• Nina (9/5): Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast and a lovely big bed and large shower. - Location is great and close to where I wanted to be. Property looks modern and it’s secure. No aircon in the room just a ceiling fan which helped a little but needed more.

• Mandy (9/5): Comfort and friendliness away from home 😀 - I left very early, before breakfast, but Moses encouraged me to help myself before leaving, which I did. The location is very convenient to the Fourways area. Moses made sure that I had everything that I needed, and was always available when required….he is a star. Thank you. Exceptional value for money. The building is spotlessly clean and comfortable but is looking a little tired.

• Sambo (9/5): I loved it!!! - One day, I forgot my cell phone in an Uber taxi and I was distraught. When I told Moses, the person who runs the place, about it, he was immediately vested like it was his phone. Without him, I am not certain I would have gotten that phone back that same night. I am certain I would have spent a lot of time agonising over the loss, thus ruining my stay in South Africa. Probably, I would not have gotten it all. (Of course, credit also to the Uber driver who kept answering it so we could link up). Yes, 21Kingfisher Guest House is nice and comfortable. And the mall just hundreds of meters away has a SPAR shop where I could buy groceries and coffee and the convenience was relieving. Yes, the Guest House served my purpose very well. But this extra touch, which was really a choice on Moses' part, makes the place memorable for me. I came away with a friendship etched into my history. God bless you, Moses. Fix the rim lock to Room No. 6 and add a soap holding place in the shower.

• Anne (7/5): Good - The first room I stayed in was small and extremely hot around mid February. I was fortunate to have been moved to a little bit of a cooler room, although still very hot at night despite the ceiling fan. The rooms have no air-conditioner which is unacceptable during summer. The rooms have no benches for luggage. Having to place a suitcase on the bed is definitely not hygienic and it can damage the bed linen. The wire hangers are like the ones used at dry cleaning services, incredibly cheap-looking. I feel that upgrading the hangers would be a good gesture. The manager was pleasant and helpful within the parameters of his position. Breakfast was rather poor. They offer eggs which each guest needs to cook for themselves. A bowl with apples and bananas, yogurt, and some cold meats were available, as well as brown / white bread, and croissants. The dining area has a long table for 8 people, something I didn't find appealing. It's already quite a cramped space with people trying to cook the eggs, and having to sit with complete strangers is not really the ideal way to start the day The pool is in unsatisfactory condition, with the paint pealing off, which gives the impression of neglect. The guest house is used for dancers training / rehearsals with music playing from 09:00 in the morning until 16:00 every day, except Sundays. For someone needing to work remotely whilst on a business trip, the place doesn't have any peace and quiet. Overall, I would say that the guest house is fine for a couple of nights for someone who is out and about during the day.

Rooms were clean and comfortable, it definitely exceeded our expectations and will definitely stay there in future for all other travel to Jhb and Pretoria. Breakfast was also great. Nothing to complain about.

Very nice staff, bedding and location. - The location and staff was really very good and the bedding was good quality and very nice and clean. The continental breakfast was sufficient, and we enjoyed the setting at the patio. The parking was very secure and sufficient I cant think of anything except maybe the traffic in Kingfisher road was a bit heavy but not an issue whatsoever. The steep driveway was a little bit of a challenge but not inaccessible.

• Sanet (9/5): Superb - The rooms are clean, have big bathrooms with amenities, and have comfortable beds. They are close to Netcare in Fourways and also very close to the casino for a night out. Breakfast is only continental but plentiful. It was cold, so we did not use the pool, but sure, it will be very welcome on a hot day.

They made sure we are well catered for in the midst of another team visiting especially in the morning foe breakfast. The breakfast setup can be improved into smaller tables in case different people are visiting than sit one table.
