Many eateries outside and convenient stores. The owner is very nice and pleasant. He fetched us at the airport and even sent us back. The family room is meant for 2 adults and 2 kids. Not for bigger children. But the owner gave us 2 rooms instead. Nice owner.

The helped us arrange our itinerary, book attraction and bus tickets and even recommended us routes for the national park. Not only that they constantly checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay and to see if we needed anything else. You can really feel how much they care for their visitors, high recommended! Ayudaron en todo momento a la contratación y asesoramiento de los servicios y excursiones. Las camas estaban limpias Transporte al aeropuerto gratuito. Tuvimos un problema con las habitaciones, pero al día siguiente nos trajeron desayuno para compensar el problema. Para el problema que nos surgió en la habitación (entraba agua durante una tormenta fuerte), nos cambiaron de habitación rápidamente. La calidad de las instalaciones es bastante mejorable, durante una tormenta hubo goteras y entraba agua por una pared (habitación de 3 camas), nos cambiaron en la noche a dos habitaciones y problema solucionado. Los baños son mejorables, son muy pequeños y la ducha esta junto al WC sin cortina ni cristal y al ducharse se moja todo. L ubicación es en un callejón difícil de acceder en un barrio para nada turístico, es un mercadillo. Para cualquier visita requieres un taxi

There were stains on the wall as well amd the sheets do not look clean. Toilet was run down as well. Despite it looking nice in photos, the room was not well-maintained. Had to turn some knob for the water heater to start working. After each shower you need to wait for the water to heat up before the next person can bathe. Room could definitely improve on the cleanliness and flies situation.

- Jose (7/5): Real China experience for a good price. - The reception and treatment given by the owners Tina and her husband were fantastic. They picked us up at the train station and helped us buy tickets for the tours. The place is also very quiet. The location is perfect for those who want to experience the real China. The neighborhood is very simple and not touristy. There is even a very traditional street market on the street of the hotel. The room cleaning and the bathroom could be better.
- 海如 (10/5): Exceptional - The family-run ambiance here is absolutely wonderful! The staff speaks excellent English and assists with booking park tickets. The room, while basic, is impeccably clean – the air conditioning keeps it nice and warm. Although the bathroom is somewhat compact, the hot shower is ample and refreshing. We booked a bus to the National Forest Park, and the service was outstanding. An all-around win! Luggage storage is free after check-out.

However what we like best about this place is the lively surrounding community and to experience up close the local culture. Even though we experienced the general cleanliness but we feel the bathroom wall and floor deserve some attention.

The host couple are very nice and introduced the whole area to us, introduced and helped us booked the tickets to tianmenshan and wulingyuan, there was also one way free shuttle from airport driven by the husband. Very affordable and near airport, good for a short stay. We booked this accommodation solely because it had the triple room option for 3 people. However when we were there, the triple room was given to someone else and we were kinda forced to accept the 2 separate room of 1 kind bed and 2 single bed (if I wanted to book like this I would have went for another place). The husband is forever smoking in the area, it is hell for non-smokers like us. The toilet is not clean as there were dead and alive flies on the toilet floor. Lucky we were only there for 1 night.

They fetched us from the airport and helped us to book the attractions too. The room are big and the beds are comfortable. A plus point for the streets with lots of food stalls, convenient stalls around. Easy to get around either by bus or DiDi.

They were so helpful, from picking us up directly from a 5:00am train to helping us book activities and providing directions. The bathroom was a bit musty, but that’s just because it’s a wet room. The cooking facilities are also very small.

- Maria (5/5): This is more a hostel than a hotel and the category is not more than 1 star. - The location is good even if it is in a secondary street and the staff is really kind and he speaks a good English. There were hairs in the washbasin and it was really noise during the night, people singing and cats fighting. The bathroom has the typical Chinese shower not too comfortable for western people.

- Paul (4/5): Was oke but wrong info about bookung tour - Basic room, friendly and helpfull, free pick up from railwaystation, but one thing spoiled the stay: She told us with 3 double emphesis that we could book Tianmen tour the evening before but the option 1 and 2 was fully booked. The cable car straight to the top was fully booked from 2 ways! So we had to do option 3 which means that you had to do the up and down in the same (long!) way! So we missed the longest cable car of the world!

