Cucina ben attrezzata (in cui forse consiglierei soltanto l'aggiunta di un forno a microonde multifunzione o una piccola airfryer per renderla veramente completa), camera e bagno dotati di tutto quello che serve. Tutto molto pulito! Riscaldamento autonomo super comodo. Poco distante dalla via principale e da un supermercato con prezzi vantaggiosi.

• Fiona (7/5): The Glacier was amazing. - Viviana was very welcoming and gave us lots of info on El Calafate, it was great also to get our Laundry done and it took her no time at all. It was a cosy and warm place to stay. Great to know the short cut into town.

Beds were great. The host went out of her way to help us - from borrowing a converter to help with activities. You have to pay extra if you don't pay cash (credit card for example)

Good value. Not that I didn't like it, but this is a relatively basic place. All good, but the value price = clean, basic, nice folk, walking distance to downtown.

Vinvan did our laundry perfectly. If we come back to El Calafate we would like to stay here even though the accommodation is not five star.

It has everything you need and is thoughtful decorated. It's a great place to stay if you’re looking for some peace and quiet or a bit of quality time together.

It is walkable to town just up a hill. The dog was also a highlight for us. The bathroom was quite cold so we kept the door shut.

Good shower with hot water. Well-heated unit that warms up nicely. Walkable location to the main tourist street with shops and restaurants. Everywhere in El Calafate is pricey so this offers relatively good value for money.

• Colleen (8/5): great value, very very clean and comfortable. - meticulously clean, kind owners, 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms! kitchen common area had no heat which made it very cold compared to bedrooms, location in the winter is just far enough that it’s somewhat too far off the main drag to walk in low temps and icy roads.

• Stefan (10/5): Nice room on the small hill - Very kind host willing to help with everything you would need and very good communication. 10-15 minutes by foot till center area with supermarket ( there are two small shops exactly near the house with fresh food like meat, fruits or vegetables ), bars, nice and very good restaurants etc. The room was big enough with a nice kitchen. Cute dog of the owners :) A big closet for storage, a few hangers would be amazing
• David (3/5): Poor - The truth is that there are few good things to say. The owner was nice, put the heating on (gas), helped us (paying) with the laundry... The facilities are very poor for the asking price. 61€ per night. Bathroom uncomfortable, sometimes smelled bad. A window in the bathroom made of dangerous glass. Windows have no thermal insulation or soundproofing whatsoever. There is a table with two stools that if you want to use it, the table top reaches above your chest. Dangerous gas heating... I find it strange that Booking can have owners with these qualities, could someone from Booking please go and spend a night there? I'll pay for it. The place is far from the centre and does not accept credit cards.

• John (10/5): Exceptional - Family is really nice and very helpful and perfect if you would rather be amongst the local people rather than on the main tourist strip ( which is great for cafes and shops) but not so interesting or authentic . The apartment is part of the family property. Hotel is loccated on a local suburban street with a small soccor pitch next door. The unit is above their house and they have a nice lawn area to sit in. We saved money preparing our own breakfast and lunch . About a km to the main shopping street down a hill so not ideal for those who don't like walking but we enjoyed the walk through the local area (100% safe apart from some barking dogs )
