La proprietaria Gabriela è stata sempre super disponibile. Per il Nostro viaggio di nozze ci hanno offerto una bottiglia di spumante e dei dolcetti ☺️ lo consigliamo a tutti! Non è una critica ma le porte delle camere strusciavano a terra non si chiudeva facilmente.
• Rafael (10/5): Excelente - Os funcionários são muito atenciosos e cordiais, a cama é muito confortável, a pousada é muito aconchegante, café da manhã acima da média, tudo feito na hora. Ao lado da pousada tem uma escola com uma quadra, então vez ou outra vai ter um leve incômodo com zoadas de gente jogando bola, nada que seja exagerado.

• Matteo (8/5): Cozy pousada in the center of Fernando - The staff (Gabriella) is very helpful and friendly. The pousada is nice, cozy and close to the center and to the bus station. Room is very small, towels are changed only every three days. It is close to the local school gym, you might hear noise in the morning and in the evening. It is a bit overpriced for the offer.

• Lucas (10/5): - Quarto e cama confortáveis, banheiro amplo com chuveiro que funciona bem. Ótima limpeza. Servem café da manhã excelente e tem café, bolo e biscoitos o dia todo. Raquel, a gerente, é muito atenciosa e nos ajudou muito. Visitantes devem estar cientes que há uma escola ao lado, com um ginásio. Há barulho durante o dia e por alguns dias a noite quando usam o ginásio, mas nunca estendendo-se para mais do que 22:30. Não me atrapalhou mas quem tiver sono leve deve levar isso em consideração.

• Boris (10/5): Come and stay here! It's amazing and we loved it! - The staff members were really nice, helpful and always motivated. Each morning we could make extra orders in terms of eggs, tapiocas or other things and everything was nicely served. A big plus was also that the receptionist spoke excellent English which helped me a lot (however I was traveling with a Brazilian friend). The rooms were really nicely decorated and everything was clean. In general the entire place was super modern compared to other pousadas or guesthouses that we saw in the town so this was a big plus for me :) There is barely anything to complain about. The only thing might be that the room was a bit small and we did not have much space to stow our clothes or backack / mini trolley properly and it always felt a bit in way. But this is the only point coming to my mind and which should not be overrated.

• Carolina (10/5): A warm and welcoming stay with outstanding service and delicious homemade touches - The staff is incredibly attentive, especially Carol, who goes above and beyond to assist with everything. She provides fantastic tips and recommendations, is always available to help, and even takes care of dinner reservations if needed. Truly the best hotel manager ever! The breakfast is homemade and absolutely delicious. At the reception, there are always homemade cakes, cookies, tea, and coffee available throughout the day, which adds such a warm and welcoming touch. The only thing I didn’t like was the water pressure in the shower, which was very weak. Additionally, the shower was at floor level, making it a bit messy to shower without getting the floor wet. However, this was only a minor detail—everything else was perfect! I can’t wait to go back!

• Per (10/5): Exceptional - The breakfast was very good. The best was that it was portioned out pr person, resulting in less food to throw away. Another was the hospitality of the staff and owner. After some misunderstandings they offered a very nice compensation for this, highly appreciated. The hotel was under construction, giving a construction look, but the entrance and rooms were superb.

O cuidado de Carol, Catharina, Gisele e as demais meninas, é notório que é personalizado com cada hóspede. O café da manhã bem personalizado, as meninas da copa já sabiam o que eu e minha filha apreciava e faziam com muito carinho. Na data do meu aniversário fui surpreendida com um bolinho que encheu meu coração de alegria. Localização estratégica, atendimento personalizado, organização e limpeza impecável, simplesmente EXCELENTE! Gratidão, Casa Makaira.
• Marco (8/5): Good Pousada on top of the island - Casa Makaira has been renovated very recently. Our room was big and with nice view of the sea and of the morro de pico. Breakfast was super good, tapioca and lot of different cakes and fruits. Staff was very helpful. Location is very convenient. Renovation works are not finished yet. The garden is still under renovation and not very tidy. This should be communicated to guests upon reservation! Strongly suggest to insert night tables near the bed. The pousada is close to the school and there is marching band exercising every afternoon... if you like the siesta after lunch, definitely not your place.
