Guest Reviews
- Meagan (9/5): A lovely place for a quiet get-away. - We were made to feel very comfortable by our host Bronnie. The rooms were lovely, warm and inviting and the breakfast provisions were generous. Access via the front stairs was a little difficult for one person with mobility issues, but taken slowly it wasn't an issue.
- Daniel (10/5): - Great location, staff were lovely, 2 nights wasn't enough and we didn't get to use all of the facilities due to our busy schedule.
Next time we are in the area we'll be booking it again and suggesting it to friends and family too.
- Dane3y (9/5): Beautiful stay surrounded by nature <3 - I loved meeting the hosts, Bronnie and Archie. They were so lovely. I liked that the room & bathroom were spacious and cozy, and that we had our own personal spa bath in our room. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the pool and sauna due to the bad weather so we stayed indoors, but they have board games and chess you could play to keep you occupied on bad weather days. And I even managed to do some painting in my room, overlooking the beautiful scenery outside, which was lovely. I liked they had a wide selection of tea that you could make anytime, perfect for the cold weather, and some cookies! :) Would be great if there were more options for breakfast like cereal and oats. :)
Also, the remote for the air conditioner/heater in the room wasn't really working so our room was either too hot or cold and we couldn't really change the temperature. It was very temperamental.
- Linda (10/5): I'd love to come back. - The location is superb because the house is situated on a very quiet and green street but it's not far from the center. The veranda offers a magnificent view towards the mountains, providing a serene and picturesque setting.
The rooms are spacious and bright. The beds have electric blankets.
The spa outside and a foot massager in a game room are great bonus!
The breakfast facilities are fantastic. I would like if the place was pet friendly.
- Linda (10/5): Wish I could have stayed longer - Everything! The hosts gave clear directions, entry instructions, and great suggestions for sight-seeing. My room was beautiful, spacious and luxurious - complete with double docker tub. The amenities were great - BBQ, sauna, jacuzzi, swimming pool, beautiful gardens. I didn't have time to explore them all.
Plenty of shared space - large indoor lounge, several seating areas on the large covered deck, and a self-serve kitchen with breakfast supplies. Coffee, tea and cookies available all day. No complaints. Just one suggestion... put a railing beside the jacuzzi tub to make it easier to get in and out of. Also, for prospective guests, be aware there are about a dozen steps to get into the house.
- TheRauls (9/5): - The owners are very welcoming.
The room was clean.
The sharing areas are spacious and comfortable.Perfect for groups or families.
The kitchen has all what you need to make coffee, sandwiches and eggs for breakfast. They offer bread, eggs, cornflakes, milk, butter, gam, honey... for free, generous out of them.
The views from the room and outside are relaxing and calming. Nothing we didn't like
- Rohan (10/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights, the hosts Bronnie and Neil were great. Sitting on the verandah with a view to the - The property is lovely, well located near the Main Street however tucked away with beautiful surroundings. Very peaceful and everything you need for a getaway to relax.
- Yvette (6/5): Was goed voor twee dagen - Prachtig uitzicht vanaf veranda, dicht bij het dorpje gelegen Niet echt heel schoon, keuken en koelkast werden niet heel goed bijgehouden tijdens ons verblijf.
- Natalie (9/5): It was a beautiful place to unwind and relax. The hosts are lovely people and they have thought of everything to make fo - The beautiful views, nicely appointed rooms, cleanliness, hosts, different areas to relax

