Guest Reviews
- Rebecca (7/5): Good place for work stay, great location. - I liked the electric door lock, easy access. Heater worked very well & quickly & location was quiet, central. Great community with host.
- Kylie (8/5): It is cute and cosy - Very clean and updated. Good price and location.
Slept well, always a positive. Could get TV to work. But not a big deal as was out and about.
- David (1/5): - Nothing good Bad small taps faulty
- Naomi (10/5): We had a lovely stay - Clean, had everything we needed and handy to 24hr service station
- Danielle (10/5): -
- Barnes (9/5): -
- Clinton (10/5): - Excellent parking close to long island everything worked. Awesome showers . Other people before us throwing cigarette butts on the grass area. Picked some up. 3 corner jacks through the lawn.
- David (9/5): -
- Marty-AU (8/5): Clean, well maintained and everything you need in a house. -
- Veronica (8/5): Overall our stay was very pleasant and comfortab. Would happily book a stay there again. - I liked the location and after the initial issue with the cleaner not having been I was extremely pleased with the venue. The cleaners came and were exceptionally efficient and friendly. The whole experience of our stay was overall very enjoyable. The only real issue I had was the bathroom shower was hard to reach the taps to turn on without getting cold and wet and the taps need updating as the hot water tap kept coming off. Also the TV kept cutting out after a couple of minutes in use no matter what channel you were watching. Even replaced the batteries. to no avail.
- Te Paea (10/5): -
- Lynette (10/5): -
- Leslie (8/5): Our stay was enjoyable and property well located - The location was great and the unit was comfortable No heating in bedrooms and bathroom needed a heater. Fridge was a bit small for 6 adults
- Louise (9/5): - Lovely little cottage
- Maria (8/5): I was very happy with the property - Nicely presented and well supplied Position
- Mick (8/5): Very good - Easy access and close to what we were there for Had an issue with the washing machine
- Wendy (3/5): Dissappointing - This property needs to be taken off rental and the following fixed - walls, floor sinking, fridge faulty, shower taps wrong position, outdor setting filthy, front garden weeds, thorns in backyard horrendous, tv aerial held together by foil, reception poor, filthy stained lounge chairs. Neighbours felt the same way next door.
- Heather (6/5): Beds were comfortable the facilities were great as we could cook our own breakfast in the morning - We did have trouble with the tv at first but sorted that out
The door code was battery operated and we had trouble getting in as they were flat
- Marjorie (6/5): Pleasant -
- Gayle (7/5): It was a nice place to relax and the Bakery was just around the corner to get really good coffee - Location was nice and quiet. Close to shops. Bed was very comfortable Television kept playing up. Refrigerator didn’t keep anything cold, even though it was turned up to MAX when we arrived. Not good when you have insulin that needs to stay cool. Had to keep putting things in the freezer to get them cold.
- Kylie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mira (1/5): Would not stay there ! - Location okay Dirty.Furniture stained.TV did not work .Fire alarm hanging off ceiling.Gaffa tape holding air conditioning unit on wall .No air conditioning in bedrooms.Major cracks on walls,Depressing accomodation. The worst I have been too, after using booking.com for a few years.
- Anita (8/5): Very good -
- Christine (8/5): Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Location very handy to everything. - Hot water took a long time to cut in.
- Julie (7/5): Lovely place - Clean, open and central Television didn’t work picking up any stations
- Alysha (9/5): I'd stay here again! - It's a wonderful place with three rooms - double/queen bed in each room. Winter there is very cold despite the air conditioner so we brought electric blankets and throws.
It's nice and cozy, the cooking facilities were great - it's a gas stove (extra points!)
The bathroom area was lovely and clean and there were facilities for a longer stay such as laundry station There wasn't much to not like...
- Tania (7/5): Good -
- Suzanne (8/5): Very good -
- Cameron (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barbara (6/5): Overall we enjoyed our stay - Provided well for myself, husband and 3 grandchildren. Enough seating which isn't always the case. Getting information about the code and the delivery of it was difficult. Emailing didnt seem to work. Eventual contact with our host gave me the information but was getting very frustrated. Thankyou to Christie. Just a note that the soap dispenser over the shower was broken. No great problem as there was quite a bit of hand wash available.
- Ricko (5/5): Average at best and one for people on a low budget only - Available at a reasonable price for our requirements Window Venetian blinds that let light and cold in
Old aircon that heated poorly
TV reception poor and limited channels available
Cracked walls and sloping floor
Hot water system for bath poor
Is actually an old housing trust property and not an actual cottage
Back yard full of 3 corner jacks so impossible to walk on
- Edwin (5/5): Outside of a teething problem it was a pleasent stay - Suprising it was so quiet traffic wise close to super market Crissy will know the problem but she was straight onto it and was fixed with in an hour
- Crystelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Manfred (8/5): Very good - Bathroom and Toilet facility, no heater. Loop
- Aelesia (9/5): Great cute little house. - I couldn't have asked for a more perfect place for our trip! It was just around the corner from my neices home so it was easy for her to walk with the baby to meet his Great Grandparents!
The home had so much character and along with everything was was needed for our stay.
Thank you Chrissy! Not so much something I didn't like, more of a suggestion. Maybe a note on how to work the airconditioner/heater? We worked it out so all good :)
Also if you have dogs, becareful of the bindis in the back yard.
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carolyn (9/5): Superb - Definitely cute & cosy. Handy location. Nice, quiet residential area.
