• Lisa (8/5): - It was a bit tricky to find it, but once we did it was a very pleasant room in a nice complex. Breakfast offered but due to an early start we didnt have breakfast at the property. Host let us in a little earlier which was kind of him, as we were tired from a long journey. Thank you!

• Костадин (9/5): Excelent rest - Fantastic place, quick accommodation, nice people. Nice room. The only sound was the birds sing outside, to wake me up kindly in the morning. The shops were closed.

• Bistra Blagoeva (10/5): Чудесна къща за гости, препоръчвам. - Къщата е на идеално място, в началото на Копривщица. Всичко е на пешеходно разстояние. Много бързо се регистрирахме и настанихме. Помещението е на две нива, много добре разпределено, поддържано и чисто. Леглата са удобни, има локално парно и беше много топло. Вътрешният двор е много спокоен и приятен. Двете легла на долния етаж са много удобни, но доста тесни. Не би било лошо да има някакви чаши в стаята.

• Fanchoy (9/5): Хубаво, но не отлично - Разположението на къщата, двора и голямата тераса, леглата са много удобни, завивките са уникални, атмосферата вътре е запазена възрожденска. Целият дом е реновиран чудесно, има малък паркинг срещу входната врата. Домакинът ни даде повече време при напускането. Затопля се бавно стаята, трудно се настройват топлата и студената вода, неудобна е мивката в банята.

Добавени са удобства за гостите, за съжаление за сметка на градината, но вероятно са необходими. Затъмняващи пердета на някои от стаите.

• Sandra (9/5): Una casa encantadora - Todo. La ubicación es perfecta para conocer este precioso pueblo. Además, esta es una casa tradicional preciosa, con un bonito jardín muy cuidado y las habitaciones están decoradas de forma tradicional. Está todo muy limpio y es un lugar muy acogedor. Su cocina compartida es muy completa y puedes hacerte café y té a cualquier hora. Por último, nos gustaría destacar la amabilidad de su dueño, una persona muy profesional y amable. No se podía pagar con tarjeta, con lo que tuvimos que ir a sacar dinero de uno de los pocos cajeros que hay en la zona y la comisión fue de un 6%. Sería recomendable avisar por adelantado del pago en metálico o de incorporar el pago con tarjeta y evitar estas comisiones abusivas de algunos cajeros en zonas con pocas opciones.

• Juan (9/5): Nice town and hotel - It's a small town, nice weather, I can walk everywhere, people were friendly, they gave me indications where to go, the hotel was great, small, staff was helpful, speak English, good restaurants nearby. Nothing.

It was hard to find for us as we don't understand Bulgarian but with some help managed to get there. You have to go through a seperate door to get to the building. It would have been really good if they could have supplied a kettle to boil water fo a hot coffee or tea

Whether it was because we were exhausted or simply because the bed was so incredibly comfortable, we slept exceptionally well. The mattress seemed to be of very high quality, providing the perfect balance of support and softness. It was one of the best nights of sleep we've had in a long time! The entire guesthouse exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with a charming blend of elegance and coziness. The garden is a true oasis—lush, peaceful, and impeccably maintained. It was a delight to relax there and enjoy the serene environment. The host was wonderfully courteous and attentive without being intrusive. His discrete yet warm approach made us feel truly at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating stay.

• Chira (5/5): A disappointment. - Good location. Cute building. Stained mattress cover. Window in bathroom didn't open. No fitted bottom sheet and no top sheet at all. Only overhead ceiling light. No bedside table lamp. No fan. No mosquito screens. Property is described as no smoking, but every table outside every room is equipped with an ashtray and everyone is smoking. Only one glass for 2 people.

• Zlatina (10/5): 100% recommend - The room was comfortable, cosy and clean. The whole place is well taken care of, with a beautiful area in the interior yard to sit and relax. The breakfast, a typical traditional Bulgarian breakfast, was so tasty, and the coffee was amazing too. The owner was very kind and helpful, and answered quickly to our requests. Due to the rainy weather we couldn’t see much of Koprivshtitsa, but I’ll definitely save the place as a favourite one for our next trip in the area. It’d be nice to have an extra toilet roll in case.