- Jemes (10/5): Perfect - We only stayed for one night and arrived at 10pm. To our surprise, the manager personally greeted us at the airport. We greatly appreciate it! The hotel was exceptionally comfortable and clean, with a very hospitable staff who arranged transportation to Forest Park. Additionally, there were numerous breakfast restaurants and night markets nearby."

Additionally, they facilitated the advance booking of tickets and transportation to the scenic spot, ensuring a seamless experience. The hotel boasts impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards, with an abundance of nearby dining options for added convenience. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

- Lilith (9/5): I enjoyed a lovely stay and hope to be back one day! - Tina is an amazing host. She cares a lot for her guests and makes sure that they feel comfortable and happy at any time. The rooms are very cozy and lovely decorated. In the surrounding area are only local people so it is a great opportunity to see authentic culture.

- See (9/5): Convenient and comfortable stay. - The location is in the middle of a residential district, so there are many restaurants and amenities available. The host is very very helpful and able to assist us by calling the local taxi. He was kind enough to fetch us from and to the railway station. No comment.
- Franz (7/5): Too cold for winter visit - Great location. The host was very generous in waiting for our train's arrival (which was very late into the night) to give us a ride to the property. We went in mid-January and the apartment was frigid. The in-room heater had a very narrow range and the extra bedroom was too cold to stay in overnight. The bathroom is also ice-cold with limited hot water.
- Warren (10/5): Highly highly recommend, very caring hosts and clean detailed room with great amentities and location. - The room was incredibly nice, spacious beds, heated air conditioning and a majong table with foot heater built in. It was very clean and would highly recommend. Incredible hosts felt more like a homestay if anything. Hosts went above and beyond we had a free pickup from the station and the couple helped us extensively in planning our travels with hiking routes and tips. What separated a good stay and a great one is how caring they were, one night we arrived quite late back from the mountains with heavy snowfall. The lady waited for us and sent us messages showing concern, she also organised our taxis making sure she woke up early in the morning in the snow to make sure we got on the taxi. Overall some of the best stay and hospitality we had ever had collectively. Really appreciate this and would highly recommend, stay is also in a very good location. Thank you auntie and uncle for such a great experience we really appreciate it. There was nothing remotely wrong. Great cleanliness and amenities.

- Elaine (8/5): comfortable stay - The location is really close to a food street, we got there at 11pm and the stalls are still open. Even though the hotel is close to the food stalls, it is very quiet. We got pick up from the airport even though we arrived at 10pm. Tina gave really clear directions on how to visit Tianmen mountain and the National park the hotel is in the alleyway so it could be hard to find without help of staff the toilet is a wet toilet ( shower and toilet in the same room)

- Mark (10/5): A true Chinese culture experience - This small hotel is located less than 10 minutes from Tianmen Mountain. Which is an excellent choice if your main aim of visiting Zhangjiajie for sightseeing. It’s bang in the centre of a community. Lots of Chinese culture all around you. The hosts were excellent. They provide a safe storage for your luggage if you have a late flight. We decided to pay for the room for an extra half day. It cost us £8! Well worth it. They even provided us with free coffee and cakes! They also offer you a free pick up from the airport or a airport drop off. We took up the latter option
- Oscar (10/5): Great price for a nice room. Good location. Very friendly and helpful staff. - Good location. Very helpful staff. Clean room with nice bed, AC and your own toilet. Priceworthy. They even fetched me at the airport :) No breakfast included.
- Nicolette (8/5): Comfortable room and friendly owner. - It’s family owned and the owner was so friendly and helpful. She made sure we were fed and pointed us to local restaurants in the street. There are many local stores around. They came to fetch us from the airport(no charge) and walked us to the hotel, so we didn’t have to try and find it. Beds are very comfortable and it’s clean. There was drilling at 7am in the morning. The shower is a wet shower, so the toilet and sink gets soaked, but still very clean.

- Matthew (6/5): you get what you pay for, low price and adequate space - no breakfast! but the location is convenient we never saw the staff after he picked us up at the airport and checked us in.... if we needed him we just called.... i never once in 3 days saw anyone at the front desk. but he did respond to all calls we made