Everything you need to self cater.
Super comfy bed & nice hot, instant water.
- Tanya (9/5): Superb - Comfortable bed, spacious outdoor area, perfect for family's
- Dion (7/5): All we needed was a comfy bed, a toilet and a shower so ticked all 3 boxes - The house was all we needed as all we were doing was sleeping there as we spent our days at Tailem Bend wathcing the drags. Ran out of hot water but managed to swap over to the second gas bottle. The neighbours out the back made a bit of a ruckus but you can't choose your neighbours. I wouldn't recommend walking around the back yard in bare feet!
- Britton (9/5): Superb - Great communication from the host. Easy to find. Comfortable beds. Everything we needed was there including a cold airconditioner which was much appreciated on such a hot weekend.
- Kay (7/5): I left my favourite water bottle behind. We have family in M.Bridge that could have picked it up - Location Three corner jacks in backyard / probably too tiny for two young children (one a very lively three year old)
- Fiona (7/5): Good - Clean comfortable affordable No cancellations
- Peter (7/5): Good -
- Jimmy (8/5): Very good -
- Linda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Les (7/5): good little place for stay -
- Zarah (10/5): Fantastic thank you - Perfect for what we needed, central to town centre, great off road parking, clean & comfortable would highly recommended
- Wright (9/5): Superb -
- Kelsey (9/5): Superb -
- Melissa (8/5): Comfortable Lil house - The home was neat & clean, bed was OK, took our own pillows so can't comment on them!
The location was perfect for us, attending the local parkrun just around the corner & down the road & so close to the highway to go back to Tailem Bend! The garden needs some attention, the back yard and outdoor setting and BBQ needs a good clean up, I wouldn't use the BBQ! Probs give the gutters a clean out too, there are some native weeds growing up there
- Craig (8/5): quick cheap and easy. suited our needs perfectly. - location everything about the place suited what we needed
- Kathryn (10/5): The unit was comfortable and cosy - It felt like a home away from home. It was clean, beds were really comfortable , Chrissy, has thought of everything to make our stay very enjoyable We would have liked some coat hangers
- Tracy (7/5): Quiet and great location - Location is great, neat and tidy for the most part. Cleaners had forgotten to clean prior to arrival but it was sorted quickly by owner. Blinds on the bedroom windows need replacing, they do very little for privacy or light reduction. Lots of spider encounters, a fumigation would help. Same issues as last time that were reported and not acted on unfortunately.
- Michael (9/5): A good stay. - The size of the unit along with three separate bedrooms were exactly what we wanted for two adults and two children and not get in each other's way. That and the value for money compared to hotels for accommodation of this type is truly worth it. Not being able to stay longer.
- Michele (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Simon (8/5): Was good and convenient - Good getaway for families
- Susan (8/5): Very good - On the whole we liked the place. It was in a quiet neighbourhood which we appreciated The TV reception was poor, taps in shower were too low and rose was not adjustable.
- Clarke (8/5): Very good -
- Bennett (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (9/5): Very pleasant place to stay - I would return without hesitation. - It was convenient, particularly traveling with my dog. Having a secure yard was a huge bonus. It suited our needs to a T The TV was a little pixelated when viewing certain channels, but apart from that, it was perfect for our stay.
- Janet (7/5): Good -
- Liz (8/5): enjoyed our stay in Murray Bridge and was comfortable for our needs - perfect location a few streets away from daughter who had recently had twins clean, comfortable and convenience to our needs
- Johnathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kate (10/5): Exceptional - Pretty much ticked every box for our purpose. Great communicaton, easy to deal with and friendly.
- Primrose (8/5): Very good -
- Jon (10/5): Very good place to stay, better than motels and great value. - Very clean and tidy, quiet street, no issues. Owner was also very helpful. Nothing I didn’t like
- Michelle (8/5): Very good -
- Cv (7/5): Pleasant stay - Quiet street with bakery just around the corner. Good base to explore the area with Monarto Safari Park only 10 minutes away. Backyard needed a good tidy up and was not at all conducive to spending time outside. Window and fly screens need a good clean. No instructions for appliances, tv etc. It took us ages to remove subtitles off the tv screen.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very pleasant place to stay, clean and tidy. - Easy access with smart remote, 2x car driveway. Good clear instructions about property and smart lock. TV had Netflix which was a nice surprise. Only 1x small annoyance. The bathroom didn’t have a power outlet. (p.s. the visitor book didn’t have a pen either)
- Joe (8/5): Very good - The location was good and they property had everything we needed to be comfortable The bed in the first room was uncomfortable due to being too soft
- Tracy (9/5): Cute, cosy and functional - Very comfortable and roomy. Well renovated, WiFi was a huge plus with Netflix to enjoy in our downtime and close to everything we needed. Owners are very responsive to messages. Blinds in the bedrooms need to be replaced as they don't block out any light at all.
Would also be nice to have bug spray handy, as we found a few earwigs roaming around but nothing to spray them with.
Having said that we would stay again.
- Angelo (8/5): Very good -
- Angelo (8/5): Very good -
- Margaret (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely clean and tidy house. Plenty of room for relaxing. All was good.
- Lucjan (9/5): Superb -
- Akshat (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shepley (7/5): Good - Quiet street. Hot shower. It was comfortable and very clean. Some heating in the bathroom would be nice. Little touches like, heating on before you arrive and maybe salt and pepper, jams, butter and paper towels.
