• Helen (10/5): Great extra long weekend in a modernised slice of Daylesford history - Fantastic layout with 3 bathrooms and an internal private courtyard. Great dining and outdoor tables for gathering to eat and chat. Good pantry staples and lots of glasses which was fab. Nothing much really .... Maybe an extra tea-towel or 2 especially as we had to ensure dishwasher was empty before departure.
• Kaitlyn (10/5): - The house was beautiful, spacious, decorated amazingly, everything we could’ve asked for The saloon doors in the toilet ! It was not an issue but wasn’t my favourite. Also, we could not open bedroom windows which wasn’t nice in the heat

• Michelle (10/5): Excellent accomodation, comfortable stay - The Elm Tree is stunning. Beautiful blend of character and comfort. Well appointed 5 big bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, great lounge dining kitchen area with cosy fire place, separate lounge if needed. The outdoor area was a great place to soak up the winter afternoon sun. Plenty of spaces to sit. Great range of cookware etc and provided consumables. We took a good walk to and around the Lake, then into town for coffee. We walked to the Sunday markets. We absolutely loved our stay. Nothing to dislike

• Loredana (9/5): Amazing house, comfort and ambience. - The house is absolutely beautiful, comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed. The rooms are great and well equipped. We loved the fireplace. The walk to town centre is too far, however we drove.

A quiet location with parking for multiple vehicles but only a short drive to the supermarket and main street of Daylesford. Hosts left a wonderful welcome tray of goodies and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is large with two living spaces and a delightful sheltered courtyard. More than basic provisions were provided in the kitchen, including salt, pepper, oil and some herb and spices etc. We also found tin foil, baking paper and cling film. Beds were comfortable and the heating made the house very cosy. Some small fussy niggles below that didn't detract from a lovely stay!.. The house is very dark, I assume this deliberate, being in Australia with all the heat in the summer, but perhaps some more / brighter lighting would help. The TV remotes were pretty hard to use. We only found the clothes drying rack on the last day - perhaps put its location (beside the shed ina covered nook) in the information book notes. For our stay of 5 nights and 6 people, a couple of extra hand towels would have been nice.
• Adrienne (10/5): Fantastic place to stay - It is such a beautiful place to stay with family or friends. Great outdoor area for hanging out and getting cosy around a firepit. Bedrooms are lovely with very comfortable beds. We loved our stay. There was no pantry space for our food, so we had to pile everything on the bench, which made it a little difficult to make things around the kitchen. Other than that, everything was fantastic.
