De zalige welness waarbij je even kan ontspannen aan de drukte. Ook het persoonlijk ontbijtje was héél lekker, dit hebben we kunnen benuttigen in de tuin. Daarnaast was de kamer heel ruim en hebben we zeer goed geslapen.

• Bruna (10/5): Great experience - they are very friendly and the place is very clean and comfortable. you can reach the beach in 7 minutes by car and there are a lot of restaurants around( you can also find a supermarket near). the sauna, jacuzzi and the pool are great! I also loved the breakfast, a lot of options. It’s possible to hear a little the noise from the street (people talking loud), but it was quiet after 23h.

Definitely worth a stop during a bike ride or walk.

Lovely people, individually designed, spacious rooms, tasty breakfast, free newspaper, relaxing garden and great Ice Café adjoint. They are going the extra mile to give every guest the 'feels like home' experience. Even our pets did not seem to raise any questions, they were welcome too, as part of the family. Hence, overall highly recommended.
• Mieketing (8/5): Pleasant stay - We have stayed in Nieuwpoort stad before and in this B&B the owners make the difference. Very pleasant reception, nice variety in breakfast, relaxing mood, free internet. We had the large room on the top floor and it can be too warm in summer, on the other hand, it's a very quiet room. You can relax in the garden or living room with some newspapers that are provided, there is a coffee machine and a fridge with soft drinks and beers. It's a nice walk to the boardwalk (approx 15mins) and from there 30-40mins on foot to Nieuwpoort Bad.

• Deborah0008 (10/5): Very pleasant stay - Upon arrival, we were greeted by the very friendly owner. She showed us the breakfast area and the salon where the newspapers of the day are always available together with free coffee and cake in the afternoon. She walked us to the room on the second floor with us (no elevator). The room is very spacious and has everything you need. There is even free coffee, tea, hot chocolate and soup provided. There are all kinds of free products in the bathroom (shampoo, soap, razor, ...) and everything was super clean. The breakfast is great. Several types of bread, sandwiches, cheese, meat, cereal, juice, coffee, tea, yoghurt. It's also possible to order eggs, any style you'd like. For those who love walking, it's great to explore the area around the river Yser, see lots of animals and see the reminders of the world war. I would definitely recommend this B&B for the 90 Euro for a night we paid. People should be aware of the fact though, this place is approximately 3,5km from the seaside (40 minutes walk). The tram stop is only a 5 minutes walk away though.

The lady could not have been more welcoming, and the two twin rooms in the top floor roofspace were spacious and comfortable. I literally could not fault the facilities in any way. A first class establishment, and very cycle friendly (like the whole country of Belgium really) Highly recommended..

Comfortable and spacious accommodation in the old town just around the corner from the market square and a short walk from the Kustramm. A great brasserie just round the corner too - In de Lewte. Don't bother youself with 4 and 5 star hotels come here instead. Nieupoort itself in a lovely Flemish town not overun with tourists. Take the Kust Tram and visit resorts up and down the coast.
• ginovandevelde (10/5): Stay here if you can - not on the seafront but well worth staying here. quiet shopping street. host who knows what she is doing. nice big rooms, comfortable and equipped with everything a guest needs to make him feel welcome (free bottles of water, free fruit, free decent coffee in the lounge area and free coffee, tea, hot chocolate in the room, ...). breakfast is of the same standard. helpful host, she couldn't do enough for you. stay here if you can.
• paulshopboy (10/5): The most welcoming hotel in the world - We arrived late on a Friday night for a weekend break. The owner came to our car and directed us where to park in the town for free, then carried our heavy case all the way from the car to the room. Upon arrival we we're offered free bottled water and fresh fruit. The room was beautifully decorated and large enough for 4 people to stay in. There is a garden which is also very nice with a place for smokers to have a cigarette in peace and quiet. The location is excellent, we wanted to go to Plopsaland theme park which was only 20 minutes by the coastal tram which is only 5 mins walk from the hotel. During our stay due to an error with our banks computers back in the UK, we we're left stranded with no cash and couldn't at first pay for our room. The owner (Tanya) went out of her way to help us and made us less stressed than we should of been. Overall this really is the best place I've ever stayed and I recommend you book to stay here soon.
• meskean (8/5): Lovely host - If you want to be on the seafront, don't pick this B&B, as it is in the center of the town of Nieuwpoort (all reconstructed houses after the damages of the great war), and not within a minute walking distance of the beach ! It used to be a shop, and it still shows in the windows. It has a very nice closed garden to enjoy. The room was large, with a bedroom, separate bathroom and an area with a sofa, table, fridge, electric kettle with complimentary teabags, instant coffee, ... Free bottled water and apples were offered as well. Breakfast was absolutely fine, with newspapers available to go through. The place lacks some character, neutral rooms with some not so nice paintings. The breakfast room chairs could do with an upgrade. However, as has been said before, the host couldn't be better and will go all the way to make sure you get what you want and more. To be recommended
• moneymax (10/5): Perfect host - We had a large, cosy room with a sofa. Breakfast was excellent served in a beautiful breakfast room. But the host was simply the best. She was very helpful, friendly en chearful.
• Daydreamer58 (8/5): A good place for a short break at sea - Nieuwpoort makes a difference to most of the Belgian seaside resorts thanks to its architecture. Amidst this charming town you find the B&B. We felt to become temporary citizens, reading the local newspaper and chatting with the owners in the nice breakfast room. The breakfast choice is limited but in case anything run short it will be replaced immediately. Street-side parking was close to the hotel in a parallel street with a direct shortcut to the entrance. Beach-lovers be aware that you have to walk about 1 kilometer to reach the sea and then probably not the best beach of the Belgian coast. But for us looking for certain attractions and enjoying beach promenades in other resort towns the tram stop was conveniently located (1/2 km distance). At least half a dozen restaurants are within the same distance. All in all an enjoyable experience.
• MJMSeattle (10/5): The owners bent over backwards to be helpful. - We had a delightful room that had a separate sitting area with flat screen TV, microwave and small refrigerator connected to a comfortable bedroom. Our room overlooked the street below. Other rooms share views of the lovely gardens. Decor is European contemporary with a touch of hip. Location is quiet, but close to the square, restaurants and services. A new laundromat is a few doors away. The owners are a young couple who will be expanding and adding several new rooms. Tania actually drove us and our gear to the start location of our boat charter and then picked us up at the market to ferry our provisions back to the boat. Unexpected and overwhelmingly gracious service.
• andyjbu (10/5): Home away from home - Pretty old townhouse location, but quiet. Modern, functional rooms. Excellent breakfast. Very helpful hosts. Ideal for visits to coast and towns or overnights for ferry tours. Have stayed there at least 4 times and will certainly return.
