• Michael (6/5): Fairly basic place to stay in La Neuveville, rather overpriced for what you get - It's a bit basic (used to be a school girl's boarding house, and it has that sort of vibe), but as a place to explore La Neuveville it works just fine. The pool is a nice additional feature The water pressure in the shower was very low - almost a dribble. The duvets are made of synthetic material and they tend to make you overheat and sweat when you use them.

• Jay (7/5): Monumentaly mediocre - Could be a cool little hotel. However, needs a proper renovation. Lots of little things could be improved… space in the bathroom for toiletries. A queen bed is two single beds pulled together not a proper double bed. A proper bike room with electricity for e-bikes. Jam at breakfast (only honey was available at breakfast. A theme for decoration rather than a tasteless mix of IKEA and furniture that would be hard to sell in a second hand store. Plastic plants instead of the real thing.

• Geoff (10/5): We loved the spacious feel of the Villa, the varied choice at breakfast, the proximity to the station, supermarket, rest - It was a spacious, very clean historic villa. Our room had a beautiful view onto the lake and distant mountains, even the Alps.The hostess was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Nothing.

• Matthias (9/5): A lovely hotel in a lovely village. Highly recommended! - The hotel, which is in the lovely little village of La Neuveville, is in an old and very charming house. The host is super friendly. The hotel has a pool (not tested). The breakfast is rather basic, but there’s an excellent selection of cheeses and homemade jams. The coffee is good. The bed was very comfortable. Warm water came very fast. There’s not much parking space. If you arrive late, you can park at the train station. Parking rates are reasonable (0,50 CHF/h) and free between 19:00 and 7:00. The bathroom was rather small as the house wasn’t laid out as a hotel with a bathroom in each room. My room had a small bathroom with sink, toilet and shower installed in the corner of the room. The Internet connection wasn’t very fast, but consistent. The wireless network is password protected, which is clearly better than the usual networks in Swiss hotels which are with a landing page.

The car park is not big enough to fit more than three cars, but in case of fully occupied, you can park your car at the opposite coop supermarket

• Lindsay (9/5): Highly recommend as a lovely place to stay. - Fantastic family room with lots of space. Very friendly host. Great location with easy access to the lake and walking distance to lovely restaurants. We did not have a chance to use the pool but it looked very inviting and clean. Breakfast was simple, with no hot food.

• Joy (10/5): Magnifique! - Our room was beautiful, clean and spacious, with a gorgeous view. Sylvia was exceptional with her friendliness and attention to detail. The staff were all kind and helpful. It was a perfect stay. I can't think of a single thing I didn't like. The accommodations were wonderful. Breakfast was just right. Loved our stay in La Neuveville.
