- Figueredo (10/5): - A beautiful, peaceful spot with no loud party music. Perfect for relaxing and watching spectacular sunsets. The crystal-clear water offers a glimpse into the wonders of the underwater world. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the room was in perfect condition and spotlessly clean.
- marianamalveira (8/5): Good - A equipe foi bastante solícita e gentil a todo momento, especialmente Maria, Carlos e Antonio. O quarto é arrumado e bastante confortável, simples e aconchegante. Achei legal que deixam máscaras e snorkles disponíveis no quarto para aproveitar melhor o hotel. Achei o custo-benefício do restaurante baixo, a comida e bebida são bons mas bem simples para o preço. Como é em uma parte da ilha que não há outras opções de fácil acesso, acabamos ficando reféns do restaurante do hotel.

Eine klare Empfehlung, vielen Dank! Da man etwas abgelegen wohnt, ist man auf die Hotelküche angewiesen. Die ist sehr gut, aber nicht ganz günstig.

- Riaño Salas (10/5): Pequeño rincon para gozar de paz y tranquilidad - Acabamos en Fragata Island House por casualidad y nos hubiésemos quedado más días. Nada más llegar nos atendió Berta la administradora de la casa, con unas arepas con huevo que estaban riquísimas. La casa está situado en una de las islas pequeñas, ideal si uno quiere huir de la fiesta y el ruido, y va en búsqueda de tranquilidad y paz. La casa es pequeña por lo que no hay muchos huéspedes t se puede gozar de mucha privacidad. Tienen muchas actividades que uno puede hacer, y una playa en la parte de detrás con acceso directo al mar donde puede hacer snorquel. Y que decir de Antonio y María Alejandra que siempre estaban atentos, preguntando si necesitábamos algo. La comida también era exquisita para estar todo y manejarlo desde una isla la relación calidad precio es buenísima. Nos hubiésemos quedado más días sin duda, y esperamos repetir.
- Julia (8/5): Sehr schönes Hotel mit wundervoller Lage und aufmerksam Personal, was jedoch etwas freundlicher sein könnte. - Das Hotel und die Lage sind wunderschön. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich eingerichtet und das Essen ist sehr lecker. Auch die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Das Personal ist wirklich regelmäßig damit beschäftigt, die Anlage sauber zu halten und dabei Diskretion zu bewahren. Jeden Tag von 3:00 bis 6:00 Uhr gibt es eine Happy Hour, in der zwei Cocktails zum Preis von einem gibt. Zur Ankunft gab es einen kleinen kostenlosen Snack, was wir sehr schön fanden. Die Preise für das Essen sind sehr teuer. Auf mitgebracht Speisen und Getränke muss man eine „corc fee“ entrichten. Ausserdem spricht das Personal überwiegend kein Englisch. Ein Kellner war wirklich immer sehr bemüht, uns trotzdem freundlich zu behandeln, beim restlichen Personal hatten wir eher den Eindruck, dass sie uns auf dem Weg gegangen sind, aufgrund sprachlichen Barrieren. Für den letzten Tag war ein Check-Out für 11:00 Uhr vorgeschrieben, was für uns trotzdem in Ordnung war, obwohl das Boot erst um 14:30 Uhr kam. Allerdings haben wir im Laufe des Wartens gemerkt, dass alle anderen später ausgecheckt haben. Woran das liegt, wissen wir nicht, wir gingen auch hier davon aus, dass wir es uns einfach nicht mitgeteilt hat, weil wir die Sprache Spanisch nicht beherrschen.

Para aquellos que quieran noche de rumba, les recomiendo otras opciones. Pero para la persona que quiera relajarse con una buena comida y un plan tranquilo. Este es el hotel a elegir. Todo estuvo bien. Felicitaciones por tener las instalaciones en tan excelente estado.

- mejía (1/5): Decepcionante. - Nada, publicidad falsa las instalaciones son horribles, no se puede hacer nada, parte de las personas que atienden no lo hacen de buena manera, el lugar en sí no ofrece nada es perder tiempo la ida a este hotel La atención, el lugar, ilusionan con unas fotos que nada que ver en sus publicidades , no se puede hacer nada más que nadar en 10 metros de playa que tienen y súper bajita, no se logra disfrutar el mar allí.

And you can swim on the rooms side as well which is deeper. Amazing to have all the rooms steps from the water. Food was good and big portions. Prices are comparable to Canadian prices. Staff was lovely and accommodating. I highly recommend it Pillows could be fluffier

We loved our stay here and it was a perfect end to our holiday in Colombia Minor issue with the toilet flushing but was easy to resolve

Beautiful and quiet - somewhere you’d want to go for 2 nights and do very very little. Clean rooms & free snorkels etc Food is also really good! Happy hour too Some card game and other bits For the price it is a bit spenny but kind of what you expect. Beds were very hard.

