• Philipp (3/5): For cigarette lovers - Good location close to the centre and quiet. Our room reeked of smoke and the smoke alarm was missing. Other guests there said it was the same in their room. They installed a new alarm but couldn't do anything about the smell. The shower was very dirty and the holder for the showerhead was not working. There were open electrical lines in the bathroom.the toilet ran out of toilet paper and didn't seem to be cleaned daily. One of our beds was broken.

• Natalie (4/5): War sehr schlecht , sowas hatte ich noch nie erlebt, Fotosvon dem bewohnten Zimmer habe ich nicht gemacht - Uns hat es überhaupt nicht gefallen, eine Nacht war ok Das wir ein Zimmer bekommen haben was noch nicht mal aufgeräumt war ,es war noch bewohnt total dreckig betten waren nicht aufgeräumt leere Wein Flaschen standen vor der Tür ein ganzer Stapel von dreckigen Geschirr stand auf dem Stuhl.

• Moritz (8/5): Für den geringen Preis sehr hübsch in Lage und Ausstattung! - Mein Zimmer war echt hübsch gestaltet. Schlicht, aber sehr urig und authentisch. Ausblick auf die Kirche gefiel mir auch. Lage ist super zentral! Personal war sehr nett!

Nie było info o braku łazienki / toalety w pokojach. Sanitariaty na korytarzu, warto by było poprawić w nich czystość i jakość.. Na dole restauracja, może się zdarzyć że goście będą hałasować, choć na szczęście lokal nie jest czynny do późna w nocy..
• Antonius (4/5): Personal sehr zuvorkommend und hilfreich. Betten katastrophal, Ausstattung unterdurchschnittlich - Die Lage war sehr gut und das Personal, der Eigentümer und alle mit denen man zu tun hatte, waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch wenn es eine Pilgerpension ist, so waren die Betten doch unterste Kategorie und jeder Rückengesundheit abträglich. Das Bad war ok, auch wenn es nicht einen einzigen Haken irgendwo gab, an dem man sein Handtuch hätte aufhängen können. Minimale Investitionen durch den Inhaber würden das ganze schon erheblich aufwerten. Die Erwartungen an eine Pilgerpension sind nicht hoch, aber diese dann noch zu unterschreiten, dass ist schon eine Kunst.
• Bernd (3/5): Einmal und nicht wieder - Lage in der Stadt Die komplette Ausstattung Kabel mit Nagelschellen verlegt TV hängt nur so halb rum und geht nicht Putz oder Farbe geht von der Decke Dusche fließt nicht ab und die Brause ist nur im Handbetrieb zu benutzen Kein Fön Beim Bewegung im Bett ist das halbe Haus wach vor Knarren Altes Haus alles gut aber man kann seine Sachen auch pflegen

• Daniela (4/5): Naja - Lage war gut Haben statt gebuchtem Doppelbett ein Zimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten bekommen. Das Zimmer war so klein dass man diese auch nicht nebeneinander stellen konnte. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns ein Zimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad und -Toilette angeboten. Wohlgemerkt ohne Preisreduktion, obwohl dies beim Buchen günstiger gewesen wäre. Vielleicht stören getrennte Betten nicht jeden, aber ich habe das Zimmer extra so gebucht, da ich meinen Freund nicht täglich sehe.

• Pauline (1/5): Bad - I arrived at 9 om and there was no there to let me in. Neither was there a phone to call. I ended up having to book two rooms in another hotel for the same number of nights. On top of that I was charged as a No show. Terrible service. No one at reception.

• Catherine (7/5): Nice cheap quirky stop over with great surprise near by! - Location was a positive surprise! Our expectation was up to the accomodation description but mainly from other visitors reviews. We were expecting the possibility of bedding not as good as at home ( my husband and I can confirm but our 3 kids slept like a log) and potentially some smell of smoke ( one of the two rooms did...the one at the end of the corridor...maybe a smoker next door?). Shower was basic but clean. We knew the pace had some kind of religious artefacts exposed...she has a very creative mind...nevertheless...it took a while to adjust but we all found the place quirky enough and took it as an experience. The price helped us to balance our expense through our 6 weeks of holidays through Europe. This one day 1 stop over and did not do any research of the place / town... it is a gem and unique place! The main square is only a few meters away and since it was around Christmas time, the whole square was illuminated, same with the building surrounding it. Even if you are not religious or a believer, we invite you to have a look at the little on the square. for your info: https://www.gnadenort-altoetting.de/ we arrived too late for dinner downstairs. By the way the key delivery is from the restaurant main entry, then you will get out, walk back towards the square for a little, there is an other entry not for from the ( delicious) bakery. No elevator and no breakfast possible for us...not sure why but since we parked in front of the bakery to step away...we had coffee, hot chocolate and yummy pastries there. We could not seat but two high round tables did the job and we had lovely chat with an American / Irish couple as well as with lovely chatty Italians who specifically came form Milan to pray in the popular local church. The church not to miss....it is unique. We found the door opened, accessing it empty was lucky as a mass was about to be celebrated. We had fab food in one of the square restaurant!! Bedding...the smoke smell last room of the corridor left side.

• David (5/5): Great room, substandard facilities. But good price and location. - I actually liked my room very much. It was large (double room) and had a basin in it. It was comfortable and quaintly decorated, and was very conveniently located. I found it difficult to find where to check in when I arrived - there was no signage for guests but when I asked cafe staff, they were fairly quick to help. However the shared toilets and showers were very substandard and I was uncomfortable using them.

One member of staff was extremely bad tempered (a second younger member of staff then came to help who could not have been more friendly). There was a shower in the bedroom but it did not drain properly. The toilets were in a shared block. The room was cold and the beds uncomfortable.
