• Isobel (9/5): - Lovely, quiet, clean, family-run spot, with two (!) beautiful roof terraces covered in plants. Unbeatable spots for breakfast or a beer overlooking the sea. The hosts are super helpful, kind and accommodating and the house has all the kitchen kit you could need to feel at home. Great location too. For awareness, some of the bunk rooms have limited windows and no outside view. They’re good value accordingly

Recomendado - Super bien ubicado el hostal, el cuarto muy cómodo, bonito, el baño muy chiquito pero preciso para 1 noche que pasamos aquí, la terraza en la azotea es muy linda. Buen wifi. El desayuno no es nada especial pero tiene lo básico. Fueron muy amables los dueños nos prepararon una hora antes el desayuno porque viajábamos temprano, muy atentos y gentiles en todos los aspectos.

• Koen (10/5): Great owners! - It is a great place to visit Valparaiso and its beautiful neighbourhoods. Casa Fibonacci is in one of the safer parts of the city. 10 minutes to the bus station, 20 to Viña del Mar and 40 to Concon. The owners are very helpful, flexible and concerned. Contact is immediate. When we were leaving earlier on the last day they arranged breakfast early. Great view over the cities from the balcony! Thanks!

It has a magnificent sun deck on top where you can enjoy a drink in the evening or breakfast in the morning. Breakfast was delicious as well :) We were there during winter time, there was no heating, which isn't a major inconvenience in this region, it was just a bit chilly in the evening. Nothing more.

• Maarika (9/5): Lovely and well located in a quiet street - The cosiest place for a hostel. Cute rooftop, small but well equipped kitchen. Lovely host. I could also get my clothes washed for a fee. Only that the toilet has no legroom, had to sit diagonally which was okay. Other than that nothing.
• Daphne (8/5): Nice stay - The room was nicer than I thought based on the pictures. It was really snug and the street on which its located is peaceful and nice. The roof terrace is really nice, with great views over the city. The common area with kitchen and sitting space was well equipped. Though it was very basic, I liked that there was breakfast. The hotel is close to the nice areas of Valparaiso. The staff is really friendly and the male owner spoke really good English. The bathroom is really small. So small you can't sit straight on the toilet but have to turn a quarter because there is no leg space. I also think it will be quite noisy when there are more people, as this room was directly situated next to the common area. Luckily for me there weren't that many people this time, so it was alright. The hotel itself was a bit hard to find, as there are no name signs. You have to find the street and then the number and then there is this black door with no doorbell and no handle on the door. I ended up pounding on it and someone came downstairs to open it, but since they do not have all day reception, it is important to share with them when you think you will be there, so there is someone to open up the door!
• Lori (10/5): I loved my room, the hostel is adorable. Above the rooms is a patio for grilling, and the roof deck has an amazing view - Excellent location near both Cerro Allegre & Cerro Concepción! Close to El Peral funicular and Paseo Yugoslavia. Also close to Muelle Prat for boat ride and bus near Plaza Sotomayor to Vina Del Mar. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like!

• David (8/5): Perfect for our overnight stay prior to boarding our cruise. - Lovely hostess and comfortable bed in a quiet neighborhood. Price was good and facilities were clean and everything was as advertised. A street address number posted on the outside by the front door would have been helpful as even when we got there we weren't sure if we were at the right place. Lots of steep steps would make it difficult for some travelers.

The location is perfect to explore Valparaiso. The rooms are very clean, the kitchen is well equipped and the shower was the best we had in South Amerika. They have a terrace and a roof top where you can enjoy sunset and sunrise with a great view of Valparaiso.

Everything was clean and decorated with taste, fitting in the artistic neighbourhood. The location is great to discover Valparaiso. Breakfast was nice, with eggs and fresh fruit among other things. The hosts are lovely and went out of their way to make our visit to Valparaiso one we will not forget. The terrace with views over the city and harbour is a nice bonus.
• Sharon (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful, relaxing, clean, spacious. The bed was the best I've slept in during our travels through Peru, Bolivia and Chile. The kitchen was well equipped even including milk (huge bonus for us brits who love a proper brew!). The entire place is decorated and cleaned to a high standard. The showers are AMAZING!. It is more like having a home to use and respect rather than a hostel. You are left to your own devices and can enjoy the entire place at your leisure. Even the washing machine!! The two terraces are beautiful,1 set up with TV, BBQ and lovely plants/ succulents to decorate. The other has amazing views and seating so groups can easily enjoy the areas in peace. The owners are lovely people, even brought us a bottle of Monkeys Tail on Christmas Eve which we enjoyed with our BBQ on the terrace. I wish them all the best for the future. We are so happy we chose to spend our Christmas here. NOT ANY FAULT OF THE HOSTEL / OWNERS. I JUST NEED TO RANT. NO NEGATIVES ABOUT THE HOSTEL!! The only other people staying at the same time as us were a group of 3 very young adults (students?) They were extremely isolated and unsocial. It would have been nice to have Christmas speaking to other people. As it was, it was just myself, my husband and the three other peoples' mess. They were extremely inconsiderate and took up three rooms leaving their mess everywhere. Filled the fridge with their items for Christmas dinner, disregarding anything already in there, dumping RAW chicken on top of cheese slices prepared for breakfast. Cigarette ends on the table, glasses and empty bottles, half eaten bananas, chicken carcass, torn open bags of flour. I felt annoyed that they left a complete mess for the owners to tidy the next day, even after we reminded them that a particular area was required for breakfast to be set up. Inconsiderate, disrespectful and leaves a bad impression on the bristish youth. 'posh, spoiled brats' !

The hosts are amazing, very kind and open to all questions. The room and beds were perfect, simple and clean. The place also has a rooftop lounge where you have an amazing view over the city. In my eyes this is the perfect hostel. I really cannot think of anything that is wrong...
