It was such a great place to unwind and a short, easy walk down the hill to reach the beach. The ensuite was a great touch and the kitchen had all the cooking facilities we needed. Perfect place for exploring the Bay of Fires during the day and relax at night.
• Jodie (7/5): Comfortable cottage with a view - We liked the 2 bathrooms, full sized fridge, the size of the main area, laundry and the view of the bay. One of the sliding doors didn’t lock properly and we found the living room seats very low.

Given that there is no general store and st Helen’s is 10 kms away , (and in all fairness you did let us know about that) maybe for an overnight stay a light continental breakfast could be provided? It was exactly what we were after. So much space massive deck and the beds super comfortable. Highly recommended Nothing it was perfect.

• Mark (10/5): Heaven outside front window - stunning views, clean. comfortable, well appointed home with all amenities. So good it was hard to leave. Nice when you leave home to a place that is of equal standard. The coast here is jaw droppingly eye-watering beautiful - especially if youre into rock pools. I hate to let the secret out so wont mention Mermaid pool. Do yourself a favour. Some detailed instructions about how to use the electric cooktop and oven would be good. Minor thing honestly.

The cottage sits on a beautiful position overlooking the bay. The cottage was very well appointed. The beds were extremely comfortable with lovely sheets. Jan was great at communicating and even let us know that whales had been sighted in the bay. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like

• FIT7 (9/5): Spacious cosy cottage with magnificent view - 1. Magnificent view overseeing the Binalong Bay via the open plan lounge, balcony and sitting room 2. The cottage is well maintained, spacious with comfortable furnishings and well-equipped kitchen facilities 3. Two bathrooms and two toilets are available which is a must for us. Clean towels and hot water was excellent 4. Quiet and relaxing environoment 1, Not all the rooms were warm, Only the sitting room has heater, the master bed room has electric quilt, and one bedroom has portable heater, but one bedroom was quite cold as there was no heater. 2. Though clear instructions to reach were provided in advance, it was hard for us to find the exact location when we arrived there in the dark. Google map brought us up to the Wedge Court but we missed the turning near the private driveway. We needed to call them by phone to get hep to locate the cottage. It would be nice if an image of that turning could be provided in addition to text instruction. 3. Not much cafes and restaurants are available in the neighbourhood. Make sure to bring food to cook for breakfast.

Also a superb welcoming message via Bookings.Com Incredibly helpful notes etc We feel truly privileged to spend time there. Don’t change a thing, we will be back. We should have stayed longer.

• Cara (10/5): Amazingly breathtaking views. - Wow, the views are next level. You really couldn't ask for better. The house had everything we needed (except a clothes airer inside) plus more. Perfect size, bonus the kids had their own room! Beds were super comfy which has been rare in our Tassie travels. Would highly recommend, Jan was very responsive and very friendly. The only criticism I have is the shower head in the ensuite was wonky, hard to get it in the right position especially with the tray attached. Oh and the kitchen bin was tiny! But that is just being picky.

Great communication from the host and living up to its name, we spotted a pod of dolphins in the bay while sitting on the deck enjoying some cheese and wine. Fantastic place to spend the night. One wasn't quite enough.

Loved the views from the deck! It was a bit hard to find, to start with, but other than that, it couldn’t be faulted.

The verandah deck is stunning and so nice when watching the bay of fires beach in the background. Have recommended this property to friends and family. The only issue we had was the light was blown in one of the bedrooms but this did not impact our overall impressions of the home or our stay.

Cottage was clean and tidy and a lot of spare towels were provided. This is a beautiful home. Clear instructions to reach were provided in advance. It is easily accessible and a short walk down to the beach. There were even board games to play at night.! There’s is not a single negative thing. Highly recommend this place And I’m looking forward to renting again. I don’t have anything negative to say at all! A suggestion:: since Not too many rocks are visible from the property description of how far to skeleton point or other view points would have helped. It was slightly expensive for us since we were only two friends- wouldn’t have been cheaper if shared by 4 people etc.

• Diane (9/5): Perfect in every way. - The wide balcony and outdoor furniture was the perfect spot to while away the hours overlooking the beach. The house had everything we needed: comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, enough seating in the lounge area and a big dining table. Parking the car right at the back door was an added bonus. Instructions from the owner prior to our arrival were precise and friendly. There is really nothing we could fault.

Well appointed house, with many considerate additions, such as detergent for washing, pantry items, crockery, glassware & cookware. Just being picky, but the main shower could use a grab rail, as the tiles are a bit slippery when wet.

Everything was very well thought out , great kitchen , comfortable beds , excellent hot water .Sitting outside on the deck ,glass of wine and local oysters, doesn’t get much better than that . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it , we will be back !
