i rummet, två sängar inte speciellt bekväma, ett litet bord med två stolar och klädhängare. Inga sängbord eller klädskåp. Vi fick använda stolarna och klädhängare för att lämna våra kläder. Resväskorna fick ligga på golvet. Man kan i för sig förstå att det lilla rummet lämnar inte stora möjligheter för möblering.

• Yanlin (1/5): Totally sucks - Location 1. This room felt like someone had slept in a bed that hadn't been cleaned for decades. There was a disgusting smell that wouldn't go away even after opening the window. 2. Every corner of the room was unclean. There were stains that looked like blood on the curtains, which were right next to the bed. The sheets also looked dirty and stained. The bathroom curtains also looked extremely dirty. I initially thought the bathroom floor was just dirt, but later discovered the tiles were rotten and the anti-slip mat was disgusting. 3. The kitchen cabinet doors were missing, and the items inside looked filthy. The room was also very dark. After unloading my things, I had no appetite. The thought of the smell and the place I was going to sleep made me sick. 4. No one told me before check-in that I had to go up to the third floor. If I didn't have any luggage, I could have tolerated it, but we were traveling with a lot of stuff. 5. The price is not cheap compared to other hotels, and the experience is so poor. I don't recommend anyone staying here.

• Suraj (3/5): Review of stay - The location was alright No free parking onsite. They did have a flat fee per day for parking. It can get noise since it’s right in between an area full of restaurants. General cleanliness was really poor. The bathroom was tiny and not clean. There was a tiny balcony but in really poor condition. If you are someone travelling with a baby stroller or heavy bags/suitcase please note there is no elevator. Our room was on the third floor. The bed sheets were not clean at all the pillow cases were stained and brown. The noise and accessibility were still pardonable but the cleanliness and hygiene were absolutely poor and abysmal.

• Kyle (2/5): Incredibly poor cleaning job, in a tiny uncomfortable room, from a misleading listing - It is close to lots of diverse food options. The listing is misleading. This is part of Hotel Toscana, which is a terribly reviewed hotel. The entrance is in a sketchy alley way. The beds are uncomfortable. There is no place to put luggage. Everything was sticky, dirty, dusty, or had cobwebs. The shower had black mold in it. The sink was cracked. The shower curtail was brown and filthy at the bottom. The toilet had brown streaks of who knows what down all sides. There was no turn down service. There were no hand towels or wash cloths, just the two bath towels we were given for the entire stay.

• Muin (3/5): If I visit again, I would not recommend staying here. - The location is very strategic. Proper maintenance and upgrades should be done to improve each room. Customers pay a very high price, but the service and room conditions do not match what we paid for. When I arrived at Interlaken West Station, I called the staff (a Chinese girl) to ask for the address of Hotel Toscana, but she simply told me to go to the listed address and immediately hung up. Her attitude was unprofessional and not customer-friendly. The floor was not clean, the microwave was dirty, and while the stove could be turned on, it was not usable. There were insufficient utensils, and they were dirty. The shower was broken, and when it did work, the water pressure was too strong, causing discomfort.

• Van (4/5): Disappointing - Location is good I had 3 days in this apartment. We were very disapointed. The room is small and look old , not like its showed in photos. We didnt have room services for 3 days, no new towel until having request on the last day. The bed and pillow are not completely comfortable for sleeping. The room doest have a good soundproofing, the sound of footsteps on the upstair , talking outside affected our sleep badly. You have stuffs enough in the kitchen but they are not really clean. Only 1 thing is this apartment has very good location

• Clint (7/5): Good choice for Short stay. - For the price, this hotel was a decent choice, especially for a short stay of one or two days. The facilities were adequate, though not quite up to a typical standard. The beds and pillows were average and could be more comfortable. Overall, I would recommend it for a brief visit. Location was very good, very close to Interlaken west station and 15 minutes walk from Interlaken OST station. Bus stop is near.

When we arrived at the 4pm check in time as stated on the booking they said we can’t check in until 5pm which was very annoying since we had been traveling very far. The property was alright, it was mostly clean. The bathroom was pretty rundown and had mould though.

Also, close to supermarket store, restaurants (all types), shopping and so on. 2. For us, room was sufficient and great to have gallery for morning tea. 3. Luggage room for early arrivals. 1. Clarity of floor given should be at the time of booking before confirmation since lift is not there. Climbing Stairs with luggage to more than first floor is painful. 2. No lift for a property of G+4 floors 3. No clear instruction for AC/Heater, cooking plate etc. 4. Not easily traceable for first timer even after reaching location by Google.
• Bernice (4/5): Stay away pls - Location is good Super dirty. Parts of toilet had mould and the room is very run down looks like I was back in the 1950s . There is a weird stench in the room. Mattress and pillow were not great especially the pillow.
• Guy (3/5): Although moderately priced by Interlaken standards this place is old & in poor condition and fails to meet standards - Property was in good location. Good hot water Room was in poor condition for what was advertised. Kitchenette was old & had no power point. Jug had to be boiled on the floor. Dishes were left with food residue & dirty. Bathroom was very basic & showing age badly. Shower fittings were hanging off wall & loose.

• Syed (3/5): Good but not value for Money - Not Recommended - Location: it was exactly at the center and we got bus cards by the hotel which allowed us free travel within interlaken and a 20 percent discount on Harder Kulm tickets. Beds were very uncomfortable and pillows were of poorest quality, if there was an option for refund, I would have asked for it. Paid over 250 euros and the service I got was next to nothing. I did not like the apartment at all, very small for this amount of money.
• Rajesh (5/5): Passable - Prime area Bathroom was the biggest disappointment. With so much money I believe they should have made a standing shower with glass door instead of curtains and we are in the fear of flooding the bathroom

Single electric point to share between microwave, toaster, water heater etc. No A/C, well that’s common but no Fan as well. At least couple of Fans could have made it better.

• Scott (1/5): A slum apartment not fit for human occupation. - Nothing. Staying here risks you and your family’s health. The apartment was the worst accommodation I have ever seen. Entrance in a trash filled alley. Bugs in every room. Broken countertops, dirt on walls, broken refrigerator, and staff unable or willing to help. Refused refund and directed to booking.com for refund.

• Evangelia (1/5): Our stay was one of the worst experiences we've had, with a hotel that smelled bad, was dirty - Horrible Experience – Stay Away! Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. From the moment we walked in, the smell was unbearable, like staying in a house that hadn't been aired out in years. Everything was old and dirty, giving the impression that it had never been cleaned. The hotel's location was also a major issue. It's situated above restaurants, and the area was excessively noisy, making it impossible to sleep at night. The price was outrageously high for the quality of accommodation offered. Parking was available for a fee of 15 CHF per night, and it was so cramped that parking the car was nearly impossible. Upon arrival, we were informed that there was an issue with our original room and were upgraded to a larger one. If this was the best room they could offer, I don't even want to imagine how bad our original room would have been. Thankfully, we only stayed for one night, and we definitely won't be choosing this hotel again. The kitchen was extremely dirty, and although there were utensils for cooking, they were so disgusting that we couldn't bring ourselves to use them. Overall, it was one of the worst accommodation experiences we've ever had. I hope this helps!
