- Bianca (8/5): Nette Unterkunft für die Durchreise - Ingrid und Barth sind sehr nette Gastgeber. Unser Zimmer hatte einen hübschen kleinen Sonnenbalkon und es gibt einen tollen Garten. See und Ort sind fußläufig erreichbar. Frühstück einfach aber liebevoll, alles was man braucht. Sehr guter Kaffee, selbst gemachter Joghurt, frisches Rührei und Obstsalat. Zimmer recht klein aber für eine Nacht völlig ausreichend. Das Erscheinungsbild von der Straße ist nicht topp, aber es zählen ja die inneren Werte.

Familiárny prístup, cítili sme sa veľmi príjemne ako doma. Nieje ani najmenšia vec , ktorú by som vytkla, určite sa vrátime znovu.

- Andre (6/5): Nette Pension mit schwieriger Lage - Der Gastgeber war überaus freundlich und wir wurden herzlichst empfangen. Das Zimmer war sauber und wie auf den Bildern zu sehen eingerichtet. Leider konnten wir aufgrund von Bauarbeiten nicht bei der Pension parken und mussten etwa 500m entfernt unser Fahrzeug abstellen. Die Lage an sich ist super. Leider ist jedoch eine Bahnstrecke direkt grenzend an das Grundstück der Pension, sodass wir Nachts mehrfach aus dem Schlaf gerissen wurden.

- Alfred (10/5): Sauber, gut und zu empfehlen. - Sehr sauber und ordentlich gemacht. Der Besitzer hat uns gute Tipps gegeben und ist sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Die Pension war schlecht zu erreichen da unser Navi es nicht finden konnte. Auch die Bahnlinie geht direkt hinter dem Garten entlang. Für Durchreisende ist es sehr zu empfehlen.

- Csákány (10/5): Tökéletes, kisebb létszámú, családias hangulatú szállás. - A komfort háromágyas szoba igazából egy két légterű szoba, összekötő ajtó nélkül. Egy nagy franciaágy és egy emeletes ágy a másik részben. Kényelmes a matrac, nem süppedős hátfájós. Modern berendezés, elég pakolós hely, mini hűtő. Erkélyen asztal székekkel, kis lámpa, hamutartó. Kávéfőzőhöz kaptunk két ajandek kapszulát is, van tea bekészítve. A reggeli bőséges választékos (felvágott, sajt, pékáruk, lekvár, májkrém, vaj, granola, zabpehely, gyümölcs, joghurt..). A tulaj megkérdezi milyen tojást hozhat, főtt, tükör, rántotta.. ? Frissen készül. A kert csodaszép, rendezett, virágos. Több ülőhellyel, padok, asztalok. Egy dézsafürdő is van. Nagyon nagyon kedves a tulaj és a felesége is. Nem túl sok, épp annyit kérdez és mond amennyit kell :) mosolygós aranyos házaspár

Everything was very fresh and healthy. Close to the center of Portschäch and to the train station. The host was really very friendly. Very close to the rail tracks, which might bother some people. It didn't bother us, though.

Das Frühstück war top, von selbst gemachtem Joghurt über frisch gepressten Orangensaft bis hin zu frischem Gebäck, Obst und Gemüse war alles da. Den Garten darf man mitbenützen, dieser ist sehr sonnig und gemütlich.

Zimmer und Frühstücksraum gut durchdacht, sauber, es fehlt an nichts. Buffet reichhaltig und für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Man ist in 10 min zu Fuß im Ort, sehr angenehm. Komme gerne wieder! Es ist direkt neben der Bahn, also wenn man absolute Ruhe sucht, ist es nicht die richtige Unterkunft für einen.

- Klaus (5/5): Freundlicher Gastgeber trifft auf Haus aus den 60ern - Gleich nach dem einparken wird man von dem überaus freundlichen Gastgeber begrüßt. Die Bahn fährt direkt hinterm Haus - und das bis spät in die Nacht hinein. Die Eingangstüren zu den Zimmern sind normale Holztüren aus den 70er Jahren oder früher. Entsprechend bekommt man jegliche Geräusche und Gespräche vom Gang mit. Die Heizung wird über Nacht ausgeschaltet und erst um 7 Uhr in der Früh wieder eingeschaltet. Das bekommt man sehr gut mit, da die letzte Heizkörperentlüftung wsl beim Einbau war. Am Duschschlauch war deutlich Schimmel zu erkennen.

The guesthouse is right next to the railway tracks. I found that stressful when sleeping. The bathroom ist very, very small.

