• Ben (5/5): Passable - The manager found me an alternative place to stay because When I arrived at the Guest House it was closed. Very stressful experience It wasn't open
• Niroj (5/5): Basic - Nice, peaceful location with free parking spots. The bed is comfortable. The room is basic, small, and narrow with minimal facilities. There is no water boiler, hairdryer, or cups. The heating and ventilation systems are not functional at all. The bed linens are thin, and cleanliness could be improved.

• Sharon (7/5): Large very clean room in a traditional gasthaus. - At first glance the property looks old and worn, but actually you can see the owner is trying to up date the property. Our room had enough space for a larger family and a sparkling bathroom and toilet. The kitchenette was dated and a little odd but it was ok. Unfortunately we arrived on a Sunday and the owner was sick and nothing was open. However the lovely young man on duty had rang to apologise and pre warn us that there would be no food, and the same young man served us a plain but acceptable breakfast the next day. He was very attentive and friendly. It was a shame we didn’t get to experience the kitchens, but you can’t help it if you get sick ! Overall a clean and comfortable room within budget. Our room smelt a bit of smoke, and one side of the double bed was a little creaky. Not major issues, but as non smokers slightly lowered what would have been a higher score.

• Matteo (9/5): Go there. You won’t be disappointed - Nice hotel in a wonderful scenary. Rooms are big and quiet and above all can be made very dark for the night (not common north of the Alps. Well done, guys!). Beds are comfy with spotless sheet. Bathroom has a perfect plumbing and there are fluffy towels to pamper you. Breakfast has not cooked items but it’s very nice. The annexed restaurant serves AMAZING dishes. The cream of garlic soup is worth the trip. I will definitely return if in the area again. My stay was too short

• Catalina (9/5): Superb - Together with my husband, we wanted to make a day trip to Vaduz and this hotel was quite close to the border. The room was great with nice view from the balcony. In the evening when we arrived the heat was not working in the hotel but we got an aerotherm which was sufficient in the breakfast was very good the next day with very large variety of bakery products We also had parking space and the car was even visible from our balcony. The only inconvenience we found was that although on arrival, when we checked in, the wifi was working in the hotel, after we returned from our evening walk, somewhere after 22:00 it was no longer working.

The good food and the generosity of our host. For an overnight stop on the way to Italy, Gasthaus Krone is ideal. Set in beautiful surroundings with a bar and restaurant, it is perfect. Our room was clean and functional. Great for bikers and cyclists but perhaps lacking some home comforts for oldies like us!

• Gordon (9/5): A one night stopover. - The welcome from the hosts Michael and Ramona was amazing. warm and friendly. they made us feel like one of the family. We had an evening meal after our long journey. The food was excellent. the local beer served up was also very nice. The views across the valley are amazing. if you go to the back of the church yard across the street, there are no buildings in front of you to obscure the views. As there was no air conditioning on a very hot evening, a fan in the room would be very welcome.