And it was great to be in a tranquil, beautiful environment. Love to have stayed longer than 2 nights. More water options might be good.
- Laura (9/5): - The location of the house is unbeatable. There are two decks to tan, one with natural shade and the other with umbrellas. The three days that we were there, the island was super calm and you didn’t have annoying music coming from other hotels aside from the Sunday we arrived. Although there is no small shop at the hotel, the locals all sell different things like water, snacks, drinks, sun cream, etc. And they are all located 5-10 min walking distance from the house. They give you snorkel equipment and fresh towels for the beach everyday. The food is very good and the cocktails are delicious. They did happy hour every day. The rooms were cleaned earlier than check-in, that was a plus and everybody working there was super nice. You can also use paddle boards and swim around the shore of the island. They also have different actives that you can book. There isn’t hot water but that is okay as it is not very cold and either. You need to eat and drink at the house for all the meals as there are no other options and it can become a bit expensive, but everything is delicious.

La comida también es muy buena, sobre todo considerando las dificultades que presenta este tipo de complejos en una isla. Es un recomendado 100% Quizás tuve mala suerte , partiendo de la base que nuestra habitación era muy pequeña lo que no hubiese Sido problema si el aire acondicionado no apuntara directamente a la cama haciendo imposible decidir si morir congelado o de calor. La cama y las almohadas estaban para el cambio. Se hizo difícil dormir.

Lugar perfecto para descansar, donde cada dia la comida es fresca y cocinada en el momento. Los tragos ayudan mucho al disfrute, y las actividades que ofrecen complementan de forma perfecta. Das Essen war auch gut, das Personal sehr freundlich. Gute Klimaanlage und wir hatten 24h lang Strom. Mit 2 Nächten habe ich praktisch fast 3 Tage dort geniessen dürfen! Danke! Ich würde empfehlen, dass die Liegenschaft besser kontrolliert und unterhalten wird. Meine Verandatüre war schief und liess sich daher nicht schliessen (was kein Problem darstellte), der Safe war auch kaputt, konnte ihn nicht mehr öffnen nachdem ich ihn zur Probe geschlossen habe 😆

- Nixie (10/5): Slice of heaven, perfect relaxation hotel - Prefect relaxation hotel, we already want to go back! The hotel is very small with only 8 rooms, it never felt crowded. An abundance of spots to relax and have a nap outside, and a private beach and dock area. They have snorkels, floaters and paddle boards you can use anytime. You can also book activities! The food was super delicious, and the staff was incredibly kind. They have a cute cat and dog on the property too! Just FYI, the price of the boat transfer is not included in the price. As expected, the price of the foods & drinks are not cheap, as you are on an island.

Musique très forte en fin de semaine venant de l'hôtel en face ( jusqu'à 2h du matin) ou bien des bateaux qui s'arrêtent devant l'hôtel et nous infligent de la musique tout l'après-midi. Cela gâche le côté paisible de l'île. Pas d'eau potable à disposition, il faut acheter des bouteilles d'eau

Y el personal es muy atento y amable, en espacial Berta, Hector y Maria Alejandra, fueron muy amorosos con nosotros. No le encontramos puntos flojos a nuestra estadía. - Volker (9/5): Super Lage zum Schwimmen und Relaxen - Super Lage an der Lagune und dann noch einen Strand auf der Südseite, wenn der Wind mal ordentlich bläst. Das Essen ist sehr gut und mein Zimmer war wirklich schön. Im Personal spricht niemand Englisch und Zusagen sind einfach mal gestrichen wurden -> Immer nachfragen, z.B. Transporte mit dem Boot. Bei den SUPs hat die Finne gefehlt, dadurch sind die SUPs kaum nutzbar

And 4 paddle boards (slightly less inflated than ideally). 10 min walk there is a small store with water, chips and cookies and very basic necessities. The food in the restaurant isn't special and is quite expensive. And you have nowhere else to go to eat.

The food is great, the rooms are beautiful and confortable. We loved the snorkelling activity (3h), the drinks, relaxing by the ocean. It's a quiet place where not much happens after sun down. It gets super windy at night so there's not much going on - it's perfect if you want to relax and recharge your batteries. The staff is lovely! The mattress was pretty hard. The drinks/food cost is higher.

- Ulrika (6/5): Okej och solnedgången var magisk. - Vi blev sjuka och tillbringade 4 av 5 dagar i sängen, vilken var skön liksom utsikten och välfungerande air condition. Väldigt litet område, kändes lite klaustrofobiskt… Resan dit var ett äventyr i sig.. Lite med livet som insats om jag skall vara helt ärlig, absolut inget jag gör om.. Restaurangen kunde ha varit trevligare.. En extra eloge till den snälla kocken som lagade välgörande te mot vår förkylning!