- Ines (8/5): Traumhafte Tage am Wörthersee - Die Pension wird sehr individuell und liebevoll geführt..Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll mit vielen kleinen Details..Ich habe mich sofort wohl gefühlt..Barth hat beim Frühstück jeden Wunsch erfüllt; es gab viel selbst Gemachtes und es wurde Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit gelegt..Der Kaffee aus der Maschine war Klasse! Ingrid war der gute Geist im Hintergrund..Ich hab sie nicht oft gesehen, aber sie hat ihren Job sehr gut gemacht..😉 Der Weg zum Bahnhof war auch ohne Auto mühelos zu schaffen..Von dort aus kommt man schnell überall hin, und Kärnten ist sooo schön...

- Marcel (9/5): 8. Etappe Urlaub Kroatien 2026 - Wir sind Wiederholungstäter, sehr geräumiges Zimmer, sehr freundliche Betreiber. Tolles Frühstück,, fast alles selber hergestellt. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Sehr zu empfehlen. Zimner liegt in der Nähe einer Bahnlinie. Das Badezimmer ist recht klein.

- Susanne (9/5): Zu empfehlen! - Die Gastfreundlichkeit des Paares ist genial! Balkon zum Garten! Gutes Frühstück! Eine kostenfreie Badestelle ist zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. An die Bahngeräusche bei geöffneten Fenstern in der Nacht konnten wir uns nicht gewöhnen. Also Fenster zu! Zur Promenade, an den See muss man schon gute 15min laufen. Das sollte man wissen. Uns hat es nicht gestört.

Con un prezzo così basso non mi aspettavo un'accoglienza e un soggiorno così piacevoli. Colazione con prodotti genuini e completa di tutto, da dolce al salato. Camera pulitissima e comoda. Letto confortevole, si dorme benissimo. Bagno completo di tutto e molto pulito. Il parcheggio gratuito l'ho trovato sempre libero, quindi nessuna difficoltà anche in questo. La gentilezza dei proprietari è davvero insuperabile. Anche impegnandosi, davvero non riesco a trovare lati negativi.

Trotz eines gesundheitlichen Zwischenfalles meiner Begleitung fühlte ich mich sehr wohl. - Judith (10/5): Exceptional - Bart and Ingrid were exceptional hosts. Their kindness, generosity and attention to every detail made our stay truly memorable. Everything is immaculate, clean and tidy and a most delicious breakfast is served every morning. We did not want to leave.

- Artem (10/5): Exceptional - Very affordable for this location! Everything is perfect, I dont know what to comment. Somebody can notice the railroad nextdoor, but it hasn't bothered me somehow.
- Diana (9/5): We had a pleasant stay - The property was nice,they have a well-maintained garden, and the room was clean. The breakfast was good. Also the staff was nice and helpful I would say is a little on the pricey side for one night.

- Caroline (10/5): If coming to Worthersee, THIS is the place to stay! Forget all the others - you've found the BEST! : - What is there NOT to like about Pension Kitty? First, Barry is an absolutely wonderful host! He was incredibly cheerful, accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. When we arrived, he gave us a full tour and recommended restaurants to us in the area. At breakfast, he made homemade bread every day which was absolutely fantastic- I'm pretty sure I had 4 slices of it on our last day. ;) Barry also makes homemade yogurt and smoothies - which were really fun. We just felt incredibly welcomed the entire time we were there. And if Barry's hospitality isn't enough to draw you in - the quality of the room will! We came to Europe for 6 weeks and this place EASILY had the best bed, pillows, etc. The bed was so comfortable - we didn't want to leave. I know I'm writing about the toilet paper but seriously, it was QUALITY and the towels weren't the scratchy white towels you get in every other hotel, they were actually soft and cozy. It was just the little things. My husband and I especially loved that we had access to the coffee maker in the breakfast room at any time of day - we hadn't experienced that before and it was a nice touch. We also loved the mini coffee maker and fridge in the room - really nice! Barry, I hope you read this: sincerely, you are such an incredible host and we comment often about how wonderful our trip was to visit you and your lovely guest house! Thank you for brightening our mornings with your whistling and for your wonderful music played at breakfast - you were the only place to play non-top 40 music hits ;P Can't think of a single thing - we truly had such an incredible stay and we actually felt like we were at home in your home. So thank you for that, it truly meant a lot <3
- Mariana (10/5): Exceptional - Homemade breakfast was amazing. Nothing, it was great. Not the perfect place for solo travellers as it’s more like a family destination, but still lovely.
- Derlys (10/5): Excellent - The property was lovely. Near to the train station. The host was very kind. The breakfast was amazing. Everything was delicious. 100% recommend.
