• Jasper (9/5): Heerlijk huis met prachtig uitzicht - Er zit heel veel liefde en aandacht in dit huisje. Het uitzicht is fantastisch en het zal je hier aan niets ontbreken. De keuken is zeer uitgebreid met allerlei kruiden en sausjes. De pruimen uit eigen tuin stonden al voor ons klaar. Een heerlijke plek! Staat los van de accommodatie maar in Powell River zelf is eigenlijk vrij weinig te beleven. Wij zouden zelf een volgende keer voor Earls Cove kiezen, dat is wat levendiger. Maar dat is maar net waar je van houdt.

• Victoria (10/5): Very comfortable, spotlessly clean suite with expansive water views, beach closeby and lovely hosts. - The hosts, Sylvia and Don, were attentive, friendly and responsive for us if we needed them. They even brought us home baked cookies on the second day and there was homemade quince jam in the kitchen. - all delicious. I asked for the recipe for the cookies and Sylvia delivered a printed copy to us in the suite - amazing! The property was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. Everything needed was thought of and the suite has an eclectic and interesting vibe. We had quite a bit of rain when we were there, with it being late May, and were travelling with our 89 year old mother so to have such a comfortable, cozy space to spend time in was wonderful. Having the beach so close by and the views of the Strait from the property was a bonus we took advantage of, even with the rain. We would all go back there in a heartbeat.
• Dakotah (9/5): Superb - Close to town yet very private, eagles were very active and entertaining to view from the deck. Heated floors are a great addition. We had a great time BBQing with a view Wish we had more time to explore the beach. Nothing we didn't like. Everything was provided and in good shape.

I loved the antique furniture decor & the awesome modern bathroom! Perfect for 2 couples get away! Personally I would have loved cotton sheets.. I tend to overheat in synthetic fabrics. Not a biggie.. just me.

• Ling (10/5): fantastic and memorable experience - The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The stay is fantastic. The room is clean and with all the supplies. The private beech is awesome. I slept so well here as the night is unbelievable quiet, the woods block all the noise. We enjoyed the every moment when we were there. None.

We were uncertain it was the right place but the owner was there at the end of the road to welcome us. The weather was could have been better but we were in a great place!
