- Clare (10/5): The place was great and the hosts were lovely. - The hosts were great and very welcoming. They had a lot of animals you could walk around and visit. Could not recommend this place enough ! There is not much to do in the surrounding areas and would recommend you go when the weather is nicer.
- Kevin (9/5): Great stay - Location and size Nothing
- Virginia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Long (10/5): An experience of country farmlife - We were greeted by host Tracy and her doggos Jack and Max, amazing host showing us the day to day farm life.
The dogs are very friendly they come and company us during our stay outside the tiny home.
Tiny home equipped with everything needed, the bed is amazingly comfy and tiny home itself is very private in location. We bought pork sausages and they might be the best I had by far. None
- Aikaterini (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jodi (9/5): loved it & would go back there again - great value for money very clean and super comfy bed there was nothing not to like about the property just the composting toilet takes a bit to get used to
- Dean (10/5): Great people the tiny house was very clean and so was the farm. The pork sausages A1 - Easy going people willing to share their knowledge with you about the farm . This is shallow probably a tv when laying in bed at night
- Suzanne (8/5): Tranquil organic farm stay in tiny house. - The tiny house is set in a beautiful tranquil location overlooking a paddock of cows in the evening, sunrise in the morning. It was easy to find. The owner Tracy met me and was very friendly. The room was very clean and well fitted out with a very comfortable bed. I loved the farm produce left in the fridge for me to cook a meal: eggs, butter, milk as well as bread and jam. The tiny kitchen and bathroom were very good with everything I needed, the hot shower great, sawdust toilet good with zero odour. I enjoyed walking around the farm greeting the cows, dog, chooks and geese, looking at the sunflowers. I bought some fresh farm produce to take home. The tiny house was very hot and stuffy in the afternoon and early evening. The door had a partial flyscreen but the windows had no insect screens, so the house filled with flies if I opened a window or door for air flow. The air conditioner took a couple of hours to cool the tiny house. Tracy was very receptive to installing insect screens in the future.
- Britt (9/5): Superb - Nice quiet place to retreat to
- Jeno (10/5): Exceptional - We had a wonderful experience at the Chook House. My partner and I live in the CBD, so the busy city life can sometimes get to us. Visiting the tiny house was exactly what we needed for a quick weekend getaway. It took us 2.5 hours driving from the city to the farm. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the family and their dog, Jack, who loves to a good back rub.
We fell in love with the set up and how it was clean, tidy, and well organised. We were provided with their own organic eggs, milk, and other condiments. They also provided kitchenware such as an electric stove, kettle, toaster, dinnerware, etc.
We were invited to check out the farm the next morning which was an additional $10 per person (we thought this was a bargain) this included activities such as milking the cows, feeling the pigs, picking up chicken and duck eggs, and a drive around their farm. We loved everything about it that we just had to bring back eggs and other products for our friends back home. Thank you for having us Tracy and the family! Nothing! We wish we spent more than 1 night there, and bought more produce home.
- Robert (9/5): A great place to stay in the country! - The location and the fact that the Chook House was self-contained and comfortable. Nothing.
