• Gabby (8/5): Beautiful, comfy cabin in picturesque surroundings. - This is a beautiful little cabin, in quiet, picturesque surroundings. It’s easy to get to, the hosts were very friendly and accommodating and the room was both spotless and very comfortable. Plenty of breakfast and snack options were available too. The bed is super comfy and a lot bigger than it looks in the pics. Nothing really - though the cabin is situated at the back of the property by the shed where some of the farm machinery is stored. You may have the hosts passing in front of the cabin window wall or they may be outside in the shed when you leave for the day. It did make us feel a little like we were in a fish bowl so we had the curtains closed a lot, but that’s on us not the hosts. They’re not at all intrusive.

• Michele (10/5): Fantastic cottage near the Rail Trail - Very quiet and private, with a sitting area outside overlooking the paddocks. Ample room to park the car, and leave our bikes and bike rack out of the way. The room was very comfortable for the weekend, supplied with items for breakfast and snacks. Hosts were lovely, gave us some suggestions for riding the Rail Trail, and even some fresh veggies from the garden (delicious). Thank you

It has everything you need, they even provided a great DIY breakfast. Bed comfy and place was spotless too. Plenty parking and easy to find. Wonderful. 10/10 Didn’t get access to the WiFi, so couldn’t rate it.

• Anne (10/5): It was short but totally relaxing and pleasurable. - The supplies were suitable. The bed and sofa were comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were clean and modern. The lighting, especially the reading light in the ceiling over the bed, was excellent. The gardens were therapeutically lovely. My dogs had a great time - on the leash. The location is beautiful. Unfortunately I mainly took videos to capture the full extent of the beauty and they would not upload below. Driving at night from the M31 through the Yarra Valley on roads I didn't know and not seeing anything of the country was a nightmare for a nervous nellie like me. Driving out the same way by day was a delight - such a beautiful part of the world.
• Graham (10/5): Highly Recommended - The hosts. Marilyn and Noel, have established a friendly, unique, comfortable, well appointed, pet friendly facility within an idyllic rural setting. The attention to detail is clearly evident and much appreciated, particulalry the unexpected breakfast provisions. For us, the location provided easy access to the picturesque villages of the the Dandenong Ranges and the Yarra Valley. A memorable stay that we intend to repeat. Highly recommended.

• Ayden (10/5): Beautiful location beautiful owners and awesome value for money - The owners are lovely people, the location is a beautiful piece of land with lots of horses and the accommodation was well worth the money and we were made to feel very welcome we would definitely stay again! No dishwasher so all the plates and cups we used we had to wash by hand but we were more than happy to do so.

The accommodation is so clean and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. We loved seeing all the horse and ducks. The hosts were lovely and very helpful. We would highly recommend The Stables! Just need a little more butter for the toast please.
• Jill (8/5): A peaceful stay. - Very private single cottage. Peaceful farm yard with vegie garden to die for. Lots of horse poo!!! It was nice to have the place to myself. No complaints. It is what you want it to be.
• Sharon (4/5): We came home more tired than when we left due to having to get up a number of times during the night to try to turn thin - It was quite, beautiful scenery. Marrilyn the owner was very lovely. The bathroom was lovely. Bed was very uncomfortable, it is very small cabin just one room. No cooking except microwave. The tv come on by itself at around 12.30 every night and the lights at front door kept coming on as well in the middle of the night you couldn’t turn them off. You don’t have any signal on your phone from this accommodation either

• Mohammad (10/5): So Relaxing - The property is so beautiful and has a beautiful surrounding! We stayed here for the night after our Japanese Mountain retreat. We loved everything about this little Cottage, I meet Noel and Marlyn and they were so lovely.

The breakfast provisions were both fresh and plentiful - Delicious. The room was warm and welcoming on arrival and the atmosphere serene. It was quite dark at midwinter and I really could have used a reading lamp.

• Debbie (10/5): truely a little Gem - it was very clean, and had some nice thoughtful touches . they thought of everything even some lovely snacks to enjoy with fresh bread and milk. the little place had comfort bed and everything you will ever need as well as a microwave, fridge and coffee machine. glorious view from the window. I don’t really want to mention this because it was a beautiful place , but there a couple of small things the bed was a little high as im only 5.2 I’m short so i little step under the bed would be good for shorties like me. also maybe invest in some soft towels as the towel was big hard on the skin. that’s only a personal preference.