• Elżbieta (10/5): Exceptional - Great localisation! The host is lovely, we merely parked and he approached us introducing himself. The parking is not in the guest house's area, but it's easy and comfortable and right outside. Lovely room in an old house, the bathroom is typically Bulgarian but clean and perfectly fine. Good selection of channels on TV. Didn't love that the sheets were a bit small so unable to tuck in and we woke up sleeping mostly on a bare matress. But it's a small thing, we loved our stay ❤️
• Ivaylo (10/5): Wonderful place in the heart of wonderful Koprivshtitsa - Lovely place in the heart of Koprivsthitsa city! The house and the interior were following the typical historical traditional style for the region which adds awesome vibe to the whole experience! The apartment we stayed in had a fireplace - the host was very kind and prepared the fireplace in advanced, so all we had to do when we arrived was to light the fire and enjoy the evening in front of the fireplace. The host was very professional and well organized - he gave us very good and useful information about the area and places were we can eat. Inside the garden, there is a very well equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare your own meal. There is also a sitting area inside the kitchen so you can sit and enjoy your breakfast/lunch/dinner. And of course - there is a coffee machine inside and coffee was on the house! The house is right next to the city center, there are couple of good restaurants walking distance, as well as different shops. There is a space to park your car (if you arrive with a car), right in front of the property. In general - wonderful place, very good and professional host - thank you! Nothing to add here

We had to sit outside on the patio for it to work. It might be better in other rooms - we were at the far end of the building.

• Mairin (9/5): Cute guesthouse with a really pretty garden! - The property has a beautiful garden and is right near the downtown area. Our room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable, particularly the pillows. The owner was nice and it was easy to check in and park nearby. Although the bed was comfortable, the sheets came right off the bed (I know that fitted sheets aren't a thing in Europe, but these were so small they couldn't be tucked into the mattress either). So during the night we both kept waking up lying right on the mattress. We also paid for the breakfast, and while it was ok, I thought it was not a good value especially compared to other breakfasts we have had at guesthouses in Bulgaria and the prices of local food in the restaurants compared to the portion sizes. We didn't realize at first that you could just use the kitchen, so I would recommend bringing breakfast food of your own to prepare.

It reminds me of "The hobbit" a bit. The owner was the coolest owner I've ever met. The photos are real, everything looks the same. It was so cozy, you can't resist but feel at home. I loved everything, surely coming back.

• Louche (10/5): Paradise x 2! - The breakfast each morning (8Lev/per person) was outstanding: French Toast (my wife says the best in the world ,and she would know). Boreks / blini's(feta filled pastry fried) and crepes as good as any in Paris, Great coffee/cappuccino, superb honey and preserves. Unless you are prepared to self-cater breakfast, there is no place in this village to get a better breakfast. Very easy parking, very close by. There are lots of patio spaces with table and chairs if you prefer to eat outdoors. The breakfast room is quite small and fills up very fast with even with 1 family and 3 kids. You can get your wonderful breakfast and it anywhere outside or in your room if you wish ,however!. You have the use of the fully stocked kitchen (utensils, pans, oven and stove/large refrigerator to prepare your own meals if you wish in the evening. ( Mostly I made "shopka" salads for us), There really aren't any breakfast places in town. The property itself is a welcome respite from the ubiquitous cigarette smoke you'll find at most BG cafes and restaurants. The host( Vasilis) is most welcoming, speaks good English, . There are a dozen "guest-houses" in town, and even without trying the others, I am confident that this is the best one! The garden court yard is filled with roses and other flowers, making it an ideal place to just loaf if you wish. We were there in late June. Tourist volume was low, with a weekend peak of primarily BG families from Sofia. Apparently the peak is in August with several music festivals. Better lighting in the upstairs loft (with lightbulbs that work). The bathroom is small . The shower unenclosed /water everywhere on the floor when finished. Typical BG, and Turkish shower arrangement, it maybe a bit difficult for western Europeans or North Americans, OTOH the water pressure is great and the very hot water abundant. This is a minor quibble which did not detract from our complete enjoyment of this guest house.
