• Filip (10/5): - Byl jsem tu noc jediným ubytovaným hostem, takže jsem nepocítil případné nepohodlí společné koupelny :) Navzdory tomu, že jsem byl jediný host, tak jsem byl plnohodnotně obsloužen jak u večeře tak u snídaně, to mě příjemně překvapilo. Personál byl milý a ochotný. Vybavení je starší a matrace není úplně můj šálek kávy, ale nic hrozného. Je to horská chata.
• Kerstin (3/5): Mit einer Reisegruppe kann ich einen guten Zwischenaufenthalt machen, übernachten würde ich nicht - Das Frühstück war ausreichend und einfach gehalten. Jedoch war es insgesamt wie die Räumlichkeiten - lauwarm. Das Essen war wie aus der Tiefkühlwegwerfpackung. Obwohl eine Küche da war, war es nur aufgewärmtes Essen. Satt sind wir geworden, jedoch war es kein hoher Standard, sehr einfach. Das Bier war sehr gut

• David (2/5): Unpleasant stay but strategically located - It is a traditional mountain chalet strategically located in the heart of the natural park. The facilities are generally clean. Smelling facilities, especially the dining room. There are only two bathrooms for the whole chalet to share. Cold everywhere, especially in the common rooms including the bathrooms (the heaters are centrally controlled). Bank cards are not accepted, only cash (and a QR bank transfer if the "owner" is present). The breakfast (180 CZK) is acceptable, but do not expect that you can prepare your own tea.

• Ralph (5/5): Für 1 Nacht okay. - Es war zu kalt, weil die Kamine nicht betrieben werden dürfen und die elektr. Heizung nicht ausreichte. Das war eine Zumutung! Einziger Vorteil davon: Das leckere Bier wurde nicht warm!

The room with shared bathroom is basic but in line with our expectation. It would be nice to have a cupboard or another place where to put your clothes.

• Mariola (10/5): - Lokalizacja fantastyczna wynagradza drobne uniedogodnienia. Wszystko zgodnie z opisem. Pościel czysta, łóżka wygodne. Wspólna łazienka na piętrze: umywalki, prysznic i toalety. Stare schronisko z duszą w centrum Parku Narodowego. Przemili gospodarze. Bardzo dobre śniadania. Dojazd samochodem tylko dla gości posiadających rezerwację.

Food was good and at good price You can pay cash only, they could give you some tick list to track what you’ve had so you can easily know how much you’ll pay Staff don’t speak any English at all and could be a bit more helpful and informative in general. The top bunk bed had some cracks so we were scared the bed could collapse Bathroom wasn’t very clean No bin or any facilities in the room or the hall

• Norbert (9/5): Fantastic location, friendly staff, pragmatic interior - The location is excellent. You cannot sleep deeper in the Bohemian Switzerland than in this place. The staff is very friendly. The food and the breakfast are basic, but good. The house is equipped pragmatic, the rooms are well heated. The surrounding mountains are great, of course. If you like a bath at any time of the year, the swimming pool on a rock nearby is a crazy place, especially in Winter. If the national park ranger meets you while you drive to the place, just tell that you sleep (!) in the Chata - than it is allowed to drive to the place, even if you get the permit only there. The restaurant was not very warm in winter, what was the only real disadvantage for us. Things worth to mention for other travellers: The shared bathroom is quite basic, but clean. Do not expect a lot of the rooms, they are as simple as shown on the pictures - but fully ok. The beds are comfortable for sleeping. Unfortunately the nice ovens cannot be used, due fire security. But the rooms are anyway very warm (except the restaurant room).
• Matej (9/5): Superb - Great location, deep in the national park. Helpful and friendly staff. Unbeatable price. Comfortable and clean rooms for the price category. I can definitely recommend this place as a getaway in the nature or sleeping option on a multi-day hike. When arriving by car, the signs are not clear enough - there's a driveway with a sign forbidding cars to drive into the national park. The tourists staying at the accomodation have an exception though, and can use the driveway.

• Rob (10/5): The best place in nature where you can reconnect to your self. Feel relaxed and at peace. - This place is perfect for nature lovers. Perfect location in the woods where you can hike or ride your bike. Accomodation has a great atmosphere. The woman that run the place are treating guests as if you are their best friends. Very personal attitiude. You feel you instead of one of many clients. The accomodation is basic which suits the surroundings. We dont need the material things when we are back in contact with nature. So you pay very little and you get a lot more in return. It was my second visit here and if i will be hiking in this area i will be back for sure. Thanks. All my expectatitions were met. And even more.
• Jiri (8/5): Great place! - Beautiful location! Very peaceful and very nice hostess. A stag wandered into the yard and the outside sitting area is very nice. Cool rocks. Food was delicious and prices were reasonable. We were very comfortable and had the place to ourselves.

• Malgorzata (10/5): Exceptional - The location is marvellous - in the middle of the beautiful forest, just a few steps from tourists trails. At night you can hear only sounds of nature and see sky so full of stars, as you never be able to see anywhere closer to civilisation. Staff is great, supportive and nice, restaurant serves good food and drinks, breakfasts are available, etc. Joint bathrooms need a bit of renovation.

• Marcin (8/5): Very good - no electric kettle or glasses/mugs in rooms. kitchen is being closed after 8pm and there is no chance to get hot water after that hour. unless you're going to bring your own gear. also when kitchen/dining room closes, there is only access to single bathroom/toilet on the 1st floor. minor inconviniences, nothing scary.
• Maria (3/5): Friendly staff but everything else a miss - Friendly staff and good breakfast although there is an additional charge despite it being labeled as a B&B. First off the main road to reach the hotel was blocked for construction with no notice from hotel staff so we had to drive an extra hour around the towns on a road that doesn't show up on Google map to reach it. Upon arrival we were informed that they do not accept card payments so we used all the cash we had taken out to pay for it. We were given a room at the top of the stairs with bunkbeds which were extremely unstable and shook every time either of us moved. On top of that we weren't able to sleep for more than an hour or so all night since the walls are paper thin and there is no quiet time observed and people were walking around the hallways talking all night. Our door also had a large window in the middle which was covered by a light cloth curtain but every time someone walked through the hallway (about once every 15-30 mins all night) the automatic light turned on and the entire room was illuminated. There are two shared bathrooms on the entire floor although one did not have toilet paper. No hand soap or hand towels in either.
• Karburator (7/5): Nice stay inside national park. - Nice place - inside the national park. You can get there by own car - but only if you have your place booked. Nice Czech food. We had no cash, there is no option to pay by card (no GSM connectivity), staff agreed that we will pay by wire-transfer. Area around is clearly impacted by recent wild-fires, but obviously this is nothing the staff can do about.
• Anonymous (5/5): expensive food with bad quality. everything is frozen and badly prepared. - I have reserved our stay at the property for certain amount of money but when we arrived we had to pay loads more - 15€ more. They took the euro price, changed it to Czech coronas and then again for euro. The issue is that the exchange rate than they used didn’t exist. it has never existed before or after our stay and it was of course to make more money for them. It’s a thief. We paid as the lady suddenly started speaking with very very fast Czech although she knew we don’t understand it. We also didn’t get a receipt for our stay. The employee told us we will get it on our email so we have them an email address but as you can assume no receipt ever came through. I’ve raised this issue with booking.Com and they said it’s very wrong and don’t know why they charged as with non existent currency, I hope it will get resolved soon. Please be aware.