- Kelly (10/5): Welcoming and relaxing stay on a peaceful island - I loved the location on a quiet and peaceful part of the island. The rooms are right on the water where you can wake up to sunrise, and sunset is just a 1-minute walk away. The staff are delightful and work hard to ensure a pleasant stay. I was at Fragata House 4 nights, half of which were during a storm when I was the only guest. I found it very restful and explored tiny Isla Marina. When weather cleared, I enjoyed paddle boarding and snorkeling. Equipment for both are provided for free. The breakfast and dinner were delicious. Lunch is available anytime, but I was fine snacking. Most properties in the Rosario Islands host day trippers with party music, etc. I liked that Fragata House only had a few day trippers and focused on relaxing while other properties aimed for a party scene. Part of the charm is the remote location which is only accessible by boat. Visitors need to be aware that stormy weather can impact boat service to/from the island so, in high surf, you might need to go a day later or stay a day later (my case). Thus, I recommend scheduling a stay in the middle of your trip should the weather require flexibility.

- Fede (10/5): Un paraíso - Estuvimos tres noches y fue todo increíble. Literal estás en el paraíso. Todo es muy cómodo y la atención es perfecta. Un reconocimiento especial a la cocinera que hace unas comidas realmente muy buenas. Los precios son bastante razonables. Sin duda volvería! Como recomendación me parece que podrían agregarle alguna especie de venta de galletitas o algo dulce para la media tarde.

- Raquel (9/5): Pasamos 4 noches para terminar nuestra Luna de Miel en Fragata Island y la decisión no pudo ser más acertada. Nos atendi - La tranquilidad del hotel, las habitaciones con vistas al mar y la limpieza que tenían, la comida era muy buena y los trabajadores te cuidaban para que te sintieras bien atendido en todo momento. La cama quizás estaba un poco dura y la música tan alta de otros barcos que llegaban al muelle.

No hay tiendas y en el alojamiento, no hay alimentos en todo momento, es decir como snaks o algo parecido. Debemos comprar agua natural en todo momento, ya que no te la proporcionan, deben ir preparados.

I had read some older reviews mentioning that the service wasn’t great, but it seems they now have a new team of waiters who are enthusiastic, attentive, and truly professional — a total game changer! The rooms were spotless and beautifully maintained, the beach in front of the hotel is gorgeous, and the food was excellent — super fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I also booked a romantic dinner at sunset arranged by the Fragata team — it was magical, easily one of the most special experiences I’ve ever had while traveling. Everything about this place exceeded my expectations. Highly, highly recommended
- Harriet (6/5): Average stay - Great secluded location. Free snorkels for all guests No drinking water available - the other hotels on the island provide for their guests for free, but not Fragata. Food was not very tasty, overpriced, small portions, and there were very few options for vegetarians. Because of its location, it can be tricky getting to other hotels to eat (you need to walk through the mangroves to leave the hotel). The hotel has six paddle boards to use for free, but five are broken / missing the fins. Some staff quite rude. Would recommend staying elsewhere

- Emily (9/5): Nice stay - Lovely location where you can watch the pelicans and fragatas all day. Room was nice, but could do with a refresh. Lovely sheltered balcony. Food was nice and pina colada delicious! Whilst food was nice I was a bit bored of menu after 2 nights. Breakfast comes with ingredients not listed on the menu fir example peppers and onions in omelette. . Apart from the beer drinks are pricey! Would be nice to be able to eat a bit later and if there were better vibes in the evening. Definitely book a room with a balcony where you can chill in the evening when everything is closed. Management definitely prioritise the day visitors over the guests staying at hotel.

- claudio gabriel (10/5): Dos dias en el paraiso - Hemos pasado con mi esposa unos dias inolvidables en Fragata Island. La habitacion hermosa, la cama mas que comoda, y la ubicacion , literalmente, abris la puerta y estas en el mar. El personal siempre super amable, la atencion fue excelente. Un punto a destacar sobre cualquier otro alojamiento es que desde que llegas te dan mascaras de snorkel y padlle board, con las primeras no dejas ni un momento de ver peces de colores bajo las impecables aguas del caribe, y con los botecitos, directamente me iba a recorrer a remo parte de las islas cercanas, una experiencia inolvidable. No paras de divertirte y disfrutar. El desayuno magnifico, y las comidas extras que consumimos no son nada caras y por demas ricas. Fue como estar unos dias en el paraiso. En realidad todo estubo perfecto, si tengo que poner un minimo punto negativo es cuando vienen los Pasadias, que aumenta la cantidad de gente por un rato, pero es comprensible ya que les es otra entrada de dinero necesaria para mantener el predio impecable como esta.

- ELISABET (9/5): Lugar perfecto para relajarse y desconectar - Un alojamiento con un pasaje idílico en las islas del Rosario. El ambiente es perfecto para relajarse y desconectar. El personal es muy atento y agradable. Quizá lo que echamos en falta fue un poco de ambiente para después de cenar, a las 21h se apagaba todo. Entiendo que el concepto del lugar es de descanso y por eso lo hacen, pero en nuestra opinión, nos falto eso para tenerlo todo.

Excellent foos. I would suggest more variety in the menu. And the shared bathrooms she be separated by male and female.