- Robyn (9/5): - Quiet and peaceful
Comfortable bed and lovely room
Lovely hospitality
- Mann (10/5): - The games, the view
- Deborah (9/5): A comfortable stay in a peaceful, scenic environment with friendly, helpful hosts. - The location was great- close enough to walk to the shops. One of the aspects I enjoyed the most was the fabulous view of Mount Riddell that I had from my bedroom window. It was so relaxing sitting and watching the view, the changing sky.
It was a very comfortable stay. Bronnie, Neil and Archie were very friendly. Very handy that you could help yourself to the dining area with breakfast and drinks available.
- Alyssa (10/5): We couldn’t have asked for a better time! Such a beautiful place with wonderful spaces/amenities, and really helpful - Gorgeous and tranquil location!
- Milla (10/5): -
- John (7/5): - Room was comfortable WI-FI non virtually non existant. For the cost completely do it yourself breakfast quite disappointing.
- Michael (10/5): Highly recommended for a stay in the Yarra Valley. - Great location and wonderful views. Many facilities on offer and well equipped rooms. Hosts were friendly and helpful.
- Kaira (7/5): -
- Charlotte (10/5): Perfect slice of heaven - We had such a wonderful relaxing few days at the Rosebank Guesthouse. Room was beautiful and tidy and the amenities were fantastic. They had a heated pool, a spa and a sauna but the sauna was out of action when we stayed. Everything was exceptional would definitely stay here again. It's a short walk i to Healesville and the Thai restaurant 5 minutes walk down the road was great.
Thank you for a lovely stay. Nothing. Everything was wonderful
- Stapleton (8/5): -
- Antony (10/5): Tranquility and space - The location is fabulous and the view from the verandah is wonderful. It was so tranquil to sit outside and have breakfast looking over the mountain. The rooms are huge and there is so much shared space to spend time in when you're in the house. Lovely high ceilings inside and the spa, pool and sauna area outside is a pleasant space to sit and enjoy a glass of wine after visits to the vineyards. Nothing
- Janet (9/5): -
- Julie (10/5): -
- Kate (10/5): Perfect stay! Can’t wait to come back - Really comfy, has everything you need and more
- Hannan (9/5): -
- Christina (9/5): Beautiful, charming and cosy! - A gorgeous setup with so much charm! The room was spacious, clean, & so comfortable with the bonus of a giant bathtub. An easy 20 min walk into town and a very peaceful deck to enjoy the provided breakfast. Would book again in a heartbeat - Bronnie was also super friendly and helpful before and during our stay. Slightly thin walls - can hear others walking around or talking in the common areas from the room but nothing major and to be expected in shared accom!
- Steven (7/5): - Room clean, comfortable with room to spread your wings. There are maintainence to be completed. Wood around sink in breakfast room.
- Jamila (10/5): -
- John A (10/5): A pleasant and well-equipped guest house in a great Healesville location offering good value - A pleasant, comfortable and well-equipped guest house in a great Healesville location with an equally pleasant bushland outlook. Bronnie was particularly welcoming as was Neil (along with Archie the dog and Rosie the cat plus the magpies). Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and armchairs upon which relax and enjoy the view of the gardens, treetops and Mt Riddell. The bathroom was also large with a spa bath and separate shower and plenty of hot water. There are also communal lounge areas, a sauna, hot tub and small pool and a BBQ on the rear deck, and a large verandah at the front. The self-service/self-catering breakfast (cereals, fruit, juice, toast, eggs and bacon) is a great idea, giving guests flexibility in when they may wish to eat. It's a communal preparation and eating area that also gives guests the chance to meet and chat with others over breakfast should they so wish. Healesville town is a short drive or walk away and offers a range of eating-out and shopping options with wineries and tourist attractions also not too far away. Overall, we had a great stay and will certainly book again when next visiting the area. -
- Pam (9/5): - We loved the location and relaxing facilities ... our host Bronnie was delightful and welcoming.
- Frances (10/5): - Very friendly, exceptional facilities. Exceeded all expectations. The spa was glorious and very strong attention to details. No complaints
- Tia (10/5): - We stayed for the weekend and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The owners live onsite and were incredibly welcoming and helpful, which really added a personal touch to our stay. The property itself was fantasticbeautifully maintained and very comfortable. We absolutely loved the location and really enjoyed spending time there. The spa was a highlight and perfect for relaxing, and the rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and felt luxurious. To top it all off, we had such a lovely view, which made our stay even more special. With the house being older, you can hear a bit when people walk / talk especially if they are getting in late. Otherwise the experience was incredible.
- Charlotte (9/5): -
- Daniel (10/5): -
- Colin (10/5): Everything was as advertised. Fantastic accommodation. Great owners who catered for everything. - Breakfast selection was great, no specific time, help yourself at any time. Coffee. tea and juice available all day.
Location was great, our room had a great view of the mountains and surrounding area.
Owners were very friendly and helpful.
The guesthouse had lots of space to chillout, with games and books to entertain yourself.
A pool, spa and sauna were also available. Nothing
- Elisha (10/5): A beautiful place that I would definitely look foward to staying at again - The room was spacious and clean and bright. The bath tub was my highlight! The only downside is that there wasn’t any Almond Milk for coffee
- Paul (10/5): Outstanding accommodation - A hidden gem, wonderful hosts and
Marvellous facilities and great breakfast ( Bookings . Com need to change your description as you state breakfast not included but it is. Will go back. Nothing
- Kate (10/5): Homely guesthouse with the most lovely hosts! - A lovely stay at Rosebank Guesthouse - Bronnie and Neil were so welcoming and accommodating we could not have asked for better hosts. We really loved the breakfast, sauna and pool and how close the property was to Healesville centre. Rooms were super clean and had everything that you may need. We would absolutely return if we are ever back in Healesville, thank you so much! Nothing!
- Nicoletta (9/5): -
- Milan (10/5): -
- Margaret (10/5): - The property was spacious and comfortable
Loved our room. Plenty of general use sitting rooms, inside and on front deck. Spa sauna and pool area great. Use of kitchen and bbq ideal for anyone wanting to eat in. Country ambience fantastic . Very relaxing few days. Would stay longer next time Can't fault anything with the property
No taxi or uber service in town kept us under .05 many steps to navigate front entrance. ??? If rear entrance can be utilised if disabled

- Elizabeth (10/5): Peaceful, private, perfect - Everything was great!
- Ashleigh (10/5): Perfect place for peaceful weekend away - I really enjoyed my stay at the Rosebank Guesthouse! The property is stunning - its a beautiful, well-restored heritage home that feels completely secluded and serene. However, it was only a few mins drive from Healesville town centre, so we still had access to everything we wanted to see!
Bronnie and Neil were delightful hosts - they made sure we had everything we needed and provided great recommendations for nearby cafes & wineries.
I would definitely stay here again!

The location is good, quiet and peaceful. The kookaburras at dusk and Archie coming to say good morning was a highlight of my stay :)) Nothing.
- Boon Seng (9/5): - Very helpful and friendly host ......
- chris (8/5): - Large room with great view and comfortable bed Brrakfast was help yourself
- Lavinia (10/5): Excellent bed and breakfast, can't rave enough about this place -
- Anna (8/5): We had an enjoyable and relaxing time at the guesthouse. - Great hosts, location, and variety of facilities, including the hot spa and sauna. Extra bonus feeding the wild Australian birds in the morning. Beautiful view from our room before heading out to explore the town and nearby locations. The bathroom was beautiful, but had some flaws due to the house structure. The shower floor can be slippery, despite the shower mat put in place. There was a small area of mould in the ceiling above the shower. Although this didn’t affect our experience there, it was an area that can be improved.
- Nicki (10/5): - Beautiful accommodation, excellent location! Noise of the toilet water constantly running
- caroline (8/5): Great location and lovely house - Lovely roomy accommodation very well situated in Healesville. The hosts provided a fantastic breakfast you can pull together yourself which we really appreciated
